The Power Of A Vampire Duke!!

"How is it possible for a Vampire Chief to be this strong!! Is that what you are thinking?" Jin's emotionless voice resounded in the throne room as the after-effects of the collision between Brown and Jin left the once beautifully designed throne room filled with skulls in destruction.

"Well there are a lot of reasons but maybe the most obvious reason would be that I am a mutated being...I guess you can place it that way." Jin stated as he took a few steps back and so did Brown.

Swoosh!!

Suddenly, around Brown's blade, what seemed to be a blood-like substance coated it as the very air which previously surrounded the blade was cut in half. Jin raised an eyebrow after seeing the sheer sharpness the blade contained as he also got ready for the next attack between them.

"Bloody Series-First Move-One Drop!!"

Jin shouted out loud and as if reacting to his shout, Jin's Sword of Slaughter lit up brightly as even more red mist permeated the air. The metallic smell of blood assaulted Brown and Seth's nose, but being Vampires, such a smell was a welcomed thing.

"Kekekekeke!!!"

A peal of weird laughter then resounded throughout the throne room as Jin's sword began releasing what seemed to be its very own killing intent. This development greatly surprised Brown as he immediately realized that this sword of his opponent most definitely isn't an ordinary treasure but a bloodthirsty one.

"It matters not, what cursed weapons you use, the disparity in realms between a Vampire Noble and a Vampire Duke is unimaginable yet, you dared to fight me while being below even the Vampire Noble rank. If this isn't courting death, then what is?" Brown said before...

Both opponents dashed towards each other simultaneously, leaving broken skulls that made up the flooring. As they were a few meters away from each other, Brown's movements abruptly halted as he jumped in the air. And with Jin's momentum taking him under Brown, he was right in Brown's range of descent as Brown shouted.

"Void Tearing Blood Slash!!!"

Immediately after, the very space was torn apart as Brown slashed downwards with his red blade.

'Hmm, is that a Zenith level technique?!!' Jin thought in shock as his blade technique made contact with Brown's technique.

Boom!!!!!

A massive explosion that destroyed the whole throne room then resounded as Jin's body was sent flying through the night sky. In the sky, Jin stood afloat as one can see a huge slash mark that started from his shoulder and went across his chest reaching to his lower body.

'Hmm, even after my level 15 reactive evolution made my body hundreds of times stronger than before the Abyssal Tribulation which took place millions of years ago, I was still so badly injured by this previous attack.'

Jin thought, and as if it heard Jin speaking absolute hearsay, the regeneration kicked in as Jin's body was immediately healed...not even one second after receiving the previous attack. One must know that when Jin's body heals, he gains slight invulnerability to an attack on the previous level which damaged his body. This was all thanks to his level 15 reactive evolution.

"Do you need help.?" Seth appeared behind Jin as he voiced out in his childish but indifferent voice. His red pupils which were surrounded by a void black iris flashed with light as his voice contained a trace of worry for Jin's well-being.

"Help? Hahaha, never have I ever received help from anyone and I plan on keeping it that way!!" Jin said with boundless arrogance as he then gestured for Seth to distance himself from the battle.

'Plus, even if I truly am in a perilous situation, I have this...' Jin thought secretly as he gazed towards the mask which was located on his chest. This secret that even Seth was unaware of was Jin's final trump card if ever he was in a situation in which death was imminent.

"Huh? It seems that you have some incredible healing factors." Brown said as he appeared in front of Jin with a pair of twenty-meter blood wings on his back.

Humph!!

"I will simply slash you into millions of pieces, we'll then see if you can heal from that." Brown said as he blasted toward Jin.

Seeing his opponent attack him, Jin did not stand still as he also blasted toward his opponent as he prepared to attack again.

"Bloody Series-Second Move-Two Drops!!"

Jin shouted out loud as he rushed towards Brown and got ready to send an even higher level of attack compared to his first one. Brown, seeing such an attack surprisingly gave Jin a cold and wicked smile as he arrogantly gazed at Jin as if he had already won.

Seeing his opponent acting like that greatly confused Jin, but he did not hesitate and instead continued with his attack...

Slash!!

As Jin was a few meters away from Brown, Jin realized that his vision suddenly turned upside down as the view of his body then came into his vision.

'Hmm, it seemed that my head has been decapitated...but how?' Jin thought as surprisingly if one was situated in the sky, they'll be able to see the headless body of Jin who had black blood spurting out of his neck.

"Haha, did you not know that when we vampires reach certain realms, we can create blood clones of ourselves. Well, I can't blame you for not knowing, I mean neither of you two is a Vampire Dukes. When a Vampire enters the vampire Duke realm and can form their blood clone, they'll realize it is not as strong as they themselves, but this level of power is still strong enough to sneak up on you and kill you." Brown's arrogant voice resounded powerfully as he truly did not see what was so special about the duo which brought destruction to a whole city of this Vampire Kingdom.

'Hehehe, with this, my ranking in nobility might just be comparable to an Arch-Duke level Vampire...' Brown thought with an arrogant smile plastered on his face.

'Now, it's time to deal with the little kid.' Brown thought as he darted his gaze towards the kid who was a few hundred meters away from his current location.

'With his older brother now dead, I wonder if he would surrender...or will I also have to kill him?' Brown thought, not entertaining the thought that Jin had somehow survived or was able to regenerate from a decapitated head as it was just not possible.

He thought that Jin would never be getting up from the crater on the ground that he formed when his body fell dead from the skies...and in a way, Brown was correct. The unmoving body of Jin would not be awakened ever again as soon after having these thoughts, he gazed with utter shock at the fact that Seth seemed to be turning into ashes.

No, it was not just Seth but in fact, the very fabrics of space were disappearing as he watched with even greater shock as his own body turned into ash.

The sound of flesh being penetrated by metal awoke Brown from his stupor as he looked toward his chest region in absolute shock and horror.

"Death Illusion, cease..."

These words drummed in his ears as he realized that his vision blurred for a millisecond as right after he found himself in a certain throne room filled with skulls and bones.
