They meet 3

Douluo Continent

Shrek Academy.

Working students dormitory.

Gu Yue and Wulin returned to the working students dormitory quite late into the night and saw Fan Lin cultivating outside their room.

They ignored him and went towards their room; Tang Wulin because he didn't want to disturb Fan Lin's cultivation and Gu Yue because she didn't want to associate with Fan Lin in front of Wulin.

She did want to know what Fan Lin was trying to do by following her but Tang Wulin was a more important priority for now.

Fan Lin opened his eyes and ran towards them at breakneck speeds to stop her. He had failed at sensing Gu Yue but Wulin was easily perceivable and knowing that Gu Yue was like a chewing gum stuck on the feet of Tang Wulin. She will always be somewhere around him.

And Fan Lin was right. Gu Yue was beside Tang Wulin but they were on the verge of entering their room. Hence Fan Lin dashed towards them because shouting was weird in his eyes.

"I need a moment with you. Alone."

Fan Lin said to Gu Yue while ignoring Tang Wulin. In his eyes, Gu Yue had more importance in the current situation than Tang Wulin.

Fan Lin stared expectantly towards Gu Yue. Tang Wulin looked at them and gave them some space by leaving the place.

"Ah, I have to cultivate, so bye."

Tang Wulin entered his room that was less than a metre away.

"Let's go someplace quiet."

Gu Yue said while looking at the door that Tang Wulin closed with a calm gaze.

"It's nothing important so we can talk here. Are you -" [Fan Lin]

"Let's go somewhere quiet." [Gu Yue]

Fan Lin's words were cut short by the cold voice of Gu Yue as she demanded to change the venue of their alone talk.

Fan Lin looked at her and then gestured her to follow him. They went deep into the forest.

"Are you a disciple of Leng Yaozhu?"

Fan Lin asked while walking.

"Hmm."

Gu Yue nodded. Fan Lin got his answer and silently walked to his cultivation area.

"That's it. That's what you wanted to ask."

Gu Yue asked as he didn't say a single thing after that.

"I told you, it was nothing important."

Fan Lin calmly replied. Gu Yue glanced at him and realised that she could just murder him right here and nobody will realise. She just needed to seal the space and it would be perfect but she calmed herself down.

"When did you join Shrek? You weren't among the grade 1 students. Teacher Shen Yi said you are a grade 2 student."

Gu Yue suddenly became talkative and asked in her cold voice.

"Three years ago." [Fan Lin]

"Hmm, why did you wear a mask when you fought us in the examinations? It's not like Wulin wouldn't have known about you later on." [Gu Yue]

"I felt like it." [Fan Lin]

"Hmm? Wasn't it that if he saw your face, he would have chosen you for sure, and would have likely lost?" [Gu Yue]

"(↼_↼)" [Fan Lin]

"You seemed to have a relation with Tang Wulin in the past. Why does he hate you now?" [Gu Yue]

"Once upon a time his sister angered me and I used violence on her. Later on, Wulin came to find me and I broke his legs and a hand. His sister also disappeared a few months later when she complained against me. Must be that." [Fan Lin]

Fan Lin recalled the good times as Gu Yue's eyes turned colder by the moment after hearing his words.

"He doesn't seem to hate you that much now though. Why?" [Gu Yue]

She continued.

"I told him that his sister's still alive and well. I don't know where though." [Fan Lin]

"How do you know that?" [Gu Yue]

"I said I told him that his sister is still alive. I never said I knew it. She might be half dead or frozen as well. Life is weird." [Fan Lin]

"Hmm. Why did you help him now? You want something from him, don't you?" [Gu Yue]

"Yeah, something that only he can give." [Fan Lin]

"Will it harm him." [Gu Yue]

"Probably." [Fan Lin]

"I see." [Gu Yue]

As their conversations became shorter, Gu Yue voice became colder and the elements around her were silently influenced.

"Why did you want to know about my relationship with my master? [Gu Yue]

"I had some personal issues with someone in the Spirit Pagoda. You might help me." [Fan Lin]

"Why would I help you?" [Gu Yue]

"To protect you little secret from Wulin. You are hiding quite a lot from him. You must have known Wulin by now. Wonder how he will react after he learns about you. The true you." [Fan Lin]

Gu Yue became solemn at the calm words of Fan Lin.

"What do you know?" [Gu Yue]

She asked as three spirit rings swiftly rose from her and she attacked Fan Lin with a combined element burst.

"Everything." [Fan Lin]

Fan Lin ambiguously answered while ignoring the elemental burst. The attack reached his body and destroyed his clothes. His body didn't have any signs of damage though.

"It seems you are scared of getting things out. Perfect then. Now wanna hear to my terms." [Fan Lin]

His face was bombarded with two more bluish fireballs as the ground beneath his feet sank, his body felt heavy, the air around him constricted, and his sight blinded while he couldn't hear anything.

Gu Yue kept using the different combinations to elements to attack Fan Lin. She stopped the air around him making it hard to breathe, made his body weaker and gravity higher with darkness and earth, while filling his eyes with light and fire.

This wasn't the main attack though as this was a distraction on her part and the bigger assualt was on its way. Seven elements seemed to interconnect and combine in her hands as she sensed Fan Lin slowly moving towards her.

His body stopped just a metre away from her as he ignored all the attacks.

"I am immortal. Now would you like to listen to me, I won't ask something too-" [Fan Lin]

As Fan Lin forgot that the villains who talked too much often die, he was immediately blasted with a seven coloured elemental light. Gu Yue coldly looked at his direction after the attack ended.

'Should I use more strength?'

Meanwhile Fan Lin now regretted saying his past words. He looked at his hands that were nothing but bones and this was after he equipped them with his battle armor.

His battle armor was nowhere in sight.

The same with his chest and upper body. All of them were charred, to the point of disintegration. He looked at his undamaged legs and complete pants and internally thanked Gu Yue for not attacking below.

He silently looked at her. In the beginning, he thought that the attack couldn't harm him but he had to change his mind less than a fraction of second later as he equipped his battle armor gauntlets to endure the attack. Without that, he might no have his hands.

"What was that? If I haven't use my Armor, my hands would have completely disintegrated. Even my Armor is gone."

Fan Lin emotionlessly said as the combined and enhanced green ring floated behind him. Gu Yue became tense and backed away a little but was sealed to the neck in a green crystalline crystal coffin.

"Stay there quietly, you are not the only one who can explode things." [Fan Lin]

With his words as cue, a tiny piece of the green crystal coffin broke out and exploded. The explosion was quite potent.

Gu Yue was still coldly looking at Fan Lin as he drew closer to her and sat down while using the green crystal coffin as support.

"I need to get another storage soul guide."

He muttered as the storage ring of his was nowhere to be seen on his body. It was worn as a necklace and considering that even his chest bones seem to have burnt to crisp, his ring would have been destroyed as well.

"You are quite weird."

Fan Lin said to the captured Gu Yue.

"At least listen to me completely before attacking. So I was saying. I will keep your secret, just help me get some news on the Spirit Pagoda President, anything will do. You don't even need to do any digging. Just some old tales or his relatives or his affairs. Anything will do." [Fan Lin]

Fan Lin thought of eating something to recover but no storage ring = no food. Adding to the fact this he hadn't eaten anything in the past two years, and his body's already low lifespan, he wasn't healing anytime sooner.

"Do you have something to eat? I just brought a few kgs of food to eat when I achieved Rank 50 but yeah, do you have something to eat?" [Fan Lin]

"What's your purpose?" [Gu Yue]

"Not saying things like ' set me free in the name of god' or something else. You are weird. Too calm, almost not like a kid. Well you aren't." [Fan Lin]

"... Your hands are destroyed, so is your body. You are going to die. Why are you so calm?" [Gu Yue]

"I should ask the same. Why are you so calm when you just half murdered someone." [Fan Lin]

Fan Lin slowly stood up and looked at Gu Yue's body for her storage soul guide.

"What are you looking at?" [Gu Yue]

Gu Yue asked, not liking Fan Lin's gaze any bit.

"You were the one who acted unreasonably first."

Fan Lin whispered as he took her storage soul guide from the crystal coffin, his hands passing through it like an illusion.

"Why is there no normal fruits to eat?"

He questioned and set her free. Gu Yue calmly looked at him and snatched her storage soul guide back.

"You want normal fruits? Why?" [Gu Yue]

She asked while putting the thought of him dying aside. From his attitude, it didn't seem like he would die.

'He must have a way then.'

"The Dining Hall must be closed now. Hmm. What's your answer?"

Fan Lin muttered and changed the topic to Gu Yue.

"How much do you know? And what are you planning to do?" [Gu Yue]

"What's your answer?" [Fan Lin]

"How much do you know?" [Gu Yue]

"What's your answer?" [Fan Lin]

"... I trust Wulin, he would understand." [Gu Yue]

"I trust Wulin as well, he is irrational and stupid when it comes to emotions. He is also childish and hold deep grudges against people he doesn't like, waiting to strike when he gets the perfect chance." [Fan Lin]

"You should know that since you understood the reason why I wore a mask." [Fan Lin]

[...] [Silence]

"I accept but I won't do anything out of the bounds and Wulin should not know even a single thing. If he did, you die." [Gu Yue]

"Relax. I don't want you to do something. I want you to be my eyes and ears. Your Master should be a good source of information about the past and the present and I promise that Wulin would know nothing about you (since neither do I know anything about you)." [Fan Lin]

Fan Lin said.

"What are you going to do now?" [Gu Yue]

Gu Yue asked while looking at his nearly destroyed body. He looked liked a resurrected corpse with parts of his body missing.

'His body seems to be healing at a really slow rate. At the current rate, he might be healed in a few months.'

Gu Yue thought.

"I just need to eat something." [Fan Lin]

Fan Lin said while going towards the working students dormitory. Gu Yue followed him.

"Hmm. You can heal from that. Some miracle medicine?" [Gu Yue]

She asked recalling the vials that he used to restore the forest and her body previously.

"Nah. I can heal through excess energy but since I haven't eaten anything for the past two years, I don't have any excess energy in me. I would have eaten my stored fruits but the storage soul guide disintegrated." [Fan Lin]

Fan Lin said while walking.

"You can heal from those injuries by eating food?"

She asked in doubt.

'How can he even walk, his heart isn't even beating.'

"I am immortal although I just died. I am still immortal. Why did you suddenly attack though?" [Fan Lin]

Fan Lin flatly asked. Gu Yue turned to stare at him.

"Why did you set me free then?" [Gu Yue]

"Your eyes told me you had ways to become free. You were not the bit afraid of the exploding coffin." [Fan Lin]

"Not afraid that I would try to attack you again?" [Gu Yue]

"Did you attack?" [Fan Lin]

Fan Lin asked and went towards his room in the working students dormitory. They had reached the dorm while talking.

"Don't file a complaint?" [Fan Lin]

Fan Lin said while opening the door to his room. A dusty and cobwebbed room interior came to her sight as Fan Lin ducked under one of the bunk beds and took out a box. It was filled with papers, storage soul guides, soul communicators and some spare ID cards.

He checked the various storage soul guides and finally picked one after a while.

"Let's go."

He said while wearing a long trench coat that he took out from the storage soul guide.

He gently closed the door and left the working students dormitory to go outside Shrek.

"Just one question. Why do you have so many storage devices?"

Gu Yue had lots of questions in her mind but chose to ask the most important one.

"They are all filled with different stuff that I sell in my shop. Why are you following me?"

Fan Lin asked while explaining. He was near the Shrek's gate but Gu Yue was following her.

"I want to see how you heal and you said ' let's go' sometime ago." [Gu Yue]

Gu Yue ruptly said while following him.

"I meant let's go from my room but okay. Why are you interested in my condition? I thought you must have seen a lot considering you are... you." [Fan Lin]

Fan Lin explained his thoughts although not true.

"Even I don't know everything and you are different. You aren't normal in any sense that I know. Even abnormal feels like an understatement." [Gu Yue]

Gu Yue remarked while looking at the face of Fan Lin that he saved by sacrificing his hands.

"And I don't think you can buy or carry anything with that bone arms of yours." [Gu Yue]

Her gaze moved towards his hands that were hidden by his trench coat. One hand of his was completely gone till his elbow and the second one only had two fingers while most of the flesh and meridians were burnt or disintegrated.

"Not bad at heart huh. I would have called you a fairy if you weren't the one who did this to begin with. Why did you suddenly attack?" [Fan Lin]

Fan Lin questioned again.

"You really don't know?" [Gu Yue]

She asked while blankly looking at him. Fan Lin looked at her and answered.

"My calm words might have hurt your brittle ego it seems." [Fan Lin]

[Why does he even speak?]

Fan Lin casually said and brought some fruits from a fruit shop just beside his shop.

Gu Yue clenched her fist but kept her calm. She attacked him as a payback for the previous embarrassment. She just wanted to leave him half dead and then slowly heal him but she chose to leave the healing part after Fan Lin didn't seem that much of a half dead.

She thought that Fan Lin would use one of those weird liquids in his vials to heal his body since he used a little bit of it once that restored her body but he didn't do that as well.

Hence she followed around to see what he would do to heal and if he failed then she will heal him.

She still needed Fan Lin alive for her purpose and that's why, even if Fan Lin irritated her enough to kill him a thousand times, she still had to drink her anger and keep Fan Lin alive.

From the conversation of Tang Wulin and Fan Lin and the later conversation of her and Tang Wulin about Fan Lin, she knew that Fan Lin had a softer side to the soul beasts.

As for why, she didn't know.

They both returned to the students working dorms where Fan Lin kept the trench coat in the storage soul guide and casually put them into the box under the bed.

They then went towards the cultivation area of Fan Lin while Fan Lin ate some fruits on his way.

During their small journey, Gu Yue and Fan Lin exchanged quite a lot of quips between each other.

"... Just saying but do you hate Spirit Pagoda?" [Fan Lin]

Fan Lin asked Gu Yue while stuffing his mouth with some seedless plum looking native fruit of the Douluo world. It was sweet.

"I don't. Do you?" [Gu Yue]

Gu Yue asked while taking a bite of her own fruit since Fan Lin felt weird while eating alone and gave her two fruits to eat.

After seeing him eat a lot, she also began to eat the ones she was given.

"I do." [Fan Lin]

Fan Lin answered honestly.

"I hate them a lot." [Fan Lin]

"Why?" [Gu Yue]

"Personal reasons. I will tell you someday in the future." [Fan Lin]

"Do you like soul beasts? Tang Wulin said once that you hated eating meat or anything non vegetarian." [Gu Yue]

Gu Yue asked after a moment of silence as she was chewing on her fruit.

"I do. I do like soul beasts and more than humans as well." [Fan Lin]

"Not afraid of telling it to me?" [Gu Yue]

"Quite a lot of people know already. And stating my likes are one way to actually understand if what I like is something that I truly want." [Fan Lin]

Fan Lin once again became ambiguous.

"What do you plan to do?" [Gu Yue]

"Create a place for the soul beasts. I want to create a paradise for the soul beasts and protect it from myself and others. Remember the Star Dou forest in its prime. I don't know what it looked like but I want to create a place that's better than it." [Fan Lin]

Fan Lin calmly replied while looking at her.

"Are you not afraid that I will spread your words to the others? The words you spoke are equivalent to blasphemy to the others." [Gu Yue]

Gu Yue said and took another bite of her fruit.

"Gu Yue doesn't gossip. Nor does she have anyone to gossip. Gu Yue is a loner. I don't have to fear." [Fan Lin]

Fan Lin calmly retorted. His words made her anger surge a little.

"What if I report to my master?" [Gu Yue]

"You won't and even if you do, it's not a problem." [Fan Lin]

Fan Lin said while stuffing a few more fruits and using the enhanced rings to stockpile the absorption effects. His body began to heal at a rapid rate and he slowed down the amount of fruits that he was eating.

Gu Yue observed the healing of his body and asked.

"Why wouldn't I report it to my master?" [Gu Yue]

"You will?" [Fan Lin]

They stared at each other with no one backing down or giving away any answers.

"Your body is weird." [Gu Yue]

Gu Yue changed the question. Fan Lin followed.

"Indeed. I have two passive physiques. One Energy body or my first Spirit Soul ability and second is my Petrosapien physique, the third soul skill." [Fan Lin]

"Both are passives and affect my body. One grants me cultivation speed and the other Energy storage, enhanced physique and energy manipulation inside my body, although." [Fan Lin]

"Just because I would not tell anyone doesn't means that you can tell me everything." [Gu Yue]

"I thought you wanted to know how I heal." [Fan Lin]

"I wanted to observe how you heal. Not the reason for your healing. Also your spirit rings must be in complete harmony with your body and martial soul to be able to combine like that." [Gu Yue]

"You really know a lot." [Fan Lin]

"What's Petrosapien?" [Gu Yue]

"I don't know. I only know that it is in the name of the soul skill Petrosapien physique. As for what it is, I don't know."

"Your Martial Soul is mutated and you also have a mutated spirit ring." [Gu Yue]

"Yeah, my Blue Silver Grass is an evolved version that absorbs energy passively, hence I name is Blue Silver Energy Grass. As for the mutated ring, I heard some people say that it resembles the crystals of the crystal bear, they also explode. Why are you suddenly asking?" [Fan Lin]

Fan Lin stopped eating as a grave feeling rose from the depths of his body. He had eaten more than he should.

"You just used battle armor to block my attack so I was interested." [Gu Yue]

Gu Yue finished her first fruit and took a bite of the second while looking at Fan Lin who got up and moved away from her.

They were previously seated at an arm's distance but now Fan Lin was a few metres away from her.

"What happened?" [Gu Yue]

Gu Yue asked while sensing the rapid rising of energy in his body.

"Nothing. I ate too much. Don't come near and I am perfectly fi-"

Fan Lin's body burst before he can finish his words. Thankfully he stopped eating at the right time and after a single energy burst that took away his left side of the body, no further energy rampages happened and Fan Lin completely healed in a few moments.

He came to seat near Gu Yue again after his body had no signs of injury. She looked at him silently healing for nearly two minutes and remarked after he sat at his previous place near her.

"That's not healing, that's just you destroying your body's vitality." [Gu Yue]

"I know. But it heals now. Takes a lot of time but heals." [Fan Lin]

"Your blood smells sweet and is filled with vital energy. Is that why this area feels so abundant in it? Did you use your blood to water this place?" [Gu Yue]

Gu Yue carefully sensed the whole area and asked.

"You can sense that? Is my Spirit Power really bogus? I never sensed that. I needed to test and check it manually to know that. Whatever."

Fan Lin whispered and nodded at her statement.

"Hmm. You are the weird one." [Gu Yue]

Gu Yue said and took another bite again.

"Can't do anything about it. My body's energy requirements are absolutely low and eating anything too nutritious can kill me." [Fan Lin]

"You said you planned to eat the stored food when you reached Rank 50. Would something have changed then?" [Gu Yue]

"I wanted to check that as well." [Fan Lin]

"..." [Gu Yue]

[...] [Silence]

They both stayed silent for some time before Gu Yue got up and left for the working students dormitory.

Fan Lin stayed there and revised his tower attack plan while silently cultivating.

He trusted the protagonist intro from the book more than himself.

...

Fan Lin spent the next few days as usual while meeting and chatting with Gu Yue as she brought new pieces of information everyday.

Fan Lin hadn't thought that Gu Yue would agree so easily and would even help him from the next day onwards.

However shocked he maybe, he still felt fortunate to get a stable source of information.

If it was like the previous days before the betrayal of Shi Hun, Fan Lin would have asked the handler to get the information he wanted.

But after the betrayal, the handler and her group were attacked and were currently dead to the world. They were now just living as the shop assistants of Fan Lin and didn't have anything with the information world since the danger to their lives was greater than they could imagine.

With the secret influence of the Qiangu Donfeng and his various organisations, Fan Lin couldn't even hire other information handlers since he might be the one who will be sold out.

Money was great to a point but personal life was still more important. More so when you are facing a giant at the top of the world.

Fan Lin also couldn't fully trust any of the Shrek's students who were a part of the Spirit Pagoda.

Hence, after a lot of thinking, getting Gu Yue to be his informer was the best outcome for him. As for Gu Yue suddenly turning out to be an enemy and having emotional conflicts with the protagonist, that was such a cliche plotline that Fan Lin disregarded it.

'The author already did this twice in the second book. So repeating the cliche when his livelihood depended on the book wasn't likely.'

'The reader base has always been fickle to begin with.'

'I should still consider it as a scenario that could happen and use Gu Yue to the best of her abilities while I still can.'

Fan Lin thought while looking at the Blacksmith area of the Shrek Academy.

A few days has passed and Feng Wuyu, the Saint Blacksmith who said that it would take around a week to gather the necessary people, gathered them under a week.

'It hasn't even been three days since he said that and now this. Are the people of Shrek that free?'

Fan Lin called Feng Wuyu who asked him to come to a specific place in the Blacksmith area.

It was his office.

Fan Lin quietly followed the directions of Feng Wuyu through the soul communicator and reached a workshop that had its door opened.

He entered it and was greeted by unknown people. There were four people and they were looking at Fan Lin that was standing at the entrance.

The atmosphere stayed silent as none of the party spoke.

"Can you show them your Battle Armor?"

Feng Wuyu said after fake coughing to start a conversation.

"A force of nature broke them a few days ago."

Fan Lin seriously answered.

"Huh?"

The four of them looked at him with varied emotions that were difficult to explain. Fan Lin showed the barely recognisable gauntlets which had recovered two three small parts of them.

They all gathered around him and began analysing the few parts of the three world battle armor that remained, as Fan Lin didn't come to them, they came to him instead.

Now four adults were surrounding and making comments on the hands of a child in the middle of the entrance of the renowned Saint Rank Blacksmith of Shrek Academy.

"How did you? They were... how? Three days! how...?"

Feng Wuyu couldn't help but mutter while blankly looking at the nearly torn apart battle Armor. He looked at the face of the calm and emotionless Fan Lin and wanted to punch him hard for breaking a battle armor to this degree.

"What happened again?"

One of the people asked.

"A calamity befell on me, reminding me once again that nature's wrath was the most terrifying. It was a bad experience."

Fan Lin answered.

"I do sense natural elements around it."

The same person said again and the others internally nodded.

"Any ways to restore it?"

Fan Lin asked them. Three word Battle Armor could restore itself over time but they were renowned professionals, they must have more insightful information on the three word Battle Armor and its secrets than Fan Lin.

Maybe they knew of ways to restore it.

"Yeah. Just imbued it with you soul power and blood essence and it will recover in a while. However it will take time depending on the amount of soul power and blood essence you use."

Feng Wuyu replied to Fan Lin's question. Fan Lin was right, they knew it.

"Ohh, that's easy. Let's talk about the creation of the rest of the armour pieces then."

Fan Lin flatly remarked without any emotions.

The four people looked at him as if not understanding what he meant by that for sometime while Feng Wuyu curtly replied.

"How? We were planning on studying your three word Battle Armor gauntlets to understand and base the future creation but... How?"

"Can't you just ignore all that and restart from scratch while creating the rest of the pieces. What's the most that can happen?"

Fan Lin said. Now all of them were staring at him.

"One, you would die, two, there would be no harmony between the pieces results in a weaker Battle Armor and lastly soul refinement would be a problem."

"Hmm. I didn't want to say that before since it was a little bit of a secret of mine but my third soul skill grants me a really close affinity with metals and soul refinement. You will succeed in a single trial. So will the harmony synchronisation."

"Till the time you can create an alloy with above 95% affinity, there would be no problem in balancing harmony of the rest of the pieces."

"Lastly, if the death you are speaking of is related to exploding due to energy then don't worry, my energy physique will take care of it."

"There was a reason why I was able to have a three word Battle Armor when I was a Soul Master. Unlike the others, MY Battle Armor solely depends on the craft of the Craftsmen who are creating them, not me. If the Craftsmen are good, my battle armor will obviously be good and if not..."

Fan Lin paused as he looked at the four people.

"Shall we start then? Show me the best you can offer and I will pay you thrice the market price. That was the deal that I made with the previous Craftsmen and the deal still remains."

Fan Lin said. His eyes dead calm, just like a thundering volcano.

His words were the truth. He didn't lie. The previous craftsmen did their best to analyse his situation and this was the conclusion they came to.

The four of them looked at him with visible twitchs on their face. They knew that Fan Lin was trying to rile them up... and he had succeeded.

"Haah Brat, who did you say has poor craft?"

Feng Wuyu said with anger and passion. The other three internally agreed with his words.

"Time will tell that."

Fan Lin added fuel to the fire and they all had didn't let him leave the workshop for the next three days.

They obviously discussed and planned and discussed again while giving their all.

[What were you thinking? Perverts(●__●)]

Three days later. They all prepared the first complete draft. It was a headpiece.

The headpiece/helmet/crown enhances the soul master's defense from any physical attacks aiming at the head, from spiritual to soul attacks. Its design depends on the spirit and combat style.

But this wasn't what Fan Lin wanted it for.

Some helmets are designed to enhance the wearer's spiritual realm, allowing a Spirit Domain Realm to reach half-step Divine Origin Realm.

Fan Lin didn't know what the Spirit Domain Realm or Divine Origin Realm meant since this wasn't covered in his course yet but it was obviously higher than his current Spiritual realm.

Currently he was in the Spirit Abyss realm.

The Spiritual realm were :

1 - 99: Spirit Origin realm, then;

100 - 499: Spirit Connection realm followed by,

500 - 4999: Spirit Sea realm and lastly Fan Lin's current rank,

5000 - 19,999: Spirit Abyss realm.

Fan Lin's Spirit Power was around 12000+ and he didn't know what's after this.

There was no point in learning about it now and neither was it in his grade 2 course.

But Fan Lin wasn't content with just this much Spirit power. He wanted more but as his Spirit Power climbed higher on the Spiritual realm scale, it became harder and harder for him to raise it.

So he will take a shortcut and use external force to directly up his rank. Since he can, he obviously will.

As for why he wanted to do that. His second skill solely depended on his Spirit Power and the amount of Spirit Power decided the level of Spirit souls that a person can absorb.

All in all, higher Spirit Power was never a bad thing.

That's why, he wanted the first piece to be the headpiece (helmet or crown by others).

After three days worth of hardwork and bloodshot eyed discussions, the four craftsmen had finally met Fan Lin's high standards and used all of their self control to not strangle Fan Lin in the process.

Finally all of it paid off really well and they felt alive after a long time.

"Let's start."

Fan Lin casually said. He was still fine without taking any rest for the past three days since he did nothing but point out whatever he didn't like and sat at a corner.

It couldn't be said the same about the rest of the people as Feng Wuyu regularly left to teach his new discipline while the others wrecked their brains to find the best path to create his armour without causing any problems.

They somewhat believed Fan Lin on his words that it wouldn't matter if they completely disregarded trying to mix and match with the other two pieces but they wouldn't completely trust a word of a kid who wasn't even Rank 7 in his profession.

"Not today kid, not today. let's do this next week. You should attend your classes normally by then."

Feng Wuyu said and picked Fan Lin along with the chair he was sitting on and threw him far away from the Blacksmith area. They had enough of Fan Lin for the week.

Fan Lin's Soul Saint physique was a well known fact by know as the four craftsmen inquired about the limitations of Fan Lin from a certain stalker of his.

The results were shocking but it also became the reason why they could add the most insane and groundbreaking ideas of their own on the table.

Many of which were directly rejected by Fan Lin but some did survive the harsh criticism and were going to be implemented in the future pieces.

....

Fan Lin landed in front of the working students dormitory with graceful steps.

After Feng Wuyu had thrown him towards the direction of the working students dormitory, Fan Lin covered himself in his Crystallokinesis Armor and safely glided to the working students dormitory.

He gently put the chair on his hands near his room. It was a good chair.

"I will gift it to Gu Yue since I don't use my room."

He used his Crystallokinesis to fall a small wall and engraved the letters : To Gu Yue, on it and left the chair near it.

"It's still noon, I should use the Boundless training area."

'I am a big hearted man, I won't hold a grudge against Feng Wuyu.'

Fan Lin left the working students dormitory leaving a chair and crystal plaque in front of the protagonists room.

....

Extras.

In the Evening.

Tang Wulin, Gu Yue, Xu Xiaoyan and Xie Xie were returning to the working students dormitory after finishing their working students task when they saw Yuanen Yehui standing in front of a weird crystal wall that was in front of their room.

When they neared, Yuanen Yehui sensed them and then turned to look at the crystal and then at them. After repeating it a few times, he slowly whispered and left the area.

"Why a chair?"

While the rest of them were looking at the leaving figure of Yuanen Yehui, Gu Yue blankly looked at the green crystal and its engraving. She then gazed at the chair.

"Why a chair?"

Xie Xie was the one who said the question that came to her mind. The others were just as bewildered by the sudden appearance of a wall in front of their room.

"And who left it?"

They were visibly confused and looked at Gu Yue who ignored the chair and went to her room. They all followed her, still confused about it.

"A chair isn't something you would use as a flirting material, right?"

Xie Xie muttered again but no one answered him.

They all began to cultivate while putting the mystery chair aside.

PS - They were poor and needed the working students tasks as a way of sustenance unlike a certain someone.

So how did you like the Extra feature. There were some parts of the chapters that I wanted to add but adding it was destroying the flow of the story a little bit.

So as I was reading Jobless siblings, I got this idea.

I can just put parts like this as a seperate extra.

Cheers.

....

None of you guessed.
