He curses the god his village worshipped, and disrespected her. In retaliation, she appears before him. However upon laying eyes on her, his eyes melted. So helplessly he wondered helping anyone and everyone that he came across, all the while he marches with blind rage. With a single goal in mind, to commit the worst travesty to all the Gods.

Anubis' Beast

"Was an arm inside that creature's mouth? How could I possibly see it in color? Not white or blue, nor black, an actual skin tone," Phineas pondered as he pulled back his fist and ran back away from the beast. The beast's harrowing cries made the approaching men slow their stride.

"Should we back away," one of the men cried.

"And let that cowardly arrogant ass-cultivator- kill us for disobeying. I rather not."

"But what shall we do," the third man interjected.

"We slay the beast and assist Yosef! It's the usual, like every other beast we've ever hunted before," the fourth man said as he began charging at the beast with his sword drawn out. While he charged, the rest of the men froze under the desert the moonlight as they looked upon the beast that cried out in pain.

It had moved back away from Phineas who didn't notice the men (mostly due to him not being able to see them), but also because he felt some gooey juice similar to that of cranberry juice with the texture and thickness of yogurt sit on the same knuckles he used to punch the beast in its eye. He tried brushing it off into the sand as he thought, "What did I see there? Is the beast some kind of transformation? Is the beast actually a cultivator who transformed into a beetle like form? Why would he have his arm just hanging out there? Is it because I punched that soft spot? Was it his eye? How powerful is this cultivator? I don't think Yosef can handle him. Wait but he managed to break his horn, so clearly he mustn't be too strong," Phineas thought.

He managed to wipe off the beast's juices then he turned toward the beast and saw it had shaken off the pain a bit. That's when he heard the slight whimpering of man. The fourth man who had broke away from the group and charged forward had stopped before he could even get a swing in. Phineas turned toward the man, with his invisible eyes open, he could only see the beast's qi flowing towards its eye. "Its healing," he thought.

"It is healing! Run," Phineas yelled to the man as he begun his own sprint toward the beast. The man ignored his warnings, the only thing that filled his mind's eye was the ugly sight of the beast before him. Under the moonlight, the beast stood on its hind legs. Revealing to the man its exposed stomach, it pulsated with a purple glow, like a heartbeat. The man counted the legs on the beast, all 6 were meaty with the core of the leg's structure being fairly defined. The sheer size of this beast, he commented, "Thrice the size of me. If this was what a God looked like, I would not be surprised."

It fell down on its legs. As it began crawling backwards, the man took note of its purple armor that covered its back. Its horn twirled in the air before it was pointed directly towards him. With its head lowered he could see its deep purplish red eyes completely regenerated.

It started him down and he was instantly frozen. His eyes became watery. His palms became drenched with sweat. His legs quivering under the weight of his mind's eye that was filled with thoughts of his own demise. His voice was shot as his nose shot out snot. His hands lost all power in his grip, dropping his sword in the sands below. He had felt the chill of Anubis.

"I said run," Phineas yelled as he repeatedly hit his chest with his hand. "Why! Why can't I see anything! I need to see him! I need to see him! Save him quickly Phineas," his mind's eye screamed out as he failed to let out a wave of qi. "Damn it all," he snarled as he focused on the beast before him.

Although Phineas could see the qi of the beast, and see its general shape, he could not make out the finer details of the beast. Especially when he could not use his blind sight technique (hitting his chest to see without seeing), so a thought brewed in his mind. "It only attacks with his horn. I'll just have to break it. Just copy Yosef," he told himself as he tried to jump off of the sand. However as he tried to jump off of his foot to then launch himself at the beast's horn, he was so desperate and agitated that his qi had fluctuated. His qi had flown to his foot, applying more force into it and sinking into the sand ever so slightly enough for friction to slow down his leap.

Phineas would not notice this as the beast let out a wave of qi that brushed over everybody. it noticed Phineas and turned immediately toward him, it opened its mouth, and lifted its head revealing the arm within its mouth to Phineas, which once again distracted him. So vividly contrasting was the arm that he couldn't help but notice it. Just as he took a note of the arm, the beast lowered its head as quick as possible once Phineas was within its range.

BONK

Phineas was hit at the top of his head with the beast's horn. He was hurled to the sands below and bounced off of the sand. While he was in the air he tried to maneuver himself to face the beast again, but the beast was already on to its next attack. It charged forward, lowering its head to pierce Phineas through his right shoulder. "YEEEEEEOOOOWAH," the sheer screech that was emitted from Phineas shook the very desert like an earthquake. It thawed the fourth man out of his fearful state, he picked up the sword and valiantly rushed at the beast. And it was even heard by Yosef who was quite the distance away from the fighting.

He was crouched over forcing his qi to rush towards his wounded shoulder. As he healed and heard the cries from Phineas, he immediately got up and began his 2 second charge-up. He first calmed himself, his shoulder wasn't completely healed, but it was enough to ignore the slight pain that remained. He swung his arm back, and took a sharp inhale before small explosions began appearing at his palm.

The fourth man, rushed up to the beast and swung at its hard shell.

TWING

The sword vibrated, causing the beast to let out another wave of qi. It noticed the man, then threw Phineas to the side. Blood gushed out of the Phineas' wounds, as his mind's eye flooded with memories of his worst day ever, dying in a pool of his own blood. The same thoughts rushed in his mind, "Am I going to die? I don't want to die! I smell blood, it smells so ugly!" He could hear his own heart beat against his chest, each beat shooting out a slow moving wave that brushed over the area around him. He shivered as he looked at the beast and the man.

Each wave sending back images of a harrowing scene. The first image that returned was of the beast lifting itself up, and the man cowering with his sword held high into the air. The second image of the beast falling down toward the man. The third image of the man gripping his sword and lunging forward. The fourth image of the beast bending itself over and opening its mouth. The fifth and final image was of the beast biting the man, throwing him up to the sky so high that he gracefully kisses the moon. The next image was pure imagination from Phineas, but from the trajectory of the man, and the actions of the beast. He could only imagine that the beast ate the man.

CRUNCH!

Watching the Harry Potter series for the first time, I'm on Prisoner of Azkaban. I kind of like it so far. Even though the first movie had Dumbledore giving Mickey Mouse points to Gryffindor, Slytheran should have won. - CarltonThe Wizard.
