Grassland

"Rain, Liam, and Zigz, three exceptional students. I wonder how would they fare. Class, you are free to go. We couldn't watch them from the outside. Class dismiss." Clint said to the students and led them upstairs. After he made sure that no one was around he went back downstairs. He might not see them from the outside but it was different if he also went there.

"Stop. A teacher is not allowed to go inside." Frizzia suddenly appeared beside the door. "You know that the difficulty rises when there is a strong person inside. It was already set to higher level when Rain and Liam went there. It might be an actual tower attack if you also go inside."

"I-I see. Please forgive my conduct. I will just wait here and see to it if they are alright."

"Do not worry. There is a way to see what they are doing inside." Frizzia summoned a crystal orb. "This could use to watch what is happening inside." Frizzia went on the door and let the crystal orb sucked into the door.

Images was seen on the door after Frizzia inserted the crystal orb. "Now you can see what is happening inside but, do not let others know it until they reach the final door." Clint nodded and they both looked at the images sent in real time through the door.

Liam, Zigz and Rain were in a different locations. Rain was hunting despite the level of the beast. It was outside of his level. It was black rank rare beast Urarean bear. Liam on the side was only focusing on finding the two while occasionally killing beast at his level, a white rank rare beast, snow leopard. It was an agile type yet he killed it like he could see it. Zigz on the other just laid on the grass comfortably. No beast could approach him with the card he summoned. He was also a like a summoner but also not. It was a dark elemental summoning. A black figure with a scythe was beside Zigz staring at him while also paying attention to their surroundings.

"What is his ability? I only knew that he uses cards as a medium to summon but how could he summon that level?"

"I also don't know but his ability is evolving in real time. He was also a genius but the only thing that was holding back was his laziness. No one can excite him. This might be a good oppurtunity for him to find some rivals or friend who could keep up with him."

"So you knew right from the start that the two would volunteeer? Zigz was on Liam's team as per your order but why did you only let them be known one by one?"

"It was for the good of our future. Those kids would see that someone at their age was already on a different level. I also want the others to grow not to be overwhelmed by the big difference of the last team."

"Team 1 is weak. Team 2, 3 and 4 are balance. On the other hand Team 5 is too strong. If we let them join on the first day then other teams were at a disadvantage. What is your true goal?"

"My goal? It's to see the end." Clint was shocked. End, it was a vague answer yet he knew. He knew that all f them wanted the end. The end of chaos. The end of wars. The end of meaningless sacrifice. They needed someone that could finally break the status quo. They were at a big disadvantage. Only one tower could be attacked. The others would disappear and reappear one by one again. The others could try but when no one was left alive inside all the towers would emerge. It was futile effort to attack aimlessly. It could only lead to their demise, that was why Justice was built. It would hunt people who would attack a tower without letting the higher ups know.

Liam finally saw Zigz lying on the grass. He only sighed and approached him. The grassland has no night, the three soon understood that. The time flowed differently but indistinct.

Zigz just waved on Liam "You finally find me. Where's the other?" Zigz called back his card.

"So that was your ability. It looked the same as me but different." Liam said and also sat near Zigz.

Zigz whistled "I may be young but I'm strong. I'm adult at heart and mind." They stayed silent after that. The occasional wind that blew was the only noise that could be heard. The beasts that passed them never engaged them. It was quite a sight that beasts avoided them.

"Where is Rain? He should have been here. Oh, I'm Liam by the way. Liam Howell."

Zigz peeked his one eye open and raised his brow. "Howell? As in Nifa Howell?" Liam nodded "Sweet. So a noble from Organia was really this good. I knew from the start that you're trying to find us. While Rain, hm... it was not in his idea, at all."

"I see. He also used this time to train, huh."

Zigz understanding the interest of Liam when it came to Rain only nodded. He was also interested in Rain. Through his ability, Zigz was spying on them. He placed a card on each of them. They were unaware of it, of course. He did it right before they were completely sucked in. Only four students could possibly threaten him in that class. He was sure of it. It was also a part of his ability.

Liam and Zigz spent the time waiting for the time to go back talking and introducing their selves. They also came to the conclusion that they would be in a team for a long time. They were the same in a sense.

Rain just finished his hunting when he felt that the beasts no longer approach him. He only used his gun and some elemental bullets yet he completely overpowered them. The beast might not be his match. He was too strong for them. He was also wondering why would there be an Urarean bear on a grassland. He only sighed and finally looked for his two companions.

Frizzia and Clint saw all of it. "It was time for them to come back. I should leave. Here, only use this when necessary. You could only use it twice per orb." Frizzia handed five crystal orb to Clint. "Use it wisely. Never let anyone see it. I only allowed it because it was you. You should know that not all of the teachers were on our side." Clint nodded and Frizzia left the floor.

"He's here." Zigz finally opened his eyes and stood up. "He might not be on our team but he's strong. He might catch up to you someday."

Liam looked at Zigz wondering why this guy took an interest on Rain and him. "You too, be careful not to be devoured by him."

Liam also stood up and waited for Rain to reach them but before Rain could reach them a dimensional crack appeared.

A deafening roar blast through the crack and a paw appeared on the small crack and landed on the grass. The grass withered when the paw touched it. The crack grew bigger until a bear emerged from the crack. A bear that has a fire blazing all over it's body looked a bear with a magma armor. The temperature rose and sweat dripped from his forehead. The grassland completely withered around them.

Zigz also looked alarmed and already preparing to attack. It could be a final boss. The bear roared and struck the ground with his two heavy paws. Liam and Zigz evaded the attack and distanced themselves from the bear. They looked like a dog compared to the bear, but they could definitely took it down with the help of Rain. He could feel it. Rain was also different like him but was not. He took a stance and summoned a black double edged sword. He shouldn't think too much of Rain right now. What he needed was focus to take down the beast.

On the other hand Rain saw an Urarean bear different from Urara. It was fully grown and he looked a total boss in a dungeon. Without using his abilities the upcoming battle would be hard. He didn't know if they could see them outside but if it really was a dire situation he would use his Elemental ability.

"Liam... bzzzzt... Rain... bzzzzt, Zigz Ruric. Confirmed Challengers. Analyzing Challengers. Computing... Grade Confirmed. Mission Confirmed. Defeat the Blazing Urarean Bear in one move." a mechanical male voice rang out from somewhere. "Failure to do so may lead to death. I repeat failure may lead to death."

Rain, Zigz and Liam all took a stance after hearing the voice. They listened very carefully because it might be important but they never thought that it was that serious. Now that it came to that, they would have to finish it in one move. They wouldn't hold back anymore. It's time to finish it.

"They're that good, huh."
