Chapter 3:Normal Human Finishing The Interview

"I want him."

"Yes yes, we hear you. We are not deaf. We just don't see the reason why we should put him in your department. Operator will be a more suiting job for him."

"I agree. He lacks talent to be in your department. Have you at least go through his resume and CV. It is stated there. No mana, no chakra, no ki. No nothing. No nein non."

"I have read it. I have read every applicants that made through the first interview. I am not that ignorant."

"Yes you are not. But you are not making any sense right now Haliza. You want a normal human like him with no talent whatsoever to be in your department. To be in the frontline face to face with those abomination."

"I decide who is talented enough to be in my department! What is the use of all that talent if at the end of the day you are just going to persuade the fucking RRT to not kill people left and right? Huh?!"

"At least they have something for them. Mana, chakra, ki, good brain, excellent brain, great physique, excellent athletic skills, great motor skills but him? He is just a normal guy that is a little bit quirky."

"I like quirky. For 5 years. 5 fucking years. My department was flooded with emotionally and morally just people. Talented? Yes of course. Judgement? No. Often times their judgement kill them. Too much righteousness can kill you in this kind of job."

"But-"

"Put him in my department. I know what to do with him. A breath of fresh air is what my department need right now."

Haliza walked out of the room through the backdoor. Her heavy steps could be heard echoing through out the room as it fades away.

(Sigh)

"Call the guy in."

"B-b-but sir-"

"Call the guy in! I'm tired. Let's just finish this interview. Please."

Its already been 10 minutes. 2 minutes my ass. I'm hungry.

"Sir?"

"Yes"

"You can enter now."

I came back into the room. I don't know what happen but the interviewer looks exhausted.

"You don't have to sit. We have decided that you'll be put under The Guide department. The frontline department. You can go home now and packs your shirts and any essentials. After a week, we will call you here to go to our training camp. You will be staying there for 6 months before actually doing any field job. We hope you well."
