A masterpiece ruined by clickbait. MC's personality was awesome in the early part of the novel but after he got his plot armor... his arrogance skyrocketed. It's like the generic Chinese cultivation novel but just a notch better. I'm not saying that it's bad but from my perspective, it's boring and a big disappointment. I recommend trying it tho. Don't just trust a random guy (me) from the reviews and READ IT.

This latest volume is too tiring, the pace has become too slow and each chapter is filled with unnecessary details. Author I recommend that you don't explain everything and leave things to imagination a little bit because if u try to fix loopholes in a cultivation novel it will just make the story slower and slower. Also, the 'awe' factor needs to be toned down please, we KNOW how good our MC is, not every line needs to be repeated with a '!' mark. I wish we get more character interactions and please for the love of God, NEW CHARACTER DESIGNS!! Every new character is either an arrogant young cultivator, an old cultivator who is greedy, an old cultivator who is not greedy, a heavenly beauty who is arrogant but cant do much actually. I truly love PoS, its one of the only cultivation novel i read and have recommended to others so please author. Good Luck for future chapters!!

Im giving it a 5 because it deserves it but all I ask are that there is a more stability in updates. Also btw one of the best novels out there... Mc and World are amazing

Well, as of chapter 1400 something, I've got to say I'm immensely disappointed with how everything turned out. I mean the story was an absolute banger at the start and for like 700ish chapters, but then, he got to the Grand Cyclic Stellar region and dear lord what in the world happened, the story went from being about the MC to being about almost every single member of his organisation except him ... As of 1200 or something, there is no more story development, just secondary character getting screen time reacting to MC strenghts, mistery or some nonsense. I'm extremely sad for a story that went from my favorite of all time that I used to spend a lot of money supporting the author for his awesome work to one of my most disappoiting ones ... Hope it get better someday are Kevin finds back his drive and get the pacing of his story under control and stop writing about every single secondary character which is literaly the meaning of a "SECONDARY" character, not supposed to be a story about them ...

Quite disappointing, the reviews made me think that the novel was a work of art and the protagonist was intelligent, but there are many things that bother me, to show the reality of the novel you do not need to marry the first women with whom the protagonist has deeper interactions or let them be raped, the "original plots" are the same clichés only with the justification of karma and the blessed ones are extremely annoying, the so-called intelligent protagonist is a simp who gives gifts to women who are with others men, even knowing that they are on the enemy side.... genius!!

Dear author, I was/am still a huge fan of this book, due to its in depth world building and good story (at least at first). The problem I’ facing and I read a lot of comments feeling the same way, is that you introduce way to many characters and I mean WAY to many. The pov switches literally every chapter and it feels like the characters are in the 1000s at this point, to the point that I’d probably would need a list next to it to remember them all. Especially as this a chapter updating novel and you come back after some days and don’t remember anything. At the moment I’m skipping to most parts until we finally see the MC again every 10 chapters. I reall liked this novel and I’m saddened to see it like this :(

Maaaaan I have never felt reading a novel could be such a chore and tiring. The author looooooovvvvveeeeeeeeessssss info dump, like every other paragraph is an info dump or needless/useless detail. You can probably skim through 10 chapters and it would feel like you only progressed one chapter worth of story. It felt tiring and redundant. Honestly one won’t be wrong if they thought the writer was just dumping words in the chapter in oder to fulfill an unknown quota and target. It didn’t add to the story or it’s progression just fulfilling the target that teachers would give their students for an essay assignment(which I did a lot for all my writing classes, so I am speaking for experience 😎). Alright enough with my rant, honestly this story was unique in many ways and has massive potential. I am just tired from reading so many useless info dumps so I am dropping it. Though I am not gonna explicitly tell anyone to not pick this book up, I will say give it a read and see if it’s you cup of tea. Who knows maybe you might like all the massive information that god knows where it ends.

The starting of the story was so awesome and instantly hooked me up, but as the story continued to develop, MC turned from a ruthless and cold person to a emotional with lowered Intelligence. The whole story was destroyed because of it. I read all the free chapters and am very disappointed with how the story development took place. I really thought that it was very unnecessary to do things that happened in the ending parts of the story. And although I'm ok with the story being realistic, author, you really destroy the characters of MCs.

This novel is too goated. I have even reread the whole novel. Just to confirm that this is my favorite novel on here. Kevin don't give up and keep up the good work.

With the author already taking in his stride that the first 2 volumes didnt come off theres not much to say for them But lets start The first volune eventually was too fast, i couldnt get to know a single character properly, things happened too quickly,with the amount of attention alchemy gets its almost funny how how he even learnt its basics to medium level was casually brushed off and not written with detail The second was much better, with much less jarring plots, but still the flow of the story was not smooth,but all in all it served purpose even if it wasnt that great The 3rd volume basically got everything going, it was extremely smooth, there werent any jarring plots , but a proper flow of things,with such low cultivation levels described so highly as if the peak level everything becomes confusing, characters are still being ridiculously described with paras on looks alone,alchemy basically went from being a helper to a tranformer and becomes almost unreasonable when u cant achieve things without pills, even if told the starfield is lacking, hopefully it becomes supportive again in the mystic realm , its fine to transform mortals but in the mystic realms that would just be plain wierd, im honestly happy we’re focusing on things other that torure and sexual assaults its gotten too boring Honestly the novel has improved a lot , and having quite in interesting plot is one of the most interesting ones to read right now, it just needs a bit of a chnage in the style its going, the reactions need a toning down, the mc needs to fight long fights with proper battle mechanics,some actual details of how he practices everything, the character descriptions can be toned down , honestly this over dramatic style of writing has gone out of the game and needs a refresh the cultivation techniques need to be given more attention and detail, and his dual cultivation needs some attention , with the amount the mc dual cultivated and with stronger people sometimes, hes not shown to gain anything which doesnt make any sense The other characters are also finally getting some footage which is also good, its about time the concubine comes into the story, with the old man realm lord capable of going and getting her without the void gate, she deserves her footage Brilliantly written lately , its improved to suprising degree, hope to read till it goes👍🏻

Honestly one the best stories I’ve found on this app. Everything this story tries to do it does with some success. I’ve enjoyed thoroughly how the story has progressed so far. If there is one thing I think this story does poorly it is the character relationships being pretty mediocre. Everything else about this book is phenomenal and I’m surprised this isn’t a highrr rated book

I as a critical reader often find lots of things done wrong but have to admit this novel is done extremely well! Just try it would be my advice, you probably like it.. The chapters are nice and long + the story is not so simple minded as 98% of other (cultivation) novels.

Amazing that is the only word to describe this creation. After CEDS and it's new style of story and this book again bring some thing new even in ch with cultivation fillers and makes it intersting. So try it .....

Book used to be so good man. But now plot moves at a snails pace and the harem is never ending. The story is heavily padded with useless bs that no one really cares about( SO MUCH FILLER). I hate about a third of the harem and hope they were never there. Character descriptions are nonexistent and everything is "she was so beautiful" or "her beauty was blinding" all bs that gives us nothing in terms of proper character descriptions. For the harem, no one but the author remembers more than like 5 of them and even then you can barely picture the ones you remember cus the author doesn't know any character description words apart from "beautiful" (used so much I doubt the world has an actual standard for beauty). Also Most of them are just complete leeches in my opinion. Mc spends a crazy amount of time and resources nurturing them and it just gets personally annoying having them basically be the whole plot. Book used to be so good man but the filler.. sad what it has become.

The zenith of the novel is experienced during the protagonist's travels with Su Mei and Bai Lin. This part of the story showcases the potential of the narrative without the harem element. Sadly, the quality of the novel plummets thereafter, failing to recover from the negative impact of the harem concept. In conclusion, this novel is a contradictory work that showcases remarkable world-building, charismatic characters, and an interesting cultivation system. However, the decision to introduce a harem severely undermines the story's integrity, reducing strong female characters to objects of desire. While the novel still offers an enjoyable read, it fails to reach its full potential due to this unnecessary and distracting element.
