Well anyway, that's why Lawliet is quite doubtful of him. Doflamingo is smart, he knows that if he joined them and tried to hide his knowledge, Doflamingo will know it.

And if you're asking why he didn't make his own business and started his own company.

It's because if he did, it will just change the situation, and Doflamingo will be the one who will approach him, make him work under him, or forced him to work under him.

"W-wait, what?! I'm right?" Asshol widened his eyes, asking while pointing at him, finally realizing.

"Furfurfurfur! Yeah! Although, I don't like you, you are right, what you said about The Bat is true. . . But--" Hearing the 'But' Asshol immediately froze on his spot, sweats began to accumulate on his forehead.

While Lawliet, in the sidelines, narrowed his eyes looking at Doflamingo.

'What is that 'but' at the end? Did he know who I am?' He thought, asking himself.

Then he looked at the apple Doflamingo thrown, picked it, and brushed the dust off of it.

'Why did he throw this Apple? I like Apples, it's sweet. Such a waste.' He thought, then he looked on his sides if there's someone looking at him, then he took a bite on it.

"It's still clean based on the three seconds rule, it didn't pass for three seconds on the ground so it's good." He stated while taking a bite on it again.

Unknown to him, Doflamingo took a glance in his surroundings and saw him.

Doflamingo looked at him head to toes then contemplated.

'Hmm. . . He's weak, but he have potential.' Doflamingo thought while looking at him.

"The Bat is doing it, not because he's afraid of exposing his identity." Doflamingo said looking at Asshol again.

"there's more to that. He's doing it on purpose. Furfurfurfur!" He laughed.

Asshol who can't make a move since earlier, froze more on his spot.

He doesn't know what's running in the head of Doflamingo, he doesn't know what he should do to get out of this situation.

"He's acting like a God." Doflamingo grimly said.

"Because no one knows him, everyone doesn't know who they should avoid."

"He can be me, he can be you, or he can be anyone who's watching around us."

"Everyone's subconscious are telling: "Don't do something that may aggravate the Bat because he is watching" Without any of you noticing."

"I hate to say this. But, this Batman is cunning." He said. His smile turning upside down.

But he smiled again in the next moment.

"But, although I praise him, that doesn't mean anything. I just hate false rumor spreading that the Bat is afraid." He said standing up and brushing his knees.

"You will create chaos in the City if that kind of rumor spread, and drived this nutheads to hunt the Batman." He stood straight, and walked deep inside the store.

"If that happened, I'm afraid my business may got ruined. And I. Don't. Like. It. Happening." He said firmly stopping on his track and looking back at Asshol.

"Actually, I like what he is doing."

The people who saw this on the sidelines, didn't react that much on Asshol getting beheaded.

This type of thing, is a common occurence here.

Before Batman appeared, Gang wars are always happening here. People getting burned alive, People suddenly getting shot, and People suddenly falling on the ground, after getting poisoned are a daily thing here.

This place is really like Gotham.

After what happened. Lawliet walked away from the store and goes towards an abandoned building near the hills in the edge of the port.

This is where he temporarily reside.

He can't always go to his Bat cave because there's a chance people may notice him, and notice his disappearing.

Putting down the things he buyed on the way here. He grabbed an apple from the sack, and jump, and lie his back on his bed.

He realized something about Doflamingo. That is whatever trick he do to trick him, Doflamingo will always notice it.

"What should I do?" He asks himself while taking a bite at the apple.

"How about working with the Marines?" He thought.

"Mhmm. . . Nahh! They will cage me like what they did to Eggman(Vegapunk), and force me to work under them. I don't want to lived a life like that, that sucks!"

"But, I need materials to build things, and only the Marines are able to give it to me except Doflamingo. What should I do?" He rise to his bed and sat on it side.

"And that Devil Fruit. Only Doflamingo or the Marines are the one who can possibly give it to me, and that fruit have an eater in the series so I need to be faster."

"Without that Fruit, many of my Projects will be put in the Garbage."

"I need to---" Lawliet suddenly cut his words.
