Path To Supremacy

Jin was born different from others with mysterious markings all over his body along with a higher level of intelligence compared to a normal child, though that did not stop him from trying to live a happy life with his loving parents. Sadly for him, because of his title as the monstrosity, the never before seen genius, his parent were killed right in front of his eyes and he also would have died if not for the mysterious awakening of his system. . . . Please read the tags, the mc isn't a kind-hearted person nor is he even the average anti-hero. He is evil, so please don't bother commenting about how evil the mc is unless you like it. . . . . Also, the story wouldn't focus much on the romance that would be coming very late into the novel so don't expect it to do anything to the plot like softening the heart of the mc.

Serpentine Forest (7)

Over Jin's head and in the skies, one can see the coming together of dark clouds as crackling sounds reverberated through the surroundings.

In the Serpentine Forest, one can see where there used to be a pristine-looking lake that sparkled in both the sunlight and moonlight, located there was a barren piece of land that stretched for a few kilometers.

In the middle of the barren land and located in a ditch that was currently being bombarded by black lightning bolts was the unmoving body of a seemingly five-year-old child. If a knowledgeable being was present at the moment they would immediately recognize the lightning that blasted onto the body of this child as Heavenly Tribulation lightning.

But, what would leave them baffled would not be the fact that a child who looked no more than five years old was undertaking a Heavenly Tribulation. No, what would leave them baffled would most definitely be the color and feeling the Heavenly lightning gave off.

Not only was it not the normally whitish-blue color of the usual Heavenly Lightning. But the feeling it gave off was also not that of a trial for the mortal boy to overcome. No, it felt more like the Heavenly Tribulation itself, was trying to destroy the existence of this child since the power contained in it was not something an Energy Creating realm cultivator could take.

Even the average Soul Forming cultivator would be unable to cope with the strength that came from the lightning. The only feeling of restraint a being may feel from the Heavenly Tribulation Lightning would be the mysterious laws of what seemed to be the world itself. As if the world itself was going against the very heavens to ease the trials of this child.

Anyways, there were multiple beasts of the Soul Forging and Soul Transformation beasts watching the Heavenly Tribulation of the mortal boy. If that was not enough, there were even two Soul and Body Union beasts that looked on with interest. An interesting fact was that, besides the Soul and Union beasts, every other beast slightly quivered in fear every couple of seconds.

One may think what they feared was the Heavenly tribulation, but the beasts weren't at all frightened by the Heavenly Tribulation. No, what scared them was the evil and venomous aura radiating from the body of the child that lay in the ditch, seemingly dead.

As beings of the Soul Transformation realm and Soul and Body Union, they could feel and hear the sounds of heartbeats hundreds of meters away yet, they were unable to neither feel nor hear the beating heart of this being. But, the feeling of evilness emanating from his body only grew thicker by the minute as if soon enough, it would take a physical form.

Suddenly, the very space surrounding the body of the child shook, as right after the very fabrics of space tore apart, revealing a hole the size of a few hundred meters. Suddenly, mysterious energies pulled Jin's unmoving body from the ditch.

Jin, whose consciousness was coming and fleeing, felt a suction force coming from over him as he suddenly and without control found himself being sucked into something as he surprisingly regained his consciousness and realized that he seemed to be floating in a sea of what seemed like a never-ending blackness.

No, it seemed like a sea of never-ending blankness, or even a sea of absolute nothing, the feeling of breathing stopped, the feeling of being alive, the feeling of being in existence also disappeared as he felt that the concept of time and space was non-existent.

But, he did not feel uncomfortable at all as he instead felt a warmth he had never felt before, a warmth that was welcomed with open arms as he was still going through immense pain.

And, as if to make sure that Jin did not forget about his bloodline fusion...

The pain he felt instantly increased by multiple levels. But he could not even move, much less scream in this never-ending void-like space. He felt that even if he let out his loudest bellow, there would not even be a whisper that would come out of his mouth.

The pain he felt increased multiple levels as the feeling of being broken inside and out was again felt by Jin as his five-year-old mind could not cope, as he lost himself in what could be considered a vegetable state.

But soon after, the surrounding abyss-like energy started entering the pores of Jin's body. At first, it slowly entered his body but eventually, the speed at which he seemed to be absorbing this energy increased.

As soon as the black energy entered his body, his mind, which was broken without repair, instantly healed, making him regain consciousness. He also felt as if the immense pain from the fusion of all of his bloodlines stopped.

Jin's eyes then shot open as what was revealed was the darkest of black. Even his previous red pupils now had a blackness to them, which made the red almost untraceable. Though his eyes were open, it seemed as if he was in a semi-unconscious state.

Even at this moment in which Jin's bloodlines were still fusing, he felt absolutely nothing. Before long, all of the black energy in this space disappeared as the space turned from a never-ending void to absolute blankness.

Jin felt as if he could see but at the same time couldn't as the space was fully white. What he saw was instantly interrupted as a crack in space suddenly appeared behind him as it sucked him into it, leaving the space of whiteness empty and quiet as if it was always like this.

Outside, in the barren field, Jin's semi-unconscious body dropped in a ditch as he barely discerned that the tribulation seemed to have ended. Right after, he then heard the robotic voice of his system.

Ringing in the mind of Jin, was the system's robotic voice as he laid there on the ditch seemingly dead. Right after the robotic voice finished speaking, it came back again but this time with even better news

Jin, who was still in a semi-unconscious state, felt as if he was in a completely new location. Sadly he could barely even open his eyes, much less get up to examine his surroundings.

What he could make out though was the fact that he seemed to be lying down on a body of seemingly never-ending abyss black liquid that was sparkling from the sunlight it currently received.

Next to him was a being who sat on his knees and also had three swords attached to his right side and one on his left.

He had a calm face which also had similarities to Jin. No, his calm face with eyes filled with indifference looked exactly like Jin's as he watched in the direction of what seemed to be a transparent screen.

Jin, whose consciousness was fleeting, saw on the screen the scene of what seemed to be his body lying inside of a ditch. The weirdest part was the fact that his body seemed to be transforming as a horn began forming along with other demonic-looking things...

I was so sleepy writing this chapter, probably came out mediocre.
