War is coming

So I decided to change Alex's name to Alexia since she's a girl and all.

The crowd was buzzing with excitement as they watched Lami ready to face off against multiple opponents who wanted the famous Naginata blade as it was a Meito ( one of the twenty-one Great Grade Blades).

Lami tightened her grip on the naginata's handle and stepped forward, ready for battle. However, the more she held it she felt that the blade was special as if it was alive in her hand.

"You're quite the lively one my frosty little whisperer," Lami muttered under her breath as she felt a strange connection to the blade.

' This blade has a strong and untamed spirit however...' thought Lami as she took a deep breath and coated the blade with her Busoshoku Haki and she released her Haoshoku,' I will make sure that it knows its place.' As Lami poured her Haki into the blade, she could feel the weapon coming to life in her hand.

The blade started emitting a faint blue aura as if it was resonating with Lami's Haki. She could sense the fear coming from her opponents as they saw the glowing blade in her hand and they could feel her overwhelming Haoshoku Haki.

' What the hell is up with this crazy girl and that aura of that blade' thought her opponents as they felt their bodies freeze up in front of Lami. ' What is this pressure that Lami is emitting? Is this the power she told me about?' thought Alexia with fear and awe in her eyes.

" Argh! Don't get cocky just because you have a powerful blade, girl" spoke Diamond as he charged toward Lami as sent a barrage of crystal attacks at her.

Lami was ready for the attack as she sliced all the crystals with ease and sent a swift counter-attack with her naginata, slicing through Diamond's defenses and knocking him out cold.

" You're the one who got cocky just because you ate a Logia Devil Fruit," said Lami as she swirled her naginata around with a smirk on her face.

The crowd cheered at the display of power and skill and she defeated her opponent with ease. Lami turned toward Fujimura who unsheathed his sword and got into a stance ready to fight Lami.

" You want to dance with me swordsman?" asked Lami as she got into a fighting stance and wielded her naginata with ease. " The maid is all yours Alexia I'll take care of this one," added Lami as she turned her attention to Fujimura.

Fujimura charged toward Lami with his swift swordsmanship but Lami was ready for him. She blocked his attacks with her naginata and countered, forcing him to step back and defend.

The sound of swords clashing filled the arena as Lami and Fujimura engaged in an intense battle. The crowd was in awe of their skill and power as both combatants were moving at high speed that was barely visible to the naked eye.

On the other side of the arena, Alexia was engaged in her battle as she was up against Delta who is a trained assassin. Delta had the upper hand initially, but Alexia was able to hold her own using her agility and quick combos to keep Delta on her toes.

" What are your intentions with the young Miss?" asked Delta as she dodged an attack from Alexia. " Young Miss? If you are talking about Amelia, she's my new friend and I have no ill intentions toward her," replied Alexia as she delivered a kick that sent Delta a few steps back.

The battle between Lami and Fujimura was reaching climax as both combatants were getting exhausted but they were not ready to give up.' This blade keeps draining my Haki and making me lose my focus,' thought Lami as she blocked a strike from Fijimura.

With swift movement Lami used the blunt side of the naginata to knock Fujimura's sword away before landing a heavy blow with the sharp end to his chest, knocking him out instantly.

The crowd erupted into cheers as Lami emerged victorious in her battle against Fujimura, showcasing her skills as a powerful fighter.

The intense battles filled the arena with energy as Alexia also delivered a final blow that knocked Delta out cold, leaving her standing victorious against the trained assassin.

Amelia who was sitting amongst the crowd was shocked at the display of power and skill from her new friends. ' These guys are monsters, I think Lami could beat my older sister,' she thought as she was amazed at how much strength her friends possessed.

The battles had come to an end as the competitors left the arena, wiping sweat from their brows. The battles displayed the true strength of the fighters and left the audience feeling sad as the show was over.

Lami, Alexia and Amelia were currently watching the fireworks show which was the perfect end to the festival. " It's a shame that the festival is over however, I had the best time of my life with both of you," said Amelia as she turned and smiled at her friends.

" You know that offer to join my crew is still open," replied Lami with a smile, "I can teach you how to fight and we can sail the seas together." Alexia nodded in agreement, " Yeah you'd be a great addition to the crew and we could have fun on our adventures".

" Thanks for the offer but I need to return home before my older sister goes nuts," responded Amelia with a smile," But I'll always keep it in mind and maybe one day I'll be a pirate like you guys."

Lami and Alexia laughed at her response and hugged her tightly. Amelia smiled and hugged them back feeling grateful for all the fun memories she shared with her new friends.

" Amelia-sama your sister gave me orders to make sure that we sail you home safely," said Delta interrupting their moment.

" It's you the maid who tried to kill me!" exclaimed Alexia as she was surprised to see Delta pop out of nowhere. Amelia was also surprised by Delta's sudden appearance and was even more shocked when she heard the news that her sister sent Delta to retrieve her.

" Delta, is my older sister back at the island?" asked Amelia with a nervous tone. " Hai she came back yesterday and sent me here to fetch you," responded Delta with a serious tone.

Amelia felt a sense of dread as she realized that she might be in trouble with her sister. " Is your sister that badass? You all seem to be scared of her," asked Lami with a curious tone.

" Believe me you don't want to mess with her," replied Delta," Lady Olivia is a force to be reckoned with and is a far better assassin than I am and I'm the best assassin amongst the other maids," added Delta with a serious tone.

" Hold up you said Olivia as in the Ghost Lady? No wonder I thought your maid attire looked familiar, are you two from the Nova assassins?" asked Lami with surprise.

" Yes my full name is Nova D. Amelia and the Ghost lady is my older sister," confirmed Amelia as she was scratching her head nervously. Lami and Alexia looked at Amelia in shock as Amelia's clumsiness made her seem like an airhead from a regular family.

" I see then I guess we're leaving with you guys since my goal for coming here was to find any information on the Ghost Lady," spoke Lami with a grin.

" Is she the one you were looking for early?" asked Alexia. " Yep she's the one and we now know how to find her thanks to Amelia," answered Lami with a smile.

In a certain castle a man was sitting on his throne enjoying the peace and quiet of his kingdom until a messenger barged in without knocking, " Your Majesty! Prince Endo has demanded the soldiers from our kingdom to join his army as he is going to attack Dragonville!" the messenger reported.

The king's face darkened as he listened to the news. " Isn't Dragonville where his fiancee is from?" questioned the king with a furrowed brow. The messenger nodded, " Yes that is where Princess Alexia is from," said the messenger.

" Then why would he attack her home after we just signed a peace treaty with them?!" roared the king in a furious tone. The messenger flinched, " It seems the princess has run away from home with a stranger and Prince Endo is blaming the king of Dragonville for letting her do as she pleases," the messanger responded.

The king sighed, " This is a mess this means the two kingdoms will have to go to war if the marriage is off," he muttered under his breath. The situation was dire and the king knew he needed to act fast before things escalate further.

However, his thoughts were interrupted by the messenger as he spoke up, " Your Majesty there is one more thing," in a hesitant voice.

The king turned to the messenger with a raised brow and spoke, " What is it speak!" the messenger quickly responded, " It seems he has sent a letter to the Nova family requesting the aid of their assassin group."

The king widen his eyes at the mention of the Nova family, " Why would that idiot bring the Nova into this? Our alliance with them ended when the former head of the assassins died, does he want to start a war with that psycho daughter of theirs?" exclaimed the king in a worried tone.

" The prince has ordered the kidnapping of their youngest daughter to force Lady Olivia to comply with his demands," the messenger finished.

'....' The king was lost for words after hearing the report from his messenger. " DOES THAT IDIOT WANT TO SEE MY KINGDOM IN RUIN?!" shouted the king in anger and fury.
