A deathly silence took over the maritime area after Hashirama's death. Xebec, Roger, and Kong looked at each other intently, the tension palpable in the air. The alliance that had united them against a common enemy had broken, leaving only uncertainty about the future.

"Roger, why don't we join forces?" Xebec broke the silence with a fierce smile. His eyes gleamed with a thrilling emotion as he spoke coldly. "If we kill the Marines here, the entire sea will be free, as you desire, Roger. At that moment, everyone can do what they want without restrictions."

"Shihahahaha!" laughed Shiki heartily, delighted with the idea. "Burying all the Marines here would be the best!"

"Shut up!" Sengoku intervened sternly. "Xebec, Shiki, are you trying to kill us here? If you dare to attack us, the World Government won't let you go. Have you forgotten how Hashirama died?"

Roger remained silent, observing the scene with a piercing gaze. Xebec's proposal was tempting, but it was also dangerous.

"Kakakakaka," laughed Xebec with a fearless expression. "Obviously, the World Government can't frequently use the power from a moment ago; otherwise, we pirates would have been dead a long time ago. Roger, I'll ask you one last time, why don't you join?"

Xebec turned his head and looked at the smiling Roger, awaiting his response.

"That's right..." murmured Roger, directing a glance at Garp, who hadn't said a word. "The World Government shouldn't use that kind of destructive power to deal with us. After all, we no longer pose a threat like Hashirama."

"Then why not?" Xebec asked with a wide grin. "As long as we cooperate, killing them will be easy."

Without hesitation, Roger stepped forward and nodded. "Agreed."

Rayleigh and Gaban exchanged perplexed looks but wisely asked no further questions. They knew their captain well enough to know that he always had his reasons.

"Ready to fight!" exclaimed Xebec with enthusiasm. "Let's leave Kong and the others in this maritime area to keep Hashirama company."

"Understood, Captain Rocks..." responded Shiki, Silver Axe, John, and Ochoku with mocking smiles, gripping their weapons tightly.

Edward Newgate hesitated for a moment but finally nodded reluctantly. "Fine, this is the last time I obey Captain Rocks' orders."

Roger's sudden change took Kong, Sengoku, and Zephyr by surprise. As high-ranking Marine officers with extensive combat experience, they knew reasoning with high-caliber pirates was a futile task. However, the unexpected turn of events left them confused and disoriented.

After the initial shock, Kong, Sengoku, and Zephyr entered battle mode. Three terrifying auras emanated from them, ready to defend against any attack. Their strength was not to be underestimated. If Rocks and Roger wanted to eliminate them, they would have to fight with everything they had.

Amid the tension, Garp, who had remained silent until then, slowly took out his snacks, chewed them calmly, and surprisingly said, "Roger, I hope you can keep your promise."

"Don't worry!" Roger replied with a gentle smile. "As long as we kill Xebec, everything will be fine."

Garp and Roger's words silenced the deck. No one could believe that Roger, who had just agreed to cooperate with Rocks, would switch sides at a critical moment. Even more terrifying was the tone of their voices, suggesting they had already reached a prior agreement.

"Roger, what are you saying?!" Xebec shouted furiously. "Did you cooperate with the Marines to betray me?"

Bluntly, Roger replied coldly, "Xebec, you and Hashirama deserve to die. Only if you die can the Roger Pirates fulfill their ambitions."

Xebec was silent, observing Roger with a piercing gaze. He couldn't comprehend his ally's betrayal.

Shiki, Silver Axe, John, Ochoku, and Newgate, who were already preparing for battle, also showed expressions of disbelief. They couldn't understand what was happening.

"Incredible, Garp!" exclaimed Kong, as he, Sengoku, and Zephyr looked at Garp with wide eyes. The surprise and bewilderment were evident on their faces. This unexpected turn of events was something they had never imagined.
