Path To Supremacy

Jin was born different from others with mysterious markings all over his body along with a higher level of intelligence compared to a normal child, though that did not stop him from trying to live a happy life with his loving parents. Sadly for him, because of his title as the monstrosity, the never before seen genius, his parent were killed right in front of his eyes and he also would have died if not for the mysterious awakening of his system. . . . Please read the tags, the mc isn't a kind-hearted person nor is he even the average anti-hero. He is evil, so please don't bother commenting about how evil the mc is unless you like it. . . . . Also, the story wouldn't focus much on the romance that would be coming very late into the novel so don't expect it to do anything to the plot like softening the heart of the mc.

"Death Illusion, cease..."

These words drummed in his ears as he realized that his vision blurred for a millisecond as right after he found himself in a certain throne room filled with skulls and bones.

"Arrogance is something only a being which has transcended existence is allowed to have. The likes of you should not be arrogant as it will merely harm you!!" The emotionless voice of Jin entered Brown's ears as he turned around with a shocked and confused face as blood leaked from his lips uncontrollably.

"How? Is that what you want to know, you poor little thing.?!" Jin's condensing voice entered Brown's ears as he weakly shook his head. The immense pride he once had disappeared once he realized he was on death's doors as he only wanted to comprehend how he suddenly found himself in such a sorry state.

"Did you not know, ever since you entered my Domain, you were under my illusion...though it hasn't reached a level where it can kill beings in it, the level of my illusion is still able to completely override what your senses and brain perceive as real and fake. The only downside of my ability is the fact that only those who are in the same level of strength, or on a weaker level of strength compared to me, are affected by my illusion.

Knowing this, and because my skill 'Eat' has risen multiple levels, so much so that it has gained a certain important ability. I patiently waited for your arrival as I know, that once I head to any of the surrounding cities, there is a possibility that, unlike this city, I might just face an opponent who is currently too strong for me."

Jin said, his Sword of Slaughter simultaneously being twisted inside of Brown's body as the organs and tissues were ruptured and destroyed by Jin's brutal actions. All this happened while shocked to the core Brown, remained unmoving as he processed Jin's words but, Jin was not one to only give levels of shock comparable to this as he wanted to shock Brown even more as he said.

"You probably want to know the details of my new ability which came from the leveling up of the skill 'Eat', don't you? Well, even if you do not want to know, I will still tell you." Jin said with a sadistic smile as Seth listened on with interest as he sat on the throne of skulls.

Jin then continued, "After reaching a certain level, my skill 'Eat' is now able to absorb part of the strength of others and increase the level of my cultivation. Now, you probably think that it isn't that much of a strong ability since it's only part of the strength of others but, you're wrong. When stupid beings like you who are of a higher cultivation rank than me appear, by eating you guys, my cultivation rank also increases as mysteriously enough, I gain insights into my Law for Darkness."

Jin said as he watched Brown's body fall lifelessly to the ground. Bending over, Jin stretched out his hand as he then tore off Brown's arm as he got ready to have an exponential increase in his cultivation rank.

"Was all of that explaining necessary?" Seth, who sat on top of Jin's throne filled with skulls asked in confusion. His hollowed out and lifeless-looking eyes lazily gazed towards Jin who began chomping down into Brown's body as he waited for an answer.

Crack!!

With a crack of Brown's forearm bone, Jin gazed towards Seth with his blindfolded pair of eyes as he replied. "Of course it is necessary, it is to show that villains can win even if they do what seems to be cliché boss villain stuff. With absolute power, anything is possible and I am doing it to show and at the same time, warn you that no matter the circumstance, I will always end up as the winner."

Jin said as he gazed towards his mask which was embedded in his chest. Seth, on the other hand, felt a cold shiver run up his spine as he heard Jin's words. And, not wanting to feel that again, he immediately stopped mentioning Jin's previous actions as he then asked.

"So, are we staying here or leaving?" Seth asked as Jin smiled coldly before replying.

"Since our final destination is the capital of this empire, we may as well leave this city right now and build an army before attacking the Vampire Empire's Capital City. Simultaneously, our strength will also increase exponentially since you will be getting extremes amount of blood while I'll be killing numerous amounts of Vampires!!!"

So, with a plan already set, our heroes *cough*.....the slightly villainous duo of Jin and Seth braced themselves for the vast amounts of combat and slaughter they were about to face.

Two Weeks Later...

It has been two weeks since Jin and Seth left the 'City of Dead' and surprisingly, Jin was able to form another one of his 'City of Dead', leaving both the citizens of this kingdom along with this kingdom's very own King, in a state of shock.

One must know that even though the King of this Vampire Kingdom called all the beings from Ascension Lord and under 'puny'. If all of these 'puny' beings die wouldn't he be left with no one to be a Lord of one of his many cities?

Receiving the news that the fiendish brothers killed another Vampire Duke in the last city they attacked, he immediately ordered every Vampire Duke in his kingdom to form groups of five and head to every city.

One must know that he had exactly one hundred Vampire Dukes under his command, and with the death of Brown and the most recent Vampire Duke, he was left with ninety-eight, resulting in one of the twenty cities that weren't classified as a Capital city, to be protected by only three instead of five Vampire Dukes.

"Ahh, it seems that the life of a vagrant is for me..." Seth said out loud as he and Jin appeared on top of a rooftop in one of the many cities which they planned to destroy. Gazing down at the streets, it seems that this city was a lot more advanced than the previous ones as these were all a lot more technologically closer to a modern-day city.

Seth, who was once upon a time, a man of modern-day earth immediately entered a state of nostalgia as he then said something to Jin who stood next to him. Something that would scare any being of the earth which Seth was from if ever they were aware.

"Oi, maybe while traveling throughout the mortal worlds in this universe, we can visit my previous world. I can proudly say that the food on my previous planet was tens of times better than the food we currently eat..."

Hearing Seth's words, Jin, whose figure was shrouded in darkness entered under the moonlight as his face revealed a cold smile after hearing the idea of traveling through different mortal planes. More mortal planes meant more creatures, and more living beings meant more killing which in turn will raise a certain duo's cultivation.

"Yes, traveling a few mortal planes before entering the universe sounds fun!!" Jin said in a cold voice with a sadistic smirk plastered on his face.
