Path To Supremacy

Jin was born different from others with mysterious markings all over his body along with a higher level of intelligence compared to a normal child, though that did not stop him from trying to live a happy life with his loving parents. Sadly for him, because of his title as the monstrosity, the never before seen genius, his parent were killed right in front of his eyes and he also would have died if not for the mysterious awakening of his system. . . . Please read the tags, the mc isn't a kind-hearted person nor is he even the average anti-hero. He is evil, so please don't bother commenting about how evil the mc is unless you like it. . . . . Also, the story wouldn't focus much on the romance that would be coming very late into the novel so don't expect it to do anything to the plot like softening the heart of the mc.

The Sword

"Oh, Great Grandfather, I require the toilet. I hope you wouldn't mind the slight pause in our travel." Fatty said to Jin, who was still sitting in a lotus position.

Lightly nodding his head, Jin merely gazed outside the glass window of the carriage as he started to whistle.

Seeing how lax Jin was, caused fatty to reveal an even more dangerous light in his eye.

'It seems that it matters not how strong or talented one is. If one does not have a working brain or is similar to this little kid and is unaware of how the world works, one is bound to die early.'

The fatty thought in his mind as he hurriedly stopped his laughter.

Creak!

Fatty then opened the door and stepped outside as he then entered the forestry that surrounded either side of the dirt pathway.

Inside the golden carriage with which Jin resided, one could view two middle-aged guards sitting on top of a red-colored seat looking dangerously at Jin.

Well, saying that they gazed at Jin sitting a couple of feet away from them would be a lie as their attention was rapt on the shimmering golden core that Jin took out as he then swallowed it.

Closing his blindfolded eyes, Jin started to absorb the energy contained in the core without the slightest bit of care even though the two guards were still next to him.

(30 Mins Later)

AAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Jin, who had just finished absorbing his 14th core, heard the scream of fatty. The bellow came from the forestry area a few tens of meters, away from the carriage.

Jin had a fair idea of what was going on and what was about to happen, which made him reveal a light smile.

Dashing out of the carriage doors were the guards with faces filled with concern as Jin nodded his head in reverence for their Oscar-winning acting skills.

As he watched the darkness outside of the carriage, Jin also flashed out of the doors as he followed the guards into the forest, leaving the carriage man by himself.

Seeing this, the carriage man instantly breathed a sigh as he realized that the smell of death that reeked off of Jin had finally disappeared.

He then bitterly thought with a smile that was not a smile, 'Ha...there goes my money.' As right after, he took out a straw hat from seemingly nowhere and rested it over his head. Lying down on his seating and locking out the surrounding noises, he prepared to take a nap, patiently waiting for his soon-to-be new 'master'.

Appearing in the forest, right behind the guards of the fatty, Jin watched on as multiple figures close to a hundred or so people surrounded them.

Stopping in his tracks, Jin startled the guards as they thought he was about to try and escape, but what he said next startled everyone present.

"I thought you had an iron will when you screamed so loudly while having a shit! But it seems like you weren't shitting at all."

Jin let out as his voice traveled to the ears of every being present as some even tried but failed to hide their laughter as they thought the kid they came here to kill was too innocent and cute.

None of them thought that Jin knew what he was saying, especially since he had the appearance of a five-year-old child.

But, the fatty did not take kindly to Jin's words as he immediately walked up to the front of Jin.

"Little kid, it seems you are not aware of what kind of situation you are currently in." Fatty said in an arrogant tone as he then continued.

"If you grovel under my foot, call me daddy, give me those golden balls and your space ring, then I am willing to leave you alive with a mere broken arm."

Boom!!!

Bam!!!

The fatty expected Jin to start quivering, but, contrary to his expectations, Jin pounced on him before anyone could react and punched him right in the jaw.

The fatty's body then blasted away into a nearby tree. Everyone, including the guards, was left in a temporarily shocked state.

Feeling with his Soul Sense the hundred or so beings who surrounded him, Jin's mind worked on overdrive as he did not think the fatty would get so many people.

'Yeah, maybe around ten or even twenty, but what the fuck...isn't over a hundred people just to kill me kind of overkill?' Jin thought. He then focused on his current situation, making him arrive at only one conclusion.

Jin instantaneously connected to his system. He decided that it was time to buy a lifelong partner.

'Little system, how much would it cost to make me a weapon that will become stronger, the stronger I am and at the same time, survive the abilities of my bloodline when I use them?'

Ever since his previous sword broke after a mere two months. He knew that an ordinary weapon would be unable to survive most of his bloodline abilities like corruption and decay.

But, the reply from his system nearly made him faint.

-Ding

[On ordinary occasions, the cost of the weapon would be 1,000,000,000,000 marks of reality since abilities such as corruption would destroy any weapon, especially after your abilities improve in the future. Of course, the system can create a weapon that you can get right now but the lower the cost, the more defects it will come with.

The system will try and bend the rules so that the defect would not be able to affect 'you' and only you. But, with a 'budget' of a mere 90 or so marks of reality, the weapon is bound to come with defects that might eventually be able to harm the master.]

Without thinking further, even if there's a possibility he gets a weapon that he'll not be able to control, Jin immediately agreed to the system's suggestion. Immediately after Jin accepted the conditions,

"Hehehehehehe"

A burst of eerie laughter resounded in the surroundings. Jin watched as his hands suddenly let out a blood-red smoke that permeated the air. Appearing in the palm of Jin's hand was a two-meter long scabbard with a sword sheathed in it.

The red-colored scabbard had golden patterns on it which palpated with an ancient feeling, as what one could make out of the blade was a silver-colored pummel and a red gem embedded in it. It had a black-colored grip that had beautiful blood-red jewels rooted into it.

Not someone to waste time, and knowing full well that his enemies were only momentarily in a state of shock, Jin immediately unsheathed the sword, which revealed to the world a long black blade and a curved edge. On the fuller of the sword, there were blood-red markings that seemed to form ancient-looking letters.

UGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

As soon as Jin unsheathed it from the scabbard, the two-meter-long blade let out a loud and villainous groan that resounded throughout the continent.

Suddenly, right after the loud groan from the sword, Jin's pupils became all-black as he now had no colors in his eyes besides an abyss-like black.

-Ding

[Warning- The architecture of the system has warned the master that with the continuous use of this sword, eventually losing oneself in madness and slaughter is not impossible.]
