The All-Seer

Phineas' face glowed up, as he managed to see a slow moving wave brush over a small area around. It resembled vibrations as he saw the wave bounce off of his chest and his fist, to then his body twice over. As he looked at his hands he saw a defined shape of all 5 of his fingers and palms, details were void, which only slightly upset Phineas. Nonetheless he smiled, "I can see without seeing. With this I will surely be able to see my father soon."

Just as that thought crossed Phineas' mind, he felt the air around him slightly getting hotter. He looked up to see Yosef's flow of qi rush back into his body as he came to a stop in front of Phineas. Phineas noticed a small flux in Yosef's qi as he started talking to him in a calm voice, "Why run away, especially when a monster is this close to us."

"I heard someone cry for help. I was going to help them," Phineas said.

Yosef's qi calmed down, "Alright. Where were they? We will help them quickly."

Phineas looked in the direction where the cries of help were heard. His mind's eye quickly filled with the cries that he heard. "Help me! A beast has my-" he thought and as though he himself was the harbinger of the cries of help, he heard the same cry from the north.

"Help me! A beast has my wife," the masculine voice shrieked as it sounded as though someone was ripping it's throat home apart.

Phineas' invisible eyes jerked toward the origin of the cry and pointed his finger in the direction. Yosef nodded and grabbed Phineas (much like how he had earlier on the camel), then he threw his arm back (same arm he used to hold the reins of the camel) and started redirecting his qi to that hand. His qi burst out of his body in small explosions, before releasing a massive eruption of flames to propel himself and Phineas in the direction Phineas had pointed to.

Almost around the same time, the beast that had begun leaping at Sir Keith had soared high over him and the camels. Sand fell on the camels and men who watched with relief. The beast's belly was exposed to the men, it pulsed with a purple glow that seemed to blind the men who looked up at it. They all followed it with their head moving with their eyes, it landed a few meters away from Phineas and Yosef.

Once it landed the sands below it flew up in the sky to gracefully kiss the moon. Yosef ignored the veil of dust that blocked his path as his qi was about to explode forward. It would take 2 seconds for him to propel himself, but the beast was already on the move. Using the momentum from leaping, the beast dashed its way to Yosef, right before Yosef could launch himself and Phineas the beast' horn pierced through Yosef's shoulder.

He grimaced at the pain, but still launched himself sloppily, the explosion blew off half of the beast's horn. However as he was getting launched forward his grip on Phineas loosened, and the force behind the horn had turned his body and mostly arm to the side. Causing Phineas to slip out of Yosef's hands and into the sands below.

Meanwhile, the men began sheathing their swords. "What are you doing," Sir Keith asked grinding his teeth, "The beast is not slain after it now," he screamed as the wordless men nodded their heads and ran toward the beast. As Sir Keith watched the men run past the camels, he fell to his knees and sighed. "On the most high I was not prepared to see such foul of a beast. Rank Osiris I am, but below average Set. Where is Yosef, he must help us, this beast at least has to be ranked Osiris," Sir Keith had softly spoken to his own mind's eye.

He stared at his trembling hands, "Not now Keith. Get up, you are a cultivator," he told himself while Phineas spun around in the air.

He grew dizzy in the air and lost his sense of direction, he couldn't see a thing save for a few streaks of white and blue that must have been the qi of the beast. Once he landed his vision returned to normal almost instantly, he still retained the headache from being dizzy however. His eyes jerked around as he tried to get a grasp of his situation.

"Alright. The creepy Geb knight seemed to go pretty far. I heard something get pierced- goodness, the sounds of meat getting ripped apart- get rid of that image, Phineas. Look around you. You've had headaches before, just because you're suffering doesn't mean someone else is."

A monstrous roar interrupted Phineas, both of his eyes immediately looked toward the direction. His jaw dropped as he noticed that the beast had come so close that he could reach out and touch its horn. Its horn was regenerating slowly, Phineas could not see it reassembling itself, but he could see the beast' qi reverse its natural flow and go in the direction of where the horn should be.

If Phineas could see the beast he would describe it as the most hideous creature (not as ugly as his bullies, he would most likely comment), nonetheless he stood up against it. The flow of qi grew a horn-like object on the head of the beast. Phineas considered it a clock, the moment that horn grew back, he knew the beast would attack.

And so, Phineas lifted his arms to his face, assuming a blocking stance, before quickly switching over to a combat stance. He put his fists to his chin, slouched over slightly to cover his stomach with his arm. He placed his right foot back, his left foot in front of him, he then bent his knees ever so slightly. He closed his eyes, and cleared his mind.

"You've taken a hit before, this beast is no better than those bullies. It's huge and kind of resembles the anatomy of a beetle. If it's a beetle then I have to attack his belly, most beetles have no armor, if not weaker armor on their bellies. I can just barely make out its head, I could possibly aim there. No, I have to go for the kill. I shouldn't pull my punches, the bullies would just hit harder if I did. Get rid of those images. NO! I must keep them in mind. You've seen how qi flows when that Geb knight causes explosions. Just copy him, just force your qi to flow to your hand. I'm only rank Offspring, my Set is terrible, but nonetheless."

Phineas opened his eyes, the horn had been completely healed and the beast had backed up to start marching towards him. Phineas dragged his left feet across the sands to turn his body to the side. He took his right hand and slammed it into his chest. A slow moving wave of qi collided with the beast and returned to Phineas, it was merely a meter away and moving fast. He ducked under the horn that nearly pierced him, slid to the right, took 3 steps forward and launched a punch with his left fist directly in the beast's eye. Which Phineas assumed would be directly next to the base of the horn.

He heard the beast cry out and saw it open its mouth. He took a step back and as he did he looked in and saw an arm protruding out from its throat. He was shocked as the arm was in full color, the familiar skin tone of the natives to his village.
