A Destroyed Heart

The faces of multiple men that the fatty brought immediately entered that of fear as inside of them, deep in their souls, a terror gripped their hearts. A primordial fear that froze their blood suddenly appeared as the surroundings turned into a misty blood-red air.

The metallic smell of blood entered their noses. They watched on with apprehension towards the being that was the cause of this.

"Hehehe!!!!"

Jin, who had at this moment completely lost his mind, abruptly started laughing in a childish but creepy voice. It wasn't his usual emotionless voice, nor was it his evil voice that comes out whenever he kills. Right now, it was a scary and freaky voice that could send shivers up the spine of anyone.

"W-what are you doing just standing up here...go and kill that monster right now!!!!" The voice of an angry fatty roared in the background. The slightly less than one-hundred beings who surrounded Jin immediately inhaled a breath of fresh air to calm their nerves and instantaneously dived toward him.

Tilting his head in confusion, Jin gazed with his blindfold on as he immediately ripped it off with his free left hand while tightening the grip of his sword.

"Let's...use...my...eyes!!!" The broken sentences of Jin rung out in the surroundings as his creepy voice caused cold sweat to drip from the fore-heads of the beings who had yet to reach Jin's body.

Suddenly, veins appeared around Jin's eyes as the red in Jin's eyes instantly came back.

'Wow, I almost lost to the madness...thankfully, I am immune to attacks on the mind.'

While having those thoughts, Jin realized that he could see everything around him, including behind his neck. He also realized that the speed at which his enemies came at him was a bit slow.

As soon as he realized that, he also felt the strength in his body sky-rocket. Jin was not only able to perceive his surroundings at extreme speeds, but he was now able to move at the same rate his body could perceive his surroundings. Which on other occasions or for most races should not be possible.

"Hehehe!!!!!" Jin laughed evilly as he then flashed toward one of his incoming attackers and vertically slashed at the attacker with his blade that was previously resting on his shoulder.

Though surprised by the speed of Jin, he was still a trained being, and relying on pure instinct since Jin's movements were too fast, he used his gauntlets to parry Jin's attack.

Well, at least that was how it was supposed to be. Right after making contact with Jin's sword, as if a magnet, he was unable to remove his hands from the connection between Jin's sword and him.

It felt as if his blood was trying to rush out of his body and enter the sword as he had zero control over his hands.

Crack!!!

Puchi!!!

His hands twisted in impossible directions as his blood, bones, and flesh was forcefully ripped out of his skin by the immense suction force of the sword Jin wielded.

AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!

A blood-curling scream resounded in the forest as the being who was previously on the receiving end of Jin's attack fell to his knees with his hands right in front of his bloodshot eyes as he was seemingly unable to believe what happened.

Slash!!!

Puchi!!!

Splatter!!!

Seeing the assassin's agony and suffering, Jin couldn't help but release a wicked smile as he then went on to slice the head of the man's neck as blood sprang out like a fountain and splattered onto the ground. But, by the time the blood reached the dirt ground, Jin was already in front of his next opponent.

Peng!!!

Jin's sword then connected with the massive two-meter bronze-colored hammer of a burly-looking man with a bald head. As soon as Jin and his bald opponent's attack met, Jin tilted his head to the right as he evaded a spear that tried to penetrate the back of his head.

Uggghhh!!

Instead, the spear ended up penetrating the right thigh of the bald man making him let out a groan from the pain.

One must understand that Jin was already a difficult target for these trained assassins because of his tiny five-year-old body. But now that he saw all around him, he was on a completely different level than previously.

"Corruption..."

The evil voice of Jin softly rang out as a reddish-black aura covered the already black and red blade, making it even more evil-looking.

Jin's sword easily sliced through the hammer of the burly man in front of him as he chopped his head off before any of the surrounding beings could react.

But, he did not finish there as with the same swinging motion, he attacked the being behind him using a flexible and clockwise turn of his hips.

Slash!!!

Puchi!!!

The sound of the wind and organisms splitting apart resounded throughout the surroundings as Jin's sword then sliced off the upper body of his female opponent behind him.

Swoosh!!!

Swoosh!!!

With a duck of the head and a roll over the ground, Jin easily evaded two arrows that came into his vision as he then placed his long katana behind his back which resulted in a block of what seemed to be a sneak attack.

"Hahaha...do you think by sneaking up on me, you'll get an attack in?"

Though Jin seemed to have regained his consciousness, his creepy voice was still present as it sent shivers up the spines of those present. He then sent a back kick to the opponent behind him, sending him straight into a tree which destroyed it in the process.

While that happened, three sets of Golden shimmering balls of light entered Jin's chest as he then went on to smile even more wickedly.

'Let's try this!!!'

Jin suddenly thought of something that went on to startle the beings attacking him. Instantly, Jin's body and his sword seemed to have disappeared from the view of the enemies surrounding him as he then thought.

'Haha, this 'stealth' skill sure is useful...'

Slice!!!

Splurt!!!

With one slice, his head was severed, and blood gushed out of his neck and into his surroundings.

What made Jin smile, even more, was the fact that his drops seemed to also contain the stealth ability as they weren't shining, nor was it even seen by anyone besides Jin himself.

But, as soon as everything was going as planned,

Splurt!!!

Uggghhhh!!!!

Jin let out a pained groan, instantly looking down, a trident penetrated his chest. In the process, his heart was squished to nothing but a bloody and veiny black juice.

Thud!!!

He dropped to his knees as his left hand covered the penetrated area while his right hand still held his sword.

"Hahaha, it seems that even if you are a monster, you can still feel pain!!!" A man who looked around forty and had a head full of spiky black hair with a body bursting with muscles and multiple scars shouted toward Jin with a voice filled with arrogance.

As soon as he said that, tens of assassins appeared behind him.

"You foolish child, did you not know that we all are beings in the Soul Forging realm. I am not sure if you fought a few beasts which made you think that you were invincible. Did you not know beasts are both idiotic and weaker than average creatures. I simply sent out my Soul Sense and easily sensed your movements." His deep and arrogant voice resounded in his surroundings as he had a cocky smile plastered on his face.
