Crazy Blade

The next day Riku goes to find Ryu he just got back from asking the guards where they recently saw Ryu. Apparently he was drinking at a nearby diner. So riku walkde to the diner and once he arrived he saw Ryu or Crazy Blade drinking som sake in a booth.

Riku: I apologize for my words earlier Ryu Sensei

Ryu (Crazy Blade): Huh thats a start kid but I'm not your Sensei yet kid.

Riku: I need to prove myself right.

Ryu (Crazy Blade): Yes you can start by joining me.

Riku was a bit confused but he did sit down with Ryu. For an hour all they did was sit in the restaurant not even talking all that happen was Ryu kept drinking. Riku was starting to lose his mind. He came to learn from Ryu to be a better shinobi but all he did for the past hour was watch him drink.

Riku: What is this why am I here?

Ryu (Crazy Blade): You lasted a decent amount of time and it was barely passable. But you fail to realize the point of this activity kid.

Riku: What?

Ryu (Crazy Blade): One I was testing your patience as it is important in combat as well as in learning. Two I was testing how much you could loosen up as fighting so up tight with many things on your mind limits your ability and makes you predictable. I understand why it is so difficult for you to have these two qualities as you are one of the last of both your fathers and your mothers clan giving you a lot on your shoulders. But no matter what you have to be loose and patient in combat or it will be fatal.

Riku:....

Riku didn't realize that just sitting in this diner would test two of his qualities and make him realize how lacking he was in these two. He now realized that Ryu had different ways of teaching but these ways would make him learn the lesson and hardly forget it.

Riku: So since I passed do you accept me now

Ryu: No I said barely passed and that was only on patiences. Your loosening up could use some work but well move on to the next test I guess.

Ryu says as pays the bill and gets up to leave. Riku follows behind Ryu as they move into the forest. They come upon a area filled with many thin trees starting to make it difficult to go through that as when Ryu started to pull out a katana that was 3 feet. Riku was confused as to why he did this when Ryu attacked him from above as Riku dodged but he hit a tree and fell almost getting hit by the sword.

Riku: Asami please!

As Riku shouted that Asami appeared behind him and then immediately transformed into the 2 foot chokuto. Riku grabbed the transformed Asami and went on the offensive but had a hard time maneuvering the sword as it kept hitting the trees. Riku decided to cut through the trees to attack so he swiped his hand over Asami and coated the sword in sever release he swiped through a tree but then got stuck in the next not even hitting Ryu. Ryu took this opening to swing at Riku his swing went through a couple of trees as it went for Rikus right side. As the sword swing came to hit Riku he let go of Asami as she disappeared this is when Riku dodged backwards as Asami appeared behind him in human form. At that moment Ryu thrusted the sword at Riku causing Riku to dodge to the right as he hit a tree again. At that point Ryu put his sword against Rikus neck.

Ryu (Crazy Blade): Well not bad your adaptation was ok. You also lasted longer than I expected. You are a child that can use major improvements but that is the point of a Sensei. You have virtues and learn from your mistakes. I understand why the Hokage asked me to teach you as you are a genius in your families arts but you lack many things.

Riku: Does that mean?

Ryu (Crazy Blade): Yes I will take you as a student.

Riku: Yes.

Ryu (Crazy Blade): Since you are now my student this is your first training area. You will learn how to fight in this crowded forest of trees flawlessly. As well as you will join the other groups of genin in their missions.

Riku: Yes Ryu Sensei.
