Path To Supremacy

Jin was born different from others with mysterious markings all over his body along with a higher level of intelligence compared to a normal child, though that did not stop him from trying to live a happy life with his loving parents. Sadly for him, because of his title as the monstrosity, the never before seen genius, his parent were killed right in front of his eyes and he also would have died if not for the mysterious awakening of his system. . . . Please read the tags, the mc isn't a kind-hearted person nor is he even the average anti-hero. He is evil, so please don't bother commenting about how evil the mc is unless you like it. . . . . Also, the story wouldn't focus much on the romance that would be coming very late into the novel so don't expect it to do anything to the plot like softening the heart of the mc.

Immensity Of Heaven and Earth

Flash!!

With a flash of light, a now blindfolded Jin appeared on the hard dirt ground of what seemed to be a roadway.

Jin felt his new surroundings as he then blew out a sigh and sat in a meditative position.

Not bothering about anything else, he opened his hand as a hair tie appeared in his palm.

Holding it with his delicate cherry red lips, Jin fixed his hair as before long we can see the new and improved Jin with white hair tied in a ponytail and two strands of hair on each side of his face reaching his chin.

Sigh!!

"This feels a lot better. I am shocked that, besides my human side, all of the previous me could function with such unruly hair." Jin said in a surprised tone before standing to his feet.

Pulling down his blindfold, Jin momentarily gazed at his surroundings before raising his blindfold to eye level again.

It seemed he appeared in a dirt roadway with forestry on either side while horse hoof markings imprinted itself on the ground.

Processing this, Jin first decided to find out the direction of the Chthonic Sect.

'Little system, let me see my stats.' Jin ordered his system in his mind.

As soon as Jin commanded his system, a holographic screen immediately appeared in his view.

'Hmm, I like it. But, why did my teleportation cost double compared to my human self, who teleported a whole continent away? Though I do not exactly know the distance between that forest and here, I am pretty sure it's not the size of a whole continent."

As these thoughts came to mind, Jin's system immediately replied in the form of a holographic message to clear his doubts.

The higher the master's 'enemy' is in terms of power, the greater the number of marks of Reality that'll be used by the system.

-

'I see...okay then, use a mark of Reality and create a map for me to reach the Chthonic Sect's front gates.' Jin thought of a solution for reaching the Chthonic Sect.

Though he could have directly teleported there, that'll cost him even more marks of Reality than the map and even if he wasn't the oldest in terms of age, he still had a little intelligence which made him know full well that these marks of reality seemed to be precious, so he decided to travel by himself and hope to see a traveler on his way.

A map of great detail suddenly and mysteriously appeared in the corner of his right eye.

Abruptly after, a black demonic and bat-like wing with red and veiny markings appeared on his back. Thankfully, he did not have clothes on his upper body as he preferred to have his presently non-existent muscles exposed for the world to see.

With a flap of his wing, he was already a few tens of meters in the air as he then went in the direction in which the map pointed out.

Leaving behind a black stream of energy wherever his wing went, Jin traveled to the Chthonic Sect's gate as he was about to change this world, but for him to reach the Chthonic Sect, he would need to go through an incident or two. Or...was he even going to reach the Chthonic Sect anytime soon.

As the beautiful moon and stars lit up the night sky, on the dirt ground of a rather infamous road in the Demon Continent, one can see a golden-colored carriage pulled by four horses who adorned exquisite-looking clothes.

Suddenly the old-looking carriage man stopped the horses as he barely discerned a small humanoid figure a few meters in the front.

The abrupt stop startled the persons inside of the carriage as right after, two middle-aged Asian-looking men, one with a ruff beard and short black hair while the other with a completely bald head and no beard, came out dressed in silver armor as the bald head guard immediately began berating the carriage man.

"Don't you know how to control your horses? If the young master were to be injured by such a sudden stop, your head would be detached by now!!!"

He shouted out in anger as he placed his hand on the sword tied to his waist as his gaze carried a trace of viciousness.

The bearded man next to him then placed his hand on his bald companion's shoulder as he tried to calm him down.

"Don't bother trying to teach this old bag of bones anything." He said to his angered bald partner as he then looked at the man who was the cause of this in an asking gaze.

Hearing his friend's words, the bald man restrained his anger and looked at the carriage man with the same questioning gaze.

Seeing both of his 'superiors' calm, the old man breathed out a sigh of relief as he then pointed towards the direction of the figure he previously saw.

As soon as the two guards turned their attention to the direction that the carriage man pointed to, they saw the figure of Jin, who was now only a couple of meters away from them.

"Huh, did you stop because of some kid? Don't you know the young master has pressing matters he's to attend to? Why bother stopping for a kid, who we could have rolled over?"

The bearded man said in an infuriated tone as he could not believe the wrinkled man dared to stop because of a kid.

One has to know what kind of world this is. This is a world where the strong are absolute, and the weak aren't treated even as pets.

On another day, a kid like Jin would have been run over no matter how beautiful he looked but, unlike the guards who sensed nothing, the wrinkled and old carriage man smelled something different about this kid.

With his almost two hundred years of work as a carriage man, he has met multiple different people with different smells, but the kid in front of him reeked of the smell that he only came across in life and death situations.

The kid in front of him palpated with the disastrous smell of...death.

And, as soon as he was about to reason with the guards, the carriage doors opened. Stepping out of it was a being of extreme largeness.

The fat contained in his body was unreal as even the kid who was actually Jin, was left slightly speechless by the incredible fat contained in one being.

"To dare block my path. Puny brat, it seems you do not know the immensity of heaven and earth!!"
