Previously On Percy Jackson: Tales Of Dunamis;

. . .

"So we go down to Tartarus, and we bring back the Cyclopes and Hundred-Handed ones," Hades said.

"Don't forget kicking some monster ass," Poseidon added.

"Tartarus here we come" shouted Zeus.

'How am I stuck with such frivolous brothers' Dunamis thought to himself.

. . .

A Tartarus Jailbreak may not sound like an easy thing for you and me, but seven gods can accomplish many amazing things if they put their minds to it. Hades found a cave system that led deep into the Underworld. He seemed to have a knack for navigating the tunnels. He led his siblings along the course of a subterranean river called the Styx until it spilt over a cliff into the void of Tartarus.

The gods, who had already managed to master their size and shape-shifting abilities, turned into bats and flew into the abyss, sailing through nothingness.

At the bottom, they found a gloomy landscape of rock and spires, grey wastes, fiery pits and poisonous fog, with all sorts of nasty monsters and evil spirits roaming around, none of which managed to stop the gods in their advance towards the prison of Tartarus. Each monster was met with the unstoppable force of the four brothers.

They battled many of the most vicious monsters that Tartarus had to offer. Sirens came for them first their entrancing figures capturing Zeus and Poseidon off guard, too bad they didn't see Hera and Demeter coming. Ahah kinda feel bad for them it's safe to say they'll be reforming for a while.

Then came the Dracaena, these were much harder to dispose of due to her reptilian half wreaking havoc. They sprouted venom from their mouths powerful enough to immobilise the gods for a second or two however when Dunamis realised he could control venom, as it too, was a liquid substance. Controlling the venom and forcing it into their hearts left them vulnerable to an onslaught of barrages led by Zeus, Poseidon and Hades

In no time the group of gods found the maximum-security zone, surrounded by a high brass wall and patrolled by demons.

"Bat forms," Dunamis demanded.

The group complied as they flew over the walls and sailed into the maximum security cells. When they found their uncles they were happy as well as disturbed by their ugly appearances.

A loud sound of iron meeting flesh resounded throughout Tartarus

"Hurry up slave," A deep monstrous voice boomed.

When the gods saw who the voice belonged to they faltered and almost lost their nerve.

. . .

Kronos had personally hired the most horrible monster in Tartarus to ensure that his high-value prisoners stayed locked up behind bars, so they could never escape.

Her name was Kampe.

. . .

I don't know if Kronos found her on craigslist or what, but if the worst creatures in your nightmares had nightmares of their own they would probably dream about Kampe, not even Dunamis was too sure about their odds. Kampe was strong enough to give the strongest Titans a run for their money.

From the waist up, she was a humanoid female with snakes for hair. From the waist down she was a four-legged dragon. Thousands of vipers sprouted from her legs like grass skirts. Her waist was decorated with the heads of fifty hideous beasts - Bears, Boars, Wombats, you name it - always snapping and snarling and trying to eat Kampe's shirt. Large dark reptilian wings grew from her shoulder blades. Her scorpion-like tail swished back and forth, dripping venom.

Basically, it was safe to assume that Kampe didn't go on too many dates.

The gods watched from behind a boulder as the jailer trudged back and forth, lashing the Elder Cyclopes with a fiery whip and stinging the one Hundred-Handed ones with their scorpion tail whenever they walked out of line.

The poor prisoners were forced to work without any break - no water, no sleep, no food, nothing. The Hundred-Handed Ones spent their time at the far end of the yard, quarrying stone blocks from the hard volcanic floor. The Elder Cyclopes worked at the closer end, They each had a forge where they smelted metals and hammered out sheets of bronze and iron. If the Cyclopes tried to sit down, or even pause long enough to catch their breaths, Kampe would leave fresh burning lash marks across their backs.

Even worse, the prisoners weren't allowed to finish anything they started. As soon as the Hundred-Handed Ones had a goodly stack of building blocks, Kampe forced them to break the quarried stone into rubble. whenever the Cyclopes were on the verge of completing a weapon or a shield or even a tool that could be used to break out, Kampe confiscated it and threw it into the bubbling pits of magma.

You're probably thinking 'but hey there were six really big and powerful dudes and only one girl, why didn't they overpower her?'

But Kampe had the whip. The venom in her tail could incapacitate even an Elder Cyclopes for hours on end, leaving him writhing in pain. The dragon lady was straight-up terrifying, and the prisoners had shackles chained to their feet, leaving them unable to run far enough to escape.

besides, the Hundred-Handed Ones and Elder Cyclopes were gentle souls. Despite their looks, they were builders, not fighters. Give these lads a bucket of lego and a slab of iron and they'd be happy for days.

Dunamis and company waited until Kampe marched to the far end of the yard, inspecting the Hundred-Handed Ones.

"Pssst" Zeus whispered trying to gain the attention of one of the Elder Cycplopes.

The massive Cyclopes lowered his hammer and turned his head towards Zeus, But his one big eye had been staring into the flames for so long he was unable to see who was talking.

"I am not Psst," The Cyclopes said in a rough voice. "I am Brontes."

Oh boy, Dunamis thought. This might take a while.

"Hey Brontes," Demeter took over speaking slowly and cheerfully, like she was trying to coax a puppy out of its box. "My name is Demeter and I'm here to rescue you."

Brontes scowled. "I've heard that before. Kronos tricked us, used us and then threw us away like common waste whose to say you won't do the same," Clearly he was still upset with the betrayal of his former leader.

Dunamis wanting to finish this before the viper lady comes back interrupted.

"Dunamis here," He started. "Listen were all children of Kronos and he betrayed us too just like you. We want nothing more than to rid his dirty essence on the world. However, we need your help to do that, what do you say?"

Brontes was confused at first but when he realized that they were just like him he started to contemplate the idea.

'Well I'm down here already I might as well give it a short nothing could get worse.' The brute thought.

"I will help you, but how?" He asked.

"Weapons lots of them, can you forge us some?" Poseidon asked.

The cyclopes shook his head "Kampe is always watching us it would be too hard."

Suddenly, Dunamis had a light bulb moment. "How about each of you make a different part of the weapon then at the last moment you can assemble them and throw them to us Kampe won't know what hit her."

The jaw of the Cyclopes dropped. "That's an amazing plan."

"Yeah, Yeah I could have made the same plan if I wanted, which I didn't. Anyways spread the word to your brothers."

Dunamis sighed with disapproval whilst the Elder Cyclopes nodded.

Brontes whispered the plan to his brothers Arges and Steropes. Then they tapped their hammers on their anvils in a secret code they'd developed, sending the message across the yard to the Hundred-Handed Ones - Biares, Kottos and Gyes.

Amazing names I know right. Well cut Gaia some slack after all, she could only hold them for a few minutes before Ouranos cast them to Tartarus.
