After a month of Alice's assault on Outlaw city, the revenger found himself lost in the Demon king's territory.
Outlaw city and The Demon King's territory are close to each other but still not part of the kingdom of demons. As people may believe, Outlaw city is not about a place where disobeying the law is commonplace. It was a title given by the people influenced by the church.
Alice saw this chance and used it as a testing place for her new Magic cannons.
And there lies a man deprived and desiring food.
Every waking moment, his hunger woke him up. Scraps or rotten food is the only way he could live another day. His body significantly weakened but his lust for revenge fuels him to go further.
He wakes up and traverses further in the forest, seeking better food to eat.
As the sun sets and sunlight leaves the planet, a group of demon hunters roams around the forest. It was unlikely for a human to be in the Demon king's territory but either way, they were hunting demons for profit.
He is a demon himself, a "Good" one in every sense of the word.
In the shadows of the forest, an arrow flew with unrivaled skill in archery.
It pierced behind his shoulders. Immense pain felt through his body. Unlike his past life as a citizen of Outlaw city.
He runs with the energy he has left, his heart racing and beats more than it should, slowly losing vision and mobility.
The other demon hunters chase him through the forest.
Slowly losing his stamina, he decides to hide into the trees to catch his breath. With the distance he traveled and the darkness covering his figure. He's sure to lose track of him.
The demon hunters tried to find him with difficulty and were fully alert. He covers his mouth and stiffens his body to prevent the sound of his movement.
One wrong move and he's dead.

The hunters gave up after hunting him and left presumably.
He slowly gets out of the bush and scans his surroundings. He saw no one and he was relieved.
Until he looked above.
A girl with a clear smile of death. He was devastated and lost hope of survival.
[Girl: Found ya.]
She cocks her gun and points it at his head.
[Girl: Easy money.]
She pulled the trigger and the bullet was sent flying into and through his skull. In his last moments, he saw nothing.
Why is the world so cruel?
Why am I the only one left to live?
I must have my revenge.
If nothing else.
I am willing to sacrifice anything. My life, my body, for my vengeance.
[????: Vengeance you say?]
Inside the void of his mind. a deep voice that mimicked the abyss, speaks to him.
[????: You say that you are willing to do anything for vengeance?]
[????: With every bone of my body, I am willing to pay the price.]
[????: Let's make a contract. Until your timely death, I will serve you with unyielding fidelity.]
He opens his palms to him
[????: I accept.]
They shook hands, and the contract was made.
[????: Say your name. Shout It To The World!]
[????: I AM!]

His vision lightens and sees that his killer is leaving.
Heavy and dense amounts of magic are being manipulated into a single point.
Not only that but its nature is so sinister that one can mistake that it's a representation of one's emotions.
His body slowly lifts up as if he was possessed and ironically, he is.
He shouts his name with all his might.
[????: I AM MUTO!]
A surge of magical energy burst like a pillar piercing the heavens.
The girl that shot Muto saw this and went to check it out.
She saw that the same person who is supposedly dead is being lifted up in the air with vast amounts of magic being gathered.
The girl shoots him again. The immense and condensed magical energy that was being gathered, protected him by reflecting the bullet in another direction.
The girl sees Muto skull being repaired and healed, at the same time the bullet is being taken out of his head.
The torrent of magical energy finally dissipates and the pillar that pierced the heavens finally disappeared. Muto stopped floating from the air and stood up without any action.
Until the girl shot him again.
Muto vanishes from her sight.
Her back shoulder was pierced by his hand. The hole he made was so large that it tore off her arm. The other demon hunters arrived late and saw their teammate was on the ground with a missing arm.
[Hunter: You Bastard!]
Those few words.
"You Bastard!"
It angered him deeply. One can feel the same way.
[Muto: Bastard? I Should Say The Same For You!]
Muto swung his arm towards the hunter who was charging at him.
In a flash, the hunter became the hunted.
The hunter's waist down to the feet is lacerated. Grass, trees, and the mountain were cut like it was nothing. Muto's hand is seething out using dark magical energy and his eyes are full of life.
The hunter's scream from pain echoed through the night.
The rest of the hunting group ran for their lives. They were unfortunately unsuccessful.
Muto closed the distance with mere speed and slashed through them like butter. The tree that he unintentionally hit was slashed with absurd sharpness that you can't feel any texture.
He looks down at the corpse with unwavering disgust towards it.
[Muto: I don't feel hungry anymore.]
[????: Find the handle of the incomplete sword at the Demon king's castle.]
[Muto: Why? Who and what are you?]
[Evangel: The Archaic sword Evangel.]

Alice got good news and bad news from the scientists.
[Scientist: We Have Very Good News About The Prototype Anti Magic Field! We officially multiplied the range of the field and effectiveness by 1000%¹⁰ but....]
[Alice: But what?]
[Scientist: We need an impossible amount of Magical energy, we already expended most of our Mana stones.]
[Alice: But there is one Magic stone untouched.]
[Scientist: Where Lady Alice?]
She points up to the sky with a very sinister smile
[Alice: The Magic stone used to lift up Trauzagaien.]
[Scientist: My God! The Magicis Saxum.]
