Cursed Blade

Alex made her way out of the arena and headed back to sit with Lami and Amelia. As she sat down Amelia turned to her and exclaimed, " You were amazing out there!" Alex grinned and replied, " Thanks" before adding, " I couldn't have done it without you two cheering me"

Lami smiled and said, " Of course, I'll always be there for my troublesome princess," to which Alex rolled her eyes playfully.

" Alex is a Princess?!" gasped Amelia with intrigue " Oh yeah we didn't tell you," confirmed Lami with a smirk," She's a runaway princess who is always bringing trouble," added Lami.

Alex playfully nudged Lami and said, "Hey now, I'm not always in trouble!" The three girls laughed and continued to watch the rest of the tournament unfold.

The third slot wasn't that exciting as the winner of the match was clear from start as he had a logia devil fruit the Crystal Crystal fruit which has the fluidity of ice and the strength of diamonds or so they say.

They called him Diamond Head the captain of the Crystal Pirates feared by many in the sea of the North Blue. However, the crowd enjoyed it nonetheless.

During the last slot, Lami noticed a strange behavior from Amelia who seemed distracted and fidgety as her focus was on one of the fighters who was wearing a maid outfit.

" Are you okay Amelia? You seem distracted," asked Lami with a hint of concern in her voice. Amelia turned toward Lami with a nervous smile, " Oh no I have no idea who she is," she replied with a dismissive hand gesture.

" Huh? What are you talking?' asked Lami with confusion. ' Argh I slipped up," thought Amelia to herself as she tried to come up with a convincing excuse.

But before she could say anything the maid fighter made a swift movement and knocked out her opponents in a matter of seconds and then she made eye contact with Amelia in the crowd.

" She's got nice moves do you know her?" asked Lami interrupting Amelia's thought process. Amelia hesitated for a moment before answering, "Actually... she's one of my maids Delta is her name she's the strongest amongst my maids."

" Maids?" repeated Lami with surprise," Damn what the hell are you feeding your maids?" asked Lami with a chuckle as she watched the maid fighter gracefully exit the arena.

Amelia blushed and said, " I don't feed them anything special they're naturally gifted fighters?" Alex raised an eyebrow in curiosity," You have maids who are fighters?'

" Not just fighters more like assassins," answered Amelia causing Alex to gasp in shock.

Lami's eyes widened in amazement as she said, "Assassins? Wow you do live a fascinating life, Amelia," commented Lami with a smile on her face.

' It seems Amelia's life is not as simple as it appears,' thought Alex as she found herself intrigued by Amelia's mysterious life however she will soon later regret it.

Amelia smiled back, feeling a sense of relief that her secret was out but also apprehensive about what other secrets she had yet to reveal.

The final round of the tournament was about to begin and all the remaining fighters made their way into the fighting stage causing the crowd to erupt in cheer and excitement.

As the fighters took their positions, Amelia was currently sitting alone amongst the crowd. Alex was standing on the fighting stage ready for the fight and Amelia couldn't help but feel a sense of unease and anxiety as Lami left her saying she had to attend to something important that will surprise her.

She was worried that her newly found friend Alex would be endangered as she is up against her maid who is an assassin and a skilled fighter.

Amelia took a deep breath as she knew that Delta will not kill anyone unless she is ordered to do so. However, Amelia did not know that someone had instructed Delta to eliminate anyone who plays around with her.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the speaker that was announcing an additional fighter in the battle causing her to turn her attention to the new fighter that was entering the stage wondering who could be brave or stupid enough to enter the competition at such a late stage.

As the fighter entered Amelia felt like something strike her head as she sees the new fighter. " Lami!! What the hell are you doing there?!" exclaimed Amelia as she saw her friend walk into the stage swinging around her spear.

Lami waved toward Amelia and also toward Alex who was standing on the stage with three other fighters who were also confused at the turn of events and said," Surprise! I bet you guys didn't expect that huh?"

" Lami what are you doing here?!" asked Alex who was confused by Lami's actions and sudden appearance.

Lami suddenly pointed her finger toward where the prize of the tournament was placed and said, " I'm here for that bad boy," everyone turned toward the prize and saw that it was omitting a chilly aura.

The prize turned out to be a cursed Naginata blade with the power of ice that freezes even its user if he or she is weak. It is said that the blade has frozen all its previous users to death as they were not skilled enough to master its ice powers.

The name of the Naginata was Whispering Frost and if used properly one can harness the power of ice.

Lami had used bribery to enter the tournament at the last minute, knowing that she could not resist the temptation of such a powerful weapon.

As Lami was entering the stage three big tigers with sharp claws and teeth were walking toward the arena. The prize was then strapped on one of the tiger's backs, causing the fighters to realize that they would have to defeat each other and then defeat the tigers to claim Whispering Frost.

The crowd cheered in amazement and excitement as a new challenger appeared on the stage. *ding* *ding* *ding* the sound of the bell echoed as it indicated the beginning of the final battle.

The battle began with Diamond Head attacking fiercely with his cristal powers causing everyone to scatter except for Lami who stood her ground as she sliced the crystal said to be strong as diamonds with her spear.

The crowd was in awe as they thought no one can slice or break the crystal with such ease. Lami continued her attack as she sensed the presence of one tiger approaching her.

With fast-lightning speed, she turned around and lunged her spear toward the tiger's neck only to meet the sharp claws of the tiger as it blocked the attack.

" You tigers have a lot of strength huh? Well let's see if you guys can handle the power of ice!" exclaimed Lami as she called forth her ice powers and sent a wave of ice slashes toward the tiger freezing it in the instant.

Delta who came into this fight hoping to teach a lesson to Alex so that she will not mess with Amelia was now shocked at the display of power shown by Alex's companion Lami.

She still haven't given up as she took out dual short knives and charged toward Alex who was distracted by Lami's moves. Unfortunately, she did not reach Alex as a blade was heading for her head and she needed to dodge it.

" Don't forget about me," said the winner of slot 1 who was identified as Fujimura as he slashed toward Delta. " Don't get in my way bastard, I have to do my task I don't want to deal with that scary woman later on," replied Delta as she demonstrated her knife skills and she kept rotating them, slashing and stabbing toward her opponent.

The crowd was completely absorbed in the fight as it got more intense with each passing moment. One of the tigers made its way toward Delta and Fujimura interrupting their battle and as they turned they saw the tiger charging toward them at full force.

The two put their differences aside for a moment as they joined forces to take out the huge tiger. The audience cheered as Delta and Fujimura fought side by side showing great teamwork and coordination.

The remaining tiger that had the prize strapped on its back was now circled by Lami as she wanted the cursed Naginata blade for herself. Lami charged toward the tiger with her spear aiming for the prize when suddenly she was interrupted by the attack of crystals shooting toward her direction.

Lami swiftly y dodged the crystal attack and turned toward the origin of the attack to see Diamond head standing there with a determined look on his face.

" Looks like I have to deal with you as well," said Lami as she charged at Diamond with her spear, their weapons clashing in a shower of sparks. The battle between the two was intense with neither one ready to back down.

' Who the hell is this girl? How is she able to injure me like this?" thought Diamond surprised by Lami's skills and strength. The fight continued with Diamond and Lami exchanging blow after blow as the audience watched in awe.

Alex was battling the tiger that had the prize strapped into its back with her agility and speed dodging its attacks and trying to retrieve the prize.

As Alex was getting closer to the tiger she saw a flying figure which crashed with the tiger bringing it down. Alex realized that Lami was sent flying by her opponent and had crashed into the tiger and knocked it down.

Lami quickly got up and retrieved the Naginata from the tiger's back holding it up and started spinning it around as a chilly aura started to form around her.

The audience gasped as Lami unleashed a powerful attack with the Naginata shattering all the crystals that surrounded her in one swift motion.

' This is one untamed blade,' thought Lami as she felt the chill of the blade however the chill felt familiar and comforting at the same time.

" Lets have some fun," said Lami as she turned toward the fighters who were all eyeing the blade.
