Chapter 10 : I will save the universe !

Land of Fire.

General POV

In a forest, five people were running and jumping from tree to tree at a fast pace.

- To make a reacap, we will escort Isshin-san here to the land of Iron. Then we will comeback with him, his wife and his son. It should be a two weeks journey. Becareful, Isshin-san is a wanted man in the bingo book of the land of Iron and Wind. There might be enemies coming. That's the reason it is a B rank. Any questions ? (Yuki)

- If ninjas are involved, why is this only a B rank mission and not a higher one ? (Tatsuya)

- I didn't want at first you know. I'm quite strong but the old man kept saying I had to go with you. (Isshin)

Tatsuya's POV.

Time goes by as the sun began to set. It has been four days we ran the day, and sleep the night. We had to take a detour instead of taking the main road as we did not want to bring unnecessary attention.

We kept running until I sensed something.

« Becareful, I can sense thirteen people ahead of us ! » I declared.

Yuki-sensei and Isshin-san smirk for less than a second but it was enough for me to see it. Yuki-sensei said : « So, what should we do ? »

It was not me but my brother who responded.

« In my opinion, we should make groups of two and circle them. Two because if a teammate is attacked, the other can help him. We have to be a little far from them and advance progressively to make sure there is no more people hidden. Arrived at a certain distance, we will stop and observe to see their purpose. If they are bandits, we will attack. If they are just civilians, we will let them be. And if they are ninjas... »

« If they are from konoha everything will be alright. If not, we will ask their purpose in the land of Fire. We should proceed at night.» I contined.

« Okay, we will do as you said. » Yuki-sensei said.

The sky was dark. Only the moonlight let us see in this night. I shivered not from terror but from excitment. It was finally a real mission outside Konoha. All my senses were working at their perfect state.

We arrived at a position where we could see clearly the strangers. As expected, they were bandits. We were quite far from Konoha so wandering bandits were not a surprise.

They were around a campfire, enjoying their meal.

Without even thinking, I took a kunai from my inventory and threw it behind me. I could see a shadow dodging it. The kunai pierced a branch of a tree before it stopped onto the trunk.

« Who is there ?! » A man shouted. Of course my move caused some noise.

I nod with Yuki-sensei and we rushed to attack them. Our teammates did the same thing.

The first person I encounter was a man from his forties. The way he moved and shouted clearly proved he was drunk. I dashed to him and threw a shuriken to his head at the same time. This one moved his upper body to the left to avoid it.

When the shuriken passed next to him, « hum ? I can't move ! What did you do to me ?! ».

Of course he won't move. It was a technique I developped with Shinichi. I used the Imitation Shadow Technique on my shuriken and when I threw it, a shadow extended as the weapon moved. It does not matter if this one doesn't touch his enemy, what matters is if the shadow touch enemy's one. That is also why I aimed the head, to not let him look to the ground.

Yuki-sensei and Shinichi were always jealous of Itachi and me because we don't need hand-signs to use our jutsus.

I looked around, and saw that the bandits had already been dealt. They were dead.

«

- Was that necessary ? (Me)

- You can't imagine what they did before and what they would have done after. (Yuki-sensei)

- This is the cruelty of the world boy. (Isshin-san)

Itachi and I didn't say anything.

General POV.

Few days passed by and they arrived near the land of Iron.

The village where Isshin lives was near the borden of this country, so it was quite easy to reach that place. When we entenred the small village, everyone looked at us with fear but when they saw Isshin, they calmed down and greeted them.

« How were they even able to survive during this war with a village near the land of Fire... » wondered Shinichi.

« We protected them with my wife. » replied Isshin as if it was not a big deal.

(A.N. I will use my Author Pass to make it believable lol, let's just say a captain of the 10th division and a quincy can guard a small village against two big nations.)

They went to Isshin's home were they met Masaki and Ichigo. They decided to stay in this town four days before going back to Konoha.

The next day in the morning, two kids could be seen sparring with their katanas. Next to them were four people looking at them while eating their breakfast.

'Why do they always have to train ?' thought Shinichi.

Suddenly, Isshin got up and walk to them. « You brats have good fondations but what you lack is speed. With speed, you will be able to confront people stronger than you and even win. Come with me. »

Itachi and Tatsuya didn't say anything and followed him. They already witnessed his speed.

They went in an open area. Isshin, with a punch to the ground, dug a hole with a 15 meters radius and 10 meters of depth. He then added rocks as obstacles.

« Take your katanas and nothing else. The hunter will try to hit the prey and of course the prey will have to run and defend himeself. We switch every 30 minutes and will do it 10 times. Itachi you begin. Now ! » Isshin pushed the kids to the hole.

When they touched the ground, Itachi used chakra on his feet and flickered in front of Tatsuya to slash him. The last one did a side step to the right and ran away.

Five hours later, Tatsuya and Itachi came with clothes torn and scratches on their bodies. They were exhausted but had smiles on their mouths.

« HEY ISSHIN, you said they just played a game ?! » yelled Masaki, Isshin's wife.

« They did, look they are smiling! » replied his husband. « They just used weapons... »

« I'm gonna kill you one day I swear... »

Masaki took care of the kids.

Everyone ate, and the duo went back to their training place.

- They really want to become stronger, don't they ? (Yuki)

- Like their fathers Ahah ! (Isshin)

- You knew them ?

- Yup, Fugaku and Ryota were our student with Sakumo and another stupid guy.

- Who is he ?

- No need to know him, he always said he wanted to save the universe to every person he met. But his skills can cover up what he says. He's the one who saved Masaki and I. Beyond Kage's level if you want my opinion ahah...

- I never heard of someone like him… (Shinichi) What's his name ?

- Kanki Kousei.
