Path To Supremacy

Jin was born different from others with mysterious markings all over his body along with a higher level of intelligence compared to a normal child, though that did not stop him from trying to live a happy life with his loving parents. Sadly for him, because of his title as the monstrosity, the never before seen genius, his parent were killed right in front of his eyes and he also would have died if not for the mysterious awakening of his system. . . . Please read the tags, the mc isn't a kind-hearted person nor is he even the average anti-hero. He is evil, so please don't bother commenting about how evil the mc is unless you like it. . . . . Also, the story wouldn't focus much on the romance that would be coming very late into the novel so don't expect it to do anything to the plot like softening the heart of the mc.

Serpentine Forest (8)

The Heavenly Lightning that previously rained down onto the unmoving body of Jin ended. Unlike what one would expect, the beasts still had not gone near Jin as the evilness oozing out of him corrupted the very air.

But, as they were sweating buckets, they suddenly felt as if the evil aura mysteriously dispersed into the air. The two Soul and Body Union beasts also made out the body of the humanoid child seemed to be transforming into something. Something bad.

Believing in their gut feeling, they immediately dashed towards Jin's unmoving body with determination. Just as they arrived before the trench where Jin's body was, they saw the naked body of Jin as multiple new changes were taking place to his body.

Changes that made it clear that he officially could not be classified as a human.

Changes that made his body emanate with the feelings of sacredness, devilishness, unholiness, fiendishness, and absolute wickedness.

On his head, or more precisely, the left side of his head, a blackish demonic goat horn appeared. Unlike, what one would think, the horn wasn't the most striking feature on his body.

No, the most astonishing attribute of Jin's body would be the multiple red vein-like markings that were now on his chest as they all pulsed with an evil aura.

His white hair had lengthened even more as it reached to his bare feet as his nails on his fingers increased in length and turned sharper while simultaneously turning to the color black.

On his face, one can see his canines appearing through his blood-red lips as they only stopped growing after being a couple of centimeters outside of his mouth, similar to a vampire.

Seeing all of these changes were the two Soul and Body Union beasts as they waited no longer and quickly lunged forward to obliterate the body of Jin apart.

BOOM!!!

A booming sound reverberated throughout the barren lands as one could see the two beings flying out of a ditch.

Unexpectedly, the beings in the Soul and Body Union were the ones who were blown back by the mere explosion of aura from the body of Jin.

Boom!!

Suddenly, the hands of Jin pressed onto the ground as merely this action caused a mini-explosion of itself.

As his hair stood on end and a wicked-looking red aura wrapped around his body. Jin shot open his eyes, as he revealed to the world a pair of uncovered dark-red jewels.

A glimmering pair of dark-red pair of pupils surrounded by a black that seemed to eat away at the light itself is what was seen by the beasts.

ROOOOAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

A scary bellow then resounded throughout the Serpentine Forest as astoundingly, it originated from the lips of Jin.

Getting on to his feet, Jin, still semi-unconscious, looked around while walking out of the pit as he revealed his new form to the world.

Unlike when the two Soul and Body Union beast first laid their eyes on him, presently, Jin appeared to have a single two-meter long black demonic batwing on the right side of his back a whole meter or so larger than his entire body.

Jin also seemed to have a demonic-looking tail around 75 centimeters in length attached to where his tail bone was.

Lastly, his toenails, similarly to his fingernails, lengthened and turned sharper as he officially looked like the incarnation of a devilishly beautiful demon.

"Hahahaha, this...truly interesting!!!!"

Gulp!!!

Three words. It was a mere three words, yet the existences under Soul and Body Union quivered in fear involuntarily.

These three words that escaped Jin's lips, unlike his previous emotionless tone, now sounded like the epitome of evil, like the devil's whisper.

Jin's semi-unconscious self watched at the pale expressions of the beasts as he couldn't help but feel satisfied.

'Hmm.....it seems like I have turned into something else...No, it's more like, I am me but not me at the same time. I wonder how long will I be like this, or is it that I am not Jin but instead...'

Jin thought as he simultaneously searched for his blindfold as blood started trickling down the corner of his eyes. It seemed that his eyes will only be able to appear in the outside world for a short time before he'll be mysteriously injured.

'I don't know if injuring my body is better than taking away my energy, but I guess it's an improvement.'

Jin thought to himself as he appeared before his blindfold as instantly, it attached itself onto his face.

He then leisurely moved towards the direction of his sword that was embedded in the ground a few tens of meters away from him. Pulling the sword out Jin couldn't help but whisper.

"Aren't you too precious to disappear like that? I remember my other self spending a whole ten marks of reality for you."

Jin then gazed at his seemingly frozen fearful opponents and then the two Soul and Body Union beasts that seemed like his only challenge.

Remembering the last duo that he fought, Jin couldn't help but chuckle out loud as he went on to say in his evil voice.

"Come at me little shrimps, especially you two...I have experience handling two weaklings simultaneously, it also seems that a duo tends to taste way better while still being together even after death. Hehe...I guess the phrase, until death do us apart, that those mortals say, does not apply to cultivators, as they are still together in my stomach even after death."

Grrrrrrrr!!!

Gazing at the angry-looking beasts who seemed to be triggered by Jin's statement, he only licked his lips as he prepared to have a full-blown buffet.

And as if to also celebrate with him, he heard...

-Ding

[Mission- Massacre]

[Description- As the name implies, the system considers a massacre permitted if more than 100 creates killed, the more creatures killed in under two hours, the greater the reward.]

[Reward-???]

Seeing this, the now Demonic Jin gazed at the beasts with a feral and evil-looking smile that gave view to his canines as he then said...

"Right now.....let's play!!!!"

.

.

.

Puchi!!!

No one saw it...

But, right before every one of these beast shocked eyes, Jin appeared near the closest one of the beasts and his black metallic sword flashed horizontally as the whole upper half of the unsuspecting beast was detached from the rest of its body.

As the body tumbled onto the ground, the immense anger that many of the beasts previously felt towards this Demonic Jin and his arrogant words instantly left as their eyes couldn't help but contain a trace of fear as their faces immediately turned from absolute anger to utmost seriousness.

As soon as Jin killed the closest beast to him, another veiny red mark similar to the numerous ones on his chest appeared. These veins that pulsated with unholiness could strike fear into any weak-minded person as Jin merely smirked wickedly after seeing it.

He knew that these veiny marks were the main reason why Demons reigned as the strongest sect in this Mortal world even though eight righteous sects worked together to try and stop them. He also knew how important these marks were to him.
