Path To Supremacy

Jin was born different from others with mysterious markings all over his body along with a higher level of intelligence compared to a normal child, though that did not stop him from trying to live a happy life with his loving parents. Sadly for him, because of his title as the monstrosity, the never before seen genius, his parent were killed right in front of his eyes and he also would have died if not for the mysterious awakening of his system. . . . Please read the tags, the mc isn't a kind-hearted person nor is he even the average anti-hero. He is evil, so please don't bother commenting about how evil the mc is unless you like it. . . . . Also, the story wouldn't focus much on the romance that would be coming very late into the novel so don't expect it to do anything to the plot like softening the heart of the mc.

Gaining Enlightenment

Inside of a plot of land that spanned as far as one can see, a beautiful looking body of sparkling abyss-black water lay as Jin was floating over it as he watched his merged middle and lower dantian that happened to be one of the changes that were made to his body. The only outward change to his body was definitely the eyes of his or more precisely his pupils as he had deep abyss-like black-colored pupils that were surrounded by a blood-red hue which was also surrounded by a white-colored sclera. Jin had his upper body revealed to the world as his lower body was adorned with what seemed to be a black-colored and tight-fitted army pants. Looking down at his pants, Jin couldn't help but say.

"Hmm, though the style of clothing in that mortal world is weird, it is truly very comfortable in to be adorned in it. It's a pity that I can not create things in the physical world like how I can do in this 'world' of mine." Jin said out loud as he then shifted his gaze towards his merged dantian as he couldn't help but be fascinated by it. After gaining memories from multiple people and going through the few hundred memories of those persons he had killed in the previous mortal plane he was in, Jin could be said to be a fairly knowledgeable person. So when he saw his dantian that now had similarities to a beach where there was black sand and even a body of black energy that was similar to water going fully around the land, Jin was left slightly shocked. Now getting a fair idea of the changes inside of his dantian, Jin decided to leave he then closed his eyes as his form mysteriously faded away.

Floating in the sea of dark energy, one can see the naked body of Jin who had long grown too big to wear the martial art pants he previously adorned. But, at this moment, he was not paying attention to his nakedness as he instead was completely focused on gaining enlightenment. 'According to the will of the abyss, my soul and body must become the peak of tranquility to gain enlightenment in whatever Law that I am most attuned with.' Jin thought as he shut off all distracting thoughts and began to relax all of his muscles.

One must know, Jin was already in a seemingly indefinite sea of darkness for ten years. His mind and body were already harmonious with the workings of being alone and shrouded in darkness. He himself spent ten years absorbing dark energy into his system which was a completely different energy than any of those in the mortal world absorb. So when asked what is the most suitable Law for him to learn, Jin already knew the answer, and he knew the environment he was in was akin to a free ticket to comprehending the Law of Darkness.

And, as if to confirm his thoughts, Jin's consciousness was mysteriously transported to a completely different setting as he was in a form that was completely new to him. Looking down, he realized that he neither had hands nor did he have any feet at all, instead he was a transparent ball of darkness that leaked out a dark liquid substance that harmed its surroundings by seemingly corroding it as the surrounding space seemed to turn into that dark liquid substance. Though Jin did not currently have a humanoid body which meant he did not have a pair of eyes in which one can observe their surroundings, this did not mean he wasn't aware of how his surroundings looked as he was left speechless after taking in the surrounding.

If he had a face, it would change from his always stiff and indifferent one to that of a shocked one where anyone would be surprised b the fact that Jin's expression could showcase it. Even though he had fifteen years of memories from 'that' place, he still did not see something as beautiful as the scene in front of him since it was only a mere fifteen years of birth which was not anywhere near enough time for him to travel even 1% of 'that' place.

Anyway, quickly, Jin forgot about 'that' place, as he instead processed the beautiful scene in front of him. What came into view was a mere stretch of stairs. Yes, it was merely a stretch of black-colored stairs that were even darker than abyss-black as Jin found out from a sudden influx of information that to gain enlightenment in the Law of Darkness, he only needed to go up that staircase. What surprised him greatly was the fact that it seemed that he had two options. He had a choice in choosing between two completely different Laws.

The information that came into his mind, showcased the direction of the next Law that was the complete opposite of Darkness. It was of course the Law of Light that Jin did not even bother to think about comprehending. It was not because of the memories he had inherited from that one mortal plane, and Jin wanted to be an 'edge lord' of sorts. No, he was merely choosing what he was most comfortable with as not only did the Law of Light need multiple righteous acts so that one can deepen one's understanding of that Law, Jin himself was a being who spent ten years in a never-ending sea of dark energy in which after a few years, and by a few twisted turn of events, he came to enjoy the feeling of being alone and shrouded in darkness.

Throughout his first fifteen years of existence, he was a being shrouded in light as he was meant to become the beacon of hope for all of existence because of their stupidity, yet it was because of them, because of the beings who he came into existence to protect, it was those exact people who worked together to seal his very concepts away. All of the different bloodlines and bloodline abilities he was birthed from were individually sealed away along with his consciousness as he entered a state of absolute solitude in darkness. So when asked about what he'll choose between the Laws of darkness and light, it was what one can call a complete no-brainer for Jin.

And thinking this, Jin immediately headed in the direction of the stairs made out of a black darker than black as he then hovered over the first step. According to the information that he absorbed into his very consciousness, he was told that he needed to reach the top of the staircase in order to gain enlightenment into the Law of Darkness. Jin was quite eager to comprehend it so that he can leave the sea of dark energy and enter the land of the living. Though he liked being alone, he also wanted to cause a little chaos as he was quite the playful one, and what better world than the world of the abyss. It was already in the name of the world, he wanted the inhabitants to live up to their world's name and fall into the abyss of darkness. He wanted everyone in that world to feel fear and be constantly shrouded in darkness.

And, that is what is about to happen, the Abyss World will know darkness, but it would not stop there as not only would the whole of this multiverse know chaos, darkness, and death. But, even outside of this multiverse and throughout existence.

Blood, death, destruction, and darkness. It was bound to happen as the countdown ad already started.
