Path To Supremacy

Jin was born different from others with mysterious markings all over his body along with a higher level of intelligence compared to a normal child, though that did not stop him from trying to live a happy life with his loving parents. Sadly for him, because of his title as the monstrosity, the never before seen genius, his parent were killed right in front of his eyes and he also would have died if not for the mysterious awakening of his system. . . . Please read the tags, the mc isn't a kind-hearted person nor is he even the average anti-hero. He is evil, so please don't bother commenting about how evil the mc is unless you like it. . . . . Also, the story wouldn't focus much on the romance that would be coming very late into the novel so don't expect it to do anything to the plot like softening the heart of the mc.

No Need To Rush

A Few Seconds Ago.

While flying high in the starry sky, focused on the dirt road was the gaze of Jin as he captured the sight of a group of horses pulling a golden carriage.

Jin nodded his head in satisfaction as he realized that they were also heading in the exact direction as the Chthonic Sect. He then descended downwards, elegantly landing on the sandy ground.

A few tens of meters away from him was a carriage led by a group of horses adorned with intricately designed clothes.

The same situation played out with the guards becoming angry with the poor old man. The carriage doors were suddenly opened, revealing a plump and round fat male who looked to be in his late teens.

This fatty wore a golden robe and multiple gold rings on his thick fingers. He suddenly looked in Jin's direction and said.

"It seems that you do not know the immensity of heaven and earth!!" Fatty said as he then walked up to Jin with an arrogant expression.

Jin only sighed when seeing the arrogant expression on the fatty's face. He then transformed his upper body and showcased his veiny and demonic red-colored markings to the fatty.

Instantly, the arrogance on the faces of the fatty and his guards disappeared, immediately covered with seriousness.

They knew very well what these markings on the chest meant. They also knew what the spaces between each of the markings meant.

Being people from a slightly well-known family, they knew the kid...No, the creature in front of them was a Demonic Cultivator and not just any, but a Demonic Soldier at that.

"Oh, Great Grandfather, please forgive my rudeness. It seems that I have eyes but failed to see Mt. Tai." The embarrassed fatty said as he and his guards bowed towards Jin, showcasing their sincerity.

Jin merely nodded before saying. "It seems that you and I are heading in the same direction. I will hitch a ride in your carriage. I hope you don't have a problem, right?"

Though Jin had his blindfold on, he was somehow able to watch as the fatty nodded his head like a woodpecker.

Inside the carriage was a space of around seven meters which was enough room for Jin and the fatty, along with his guards, to sit comfortably.

Once focused, Jin opened his palm as a golden shimmering sphere-like object appeared in it.

Yes, the core of a beast appeared in his hand, startling not only the guards but also fatty.

Not sure what it was, fatty and his guards merely observed curiously, but feeling the immensely pure energy oozing out of it and the fact that it seemed to be an absorbable item since Jin threw it in his mouth, a dangerous light momentarily entered their eyes.

Inside the never-ending land located inside Jin's middle dantian, one can see a constant stream of golden-colored energy entering the head of the black-colored baby floating mid-air in the middle of the seemingly never-ending land.

As you've probably guessed, this baby was Jin's Nascent Soul. To understand what was happening, one must first understand how a being in the Energy Creating realm increases their strength.

Energy Creating Realm is a realm in which, after the birth of the Nascent Soul, a cultivator must now focus on the said Nascent Soul. Creatures like Jin are immensely unlucky and at the same time lucky since they are bound to be multiple times more powerful than others of the same realm.

Why, well, it's because of the simple fact that the larger the space inside of your middle dantian is, the more condensed your energy will be when it transforms into Soul Energy.

To improve your ranks in the Nascent Soul realm, one must absorb the energies in their surroundings into their Nascent Soul. The Nascent Soul would then transform that energy into Soul Energy, with which it will create what one can call a domain inside of the middle dantian.

Inside of this Domain, one will be invulnerable to most soul attacks. Of course, if the difference is massive, one's soul would be destroyed by the soul attack from a being in a higher realm than him.

Anyway, the largeness of a domain is very important. Not only will you be invulnerable to soul attacks inside of your middle dantian, but you'll also be able to have what one can call a Soul Sense outside your body.

You'll be able to sense most things once it is in a radius ten times smaller than your Domain located in your middle dantian. For example, if the Domain inside of your dantian is 100 meters in radius, then in the outside world, you'll be able to sense most things in a 10-meter radius.

To reach the peak of the Energy Creating realm, your Domain will have to be able to cover the entire space inside of your dantian.

This also brings me back to what I said first. Beings like Jin, who have large spaces inside their middle dantian, will have an extremely expansive Soul Sense, but it would also take longer to reach the peak o the Energy Creating Realm.

Of course, this also means that once they reach the Soul Forging realm and transform the energy inside of their domain into Soul Energy, then the Soul Energy would be unparalleled compared to others of the Soul Forging realm.

Anyway, Jin, who has been absorbing the cores since entering the carriage realized that it did not matter whether it was Soul Forging cores, Soul Transformation cores, or Soul and Body Union cores every single one of them took 5 minutes for him to completely absorb.

'A Soul Forging beast core enlarges my Domain by 100 meters while a Soul Transformation beast core enlarges it by 1000 meters. Since the Soul and Body Union cores enlarge my Domain by 10,000 meters...I wonder if I take 10 of those cores simultaneously, what would happen. Would my Nascent Soul be able to handle the abrupt increase in energy? Or would I immediately enter the second level of the Energy Creating realm?

I guess I will think about it later.'

Thinking this, Jin took out the ninth core since entering the carriage, but as he was about to absorb it...he realized that the movements of the carriage had ceased.

Instantly, an evil smile appeared on Jin's face, causing him to conceal it as soon as it appeared.

'Unlike some people who have a cheat but fail to use it properly. I will take full advantage of the reality-bending ability of the skill called 'Drop'

Even though I have enough cores to reach the Soul Forging realm, and probably even the Soul Transformation realm, a few more would never hurt anyone.

Though I said I'll be taking full advantage of this skill, I still would not risk my life to claim cores. I am not going to threaten my life in order to raise my strength quickly. Speaking of quickly elevating one's strength, no one needs to hurriedly do such a thing in cultivation. They say cultivation is the art of slowly raising your strength, a weak foundation would ruin everything. As the saying goes, 'haste makes waste.'

Jin thought as he got ready for the play that was to come.
