Chapter 82 : Vs Lance
After reaching back to the hotel Gary went to his room opened his computer to check about his next opponent the future Kanto champion ' Lance '
His information was as follows
"Lance's grandfather is thought to be the elder of a famous clan of dragon masters."
"We have a customer, Lance, who occasionally comes. He always buys capes.
I wonder... Does he have many identical capes at home?"

"I'm considering going back to my hometown. I want to retrain my Dragon-type Pokémon and strengthen them.
I'd like to invite you to my hometown someday."
"You know that dragons are mythical Pokémon. They're hard to catch and raise, but their powers are superior. They're virtually indestructible. There's no being clever with them."
From the information I was able to guess that he is person obsessed with superior complex .
He is childish who thinks he is always right from his choice of pokemons .
He is somewhat type a arrogant young master too .
Gary shook his head and thought ' I can make him go in circles pulling him from his nose '
Gary laughed ' Tomorrow would be quite easy battle '

Gary was present on his position with Lance opposite to him . Today's battlefield was simple ground nothing extravagant .
Audience " GARY!!GARY!!!LANCE!!!"
Girls : "Gary, Gary, he's our man. If he can't do it, no one can! Go...Gary!".

Marco " Today will be great match if I would say Glen "
Glen nodded " Of course this is battle between potential Kanto's Champion "

Marco with confusion " That is a big question as Gary has never used a pokemon twice "
Glen explained " This provide a good mystery to opponents and increase chance for Gary to win "
Marco nodded in understanding
Glen " Today might be the same where he might bring a new pokemon "
Marco nodded
Glen continued " As today is last match he might even bring his ace pokemon "
Marco eyes shined
He shouted " Audience are you listening that there is chance we might witnessing ace pokemon of Gary "
Audience shouted in anticipation " WOOOOOOAAAAAAHHHHH"

Lorelei asked Agatha " Are the commentators right "
Agatha nodded " That might be the case "
Bruno became very interested he moved to the front and stared Gary with passionate eyes (for training )
Mr. Goodshow just laughed " HOHOHOHOHO"

Gary suddenly shuddered while looking at VIP box
Referee " Today's match is an official match between Elite 4 member Lance and Kanto Pokemon League Champion Gary Oak . If the match is won by Gary he will become the next Kanto Champion "
Audience "WOOOOAAAAHHHH"
Lance clenched his fist listening to the last sentence
Referee continued " This fight will be a 4-on-4 pokemon battle . First side to lose all pokemons due to circumstances such as fainting or forfeiting will result in the loss of the trainer . Are you both trainers ready "
We both nodded
"Call your pokemons at the same time "

Lance " Go Dragonair "
Gary " Go Blastoise "
Audience " GARY!!GARY!!!LANCE!!!"
Girls : "Gary, Gary, he's our man. If he can't do it, no one can! Go...Gary!".
The audience was very surprised by the size of Blastoise who bigger than standard.

Marco looked at Blastoise " So Glen Blastoise might be the ace pokemon of Gary "
Glen nodded " Most probably "

Lance didn't get intimated by Blastoise and spoke " Dragonair Dragon tail "
Gary " Blastoise Hail then Iron defense "
Gary knew that Dragon has weakness which is ice . So he used hail to affect all Dragon pokemon of Lance and gain a precious advantage in the match . After he had trust Blastoise will be able to completely defend himself from Dragon tail just by Iron Defense .
Blastoise as said from Gary completed his actions by performing Hail from which Hail storm started and then protected from Dragon tail .
Lance was breathing fire from his eyes by seeing Blastoise to gain terrain disadvantageous to Dragon pokemon and then even able to defend himself from Dragonair .
Dragonair was affected by Hail he had some frozen body parts .
Gary had a victorious grin on his face " Blastoise attack with ice beam "
Lance also moved at the same time " Dragonair Dragon rage "
Both attacks collided and created an explosion . Dragonair because of Hail and now even some ice beam started to shiver .
