New Gomuan Academy

"The academy was named after the Continent that we were living but with new found glory so it was called New Gomuan Academy. Rotha, Organia, and Zerian reached a concensus that they would help on protecting the Order and the Academy. They all settled for a temporary alliance."

It was all history of the academy. Theory class was all about the facts that the academy had. It was given by Frizzia when she used her ability to look back at the past. Some were amazed and some were suspicious.

"Is there a question you want to ask? I will only answer three question."

Ytra raised her hand and asked "Why did you think that the three countries only reached a temporary alliance? As far as I know, we, the Rotha Empire, promised to never break the alliance."

"Ytra, you know to yourself and everybody here that there was no certain in this world. As much as I want to peek at the future my ability couldn't reach a final end. It only gave me an answer that a great change will occur. Next question."

After Frizzia gave that answer everybody was silent. I looked at them and saw that everyone was thinking of a question that could help them. I saw Liam lift his hand "What do you mean by a great change and what was certain on the future?"

Everyone looked at him and gave a nodded of approval. "When I said great change, it was caused by people changing their ways and left their position to pursue power. If you think that the peace right now is for good then you will soon find yourself lost in a battlefield. Blood will shed and bodies will pile up. Chaos is the only certain in the future."

I raised my hand and asked a question "If chaos was the only certain in the future then where was the order in the future?" It was a question that needed to be answered. If chaos was present in the future then where was the people who called their selves Order when the situation was bad.

"A good question. I also have the same question when I saw the future... but it kept changing. The future kept changing that was why only chaos was certain in the future. Maybe Order was still there but, it couldn't help as much as we could. You will know soon why I left the answer in your hands. For I could only tell bits of the future that kept changing. Then see you tomorrow." With that answer Frizzia finally left the classroom. Everyone was in a brooding manner. Where would we be in the future? Enemy of the Order or protector of our dreams? Power. I was certain that power was the cause of it.

Sooner or later a country would betray the others. If Elina said was true, then the Academy was the safest place to be. Order HQ was not because it could be infiltrated by those who seek power. But if a new student who could defeat a teacher could come and was tainted by darkness then I wouldn't know where the safest place would be.

"Don't worry about the future. Only I could stand at the top." Liam approached me told me that. It irked me that he was confident with his answer and it also annoyed me that I agreed on that. "You only have to know who your allies are. No need to fret on things that was uncertain." Liam left me looking at him like he was not the Liam who was over-bearing. He might have comforted me when he provoked me. I was confused but focused on what he said.

He was right. No need to fret. I only needed to find allies that I could trust. Elina, Cynthia, and Frizzia were the allies I trusted the most. Velker and Liam could also count since they were also from Organia.

"Rain, if only you could cope up with it then you would be one of the strong people in the future.." Frizzia said looking at Rain's back. Rain didn't saw Frizzia but Liam did and heard her. Liam was really on point. He could feel that Rain was special as he was. No one pointes it out but he could feel it. The reason was unknown to him but it reassured him to find someone who was also like him, born to be on top.

Tomorrow came and it was time for Combat Class. Everybody was with their team. Clint was earlier than us waiting for us to come. "Today I would let you experience real battle. Follow me." Clint walked out of the classroom and we followed him.

We followed him at the underground floor that was non-existent before but with Clint, stairs appeared in front of us. Clint went down and we followed him. The stairs were wide that could fit all of us even if we walked side by side. We reached the floor and saw seven doors. "There are seven doors. Starting today you will experience the battle with different terrains. What you lack is experience. Get as much as you can with these doors. Door 1 is a grassland, in here you will experience basic knowledge about camping out with the occasional battle with beasts. Door 2 is a waterfall where you have to climb the waterfall with your abilities while fighting. Door 3 is a mountain, in here you will experience a battle with the occasional earthquake. Door 4 is an ice forest where survivability is hard. Door 5 is a foggy forest, in here you have to find each one of you and together find the exit with the occasional battle. Door 6 is a cave like maze that will test your tenacity and perseverance. Door 7 is a secret. You will only find it out when you all experienced the six doors."

"But today was your lucky day. Only three were allowed to go inside. Not three teams but three people. Let me remind you, your deaths would be your responsibility. I will be back." Clint said and left us.

No one wanted to go inside but I did. I could definitely survive because I already experience a battle with a rare beast. I could also train inside it. I walked in the front and raised my hand. "I would like to nominate myself to be one of the three lucky students."

Everyone was surprised at first but all of them nodded. Liam also walked at the front and stood beside me. Velker was reluctant so was Ytra. Clint came after a while and saw that only two of us were willing to try. "It is quite a surprise that two volunteered. But don't worry, one new student will accompany you." After Clint said that there was a sound coming from the stairs. We all looked on who would be the third student. A boy with a bob cat brown hair descended the stairs. He was young. He would be 15 years old if I based on his appearance. He looked mischievous yet he looked... cute. I coughed "Is he one of us?"

"Yes, he is Zigz Ruric. He will be part of Liam's group and three others. But for now he will be the third student. Now proceed to Door 1. You will spend 4 days inside but it only amounted 1 hour in here."

We all walked in the front of the door. Liam, Zigz, and I stood side by side and entered the door. It was a door without knob. It opened itself and a blinding light greeted us.

I looked left and right and couldn't see any one. "It seems that we were separated right from the start. Time for training!"
