Chapter 32 The City Underworld

Fujitsu began to walk towards clair as she was applying pressure to her wounds to stop the bleeding.Fujitsu kneeled down to make eye to eye contact with clair who looked at him with fear in her eyes, she pulls out a dagger and points it at fujitsu.

"get away from me or i'll kill you"clair says as her hand shakes with the dagger, fujitsu tilts his head then raises his hand lightly and swiftly swings it to the left making sand knock the dagger out her hand, then began to slowly rise to stand tall over clair who continues to look at fujitsu with fear in her eyes.

"Tell me why those guys where trying to kill you back there" fujitsu says with a deep voice.

"Why should I tell you, you'll just try and kill me too" claire says with tears coming down her face.

"Maybe I will, maybe I won't will just have to see don't we" Fujitsu says as he got closer to clair and grabs her shirt by its collar and lifts her up.She be can to cough blood out as fujitsu did, she tried to make fujitsu loose his grip but failed.

"Just tell me what they were after so I don't have to resort to anything out of the extreme "Fujitsu says as sand began to rise up onto the walls.Clair looked down to see the sand moving up the wall.

"They were after the information on the calamity stones!" Clair says, fujitsu slowly puts her down on the ground.

"Tell me about these calamity stones"Fujitsu says as he squats down to come face to face with clair.

(10 minutes later)

fujitsu is running on top of roof tops looking for something specific as he does clair's voice began to echo through his head.

"The stones of calamity are known to be the blood of this god of destruction and if brought all together you can bring back the god of calamity herself and bring judgment to humanity, There are two known stones here in vakos others are scattered across the region is what I read and what I was told is there is one in the undercity of vakos" the voice of clair says.

Fujitsu finds an entrance into the undercity and puts a hood over his head and made his way into the undercity.

"But also make sure to be careful on who you interact down there, The crime lords and there gangs like to cause problems down there" the voice of clair continues as the voice began to fade as fujitsu continued down a dark hall and sees a door that leads down into the vakos sewers.He goes down and continued walking and began to see lights that looked like stars from where he was.He began to fasten his pace as he began to get closer to the edge of the tunnel he saw their was little buildings lined up and people having normal lives as if they weren't living underground. Fujitsu makes his way down to see kids running around and people drinking at bars having a good time.Fujitsu began his search through the city for a stone of calamity as he searched he heard a crash come from behind him and sees a man laying on the ground with bruises on his body.Fujitsu was about to walk over and help him but stops as he sees three men come out of the house the bruised man came from.

"You forgot to pay your dues mr. katashi you know, you have to pay for missing your due dates right" one of the guys say as he pulls a pocket knife out of his pocket and continues to walk towards mr katashi as he looks at the man with fear in his eyes.

"Please give me one more week I promise i'll pay your boss but please don't kill me"Mr.katashi begs.Fujitsu looked around him and saw people walking past as if they didn't see it or didn't care, he also saw people looking from a far whispering about the situation. The man with the pocket knife kicked mr.katashi then grabbed him by his shirt collar and pulled him close with the pocket knife at his neck. The man had a devious smile as he saw the fear in mr.katashi's eyes while the other two men laughed as tears began to roll down the face of mr.katashi.

"Please I have a family"Mr katashi says.

"so do I" the man says right when he was about to cut the man's neck fujitsu grabs the man's arm stopping it from moving and stopping the man from cutting mr.katashi's neck.The man looks at fujitsu with surprise before fujitsu hits with an up to the face sending him flying.The other two run up to fujitsu and try to attack him but fujitsu dodged both of their attacks then kicks them sending one into a building and the other into a wall.

Fujitsu then walks over to mr.katashi and helped him up, mr.katashi hugged him with a big smile on his face as tears come down.

"Thank you, thank you , thank you!" mr.katashi continued to say as continue to cry.

"I'll never forget this i'll repay you back one day I promise"mr.katashi says as he bows and runs off.Fujitsu looks on as he sees mr.katashi run off, he then looks to his left and sees a man selling somethings he has never seen before. Fujitsu makes his way to the salesmen as he did two people got their before him but left as soon as fujitsu made it to the salesmen.

"Hey excuse me do you mind telling me about this thing here"Fujitsu asks as he points to something that was wrapped in bandages, the salesman smiled.

"this thing here is known to take anyone's life energy from them by just saying the sacred words on the side of the item"the salesman says.Fujitsu grabs the item then examines it and tries to unwrap it but the salesman stops him from doing so.

"you unwrap it you buy it"the salesman says with a serious face, fujitsu decides to put the item back where it was while keeping eye contact with the salesman.

"I'll just take my business elsewhere"fujitsu says as he walks off from the salesman's stand.But as soon as he got far from the salesman someone grabbed him by the arm and pulled him into an alley.

"you seem like a good help"The person says as they look around them.Sand began to surround the person.

"Who the hell do you think you are" fujitsu says as he quickly gets up and grabs the person by the neck and held them up against the wall.

"please i'm sorry i don't mean no harm" the person says as fujitsu drops them to the ground.

"What do you want"Fujitsu asks as squats down to come face to face with the person.

"I need your help to stop what may be a big deal" the person says as they rub the front of their neck.

"Between who exactly"Fujitsu asks

"Between the Sukoshi family and this little group called the headhunters"the person says.
