"Mister Guy, if I remember correctly, you just changed your weight-bearing ninja gear three months ago. Are you changing it again so soon?"

"Hahaha..." Might Guy laughed heartily, giving a thumbs up and striking a pose. "There's no end to youth, store manager!"

"Really...haha..." The store manager laughed dryly. He didn't quite get Might Guy's enthusiasm, but he took the used weight-bearing ninja tools and promised to make a new set as soon as possible. Might Guy, unlike his low-key father, is one of Konoha's elite, a ninja on Kakashi's level. Naturally, the store manager treated him with utmost respect.

Ding Dong!

"Welcome..."

The doorbell rang, and the store manager's smile remained as he went to greet the newcomer. But upon seeing Yato, his expression soured, and his tone turned impatient.

"It's you, kid. What are you doing here?"

"Buying things."

Yato was straightforward. Knowing he was unwelcome, he walked over and picked up the weight-bearing equipment that Guy had taken off to measure it. It was very heavy, even for someone used to gravity suppression.

Calmly, Yato asked, "How much does a set of weight-bearing props like this cost?"

"80000 Ryo!"

The store manager quoted a price Yato couldn't afford.

"I'll come again."

Putting the items down, Yato left without looking discouraged. Once outside, he whispered, "Did you get everything?"

"I got them, but the time was too short. I only managed to get two sets, and I'm not sure if they're suitable for you," Riku floated to his ear, sounding regretful.

While Yato distracted the boss, Riku had walked around the store, pickpocketing. Yato never intended to pay for the weight-bearing props himself. Borrowing was his first choice, and he felt no shame since he wasn't the one doing it.

"Don't worry, you'll have another chance soon."

Yato didn't know what weight he was suitable for now. Two sets were likely not enough, but Riku would have plenty of opportunities to steal more.

After a while, the store owner ran out, shouting like a slaughtered pig. Spotting Yato, he marched over aggressively.

"It must be you! You stole my things, didn't you?"

He had just checked and found two sets of weight-bearing props missing right after Yato left. With only three people in the store and trusting Might Guy, the store owner targeted Yato.

Seeing this, Riku understood and quickly rushed back into the ninja tool shop to grab more items. It didn't care if they were useful; it just stuffed its pockets excitedly, unable to stop.

The entrance of the ninja tool shop was already crowded with villagers who pointed and whispered among themselves upon seeing Yato.

The manager of the Ninja Tool Shop had a ferocious expression, his face red as if he were lacking oxygen. It wasn't just anger; it was the strain from trying to grab Yato's collar, but Yato's grip on his arm was like being clamped by pliers, rendering him immobile.

Yato stood with a blank expression, treating the manager like an insignificant pest. The shop owner, embarrassed to be overpowered by a child, glared at Yato, convinced he was the thief.

"Give back what you stole, you thief!"

Hearing the accusation, the onlookers became more brazen, their faces filled with contempt as they began to accuse Yato without knowing the full story.

"I didn't steal your things," Yato said calmly, still holding the manager's hand.

"Who else could it be? Just now, it was only you, me, and Might Guy in the store!"

The pain in his arm made the manager's voice hoarse, like a roaring beast.

"If you didn't steal anything, let me search you in front of everyone!"

"A body search? In front of these people?" Yato's eyes narrowed as he suddenly applied pressure to the manager's hand, causing him to scream in pain. "You can go notify the Konoha Security Department."

The implication was clear: don't even think about searching for him, and even if they did, they would find nothing.

"You..."

"Okay, manager, I can testify that he didn't steal anything from your store."

Might Guy, who had been watching from the side, stepped in to help.

"But, Might Guy, there were only three of us in the store just now. Who else could it be but him?"

"Maybe you saw it wrong!" Might Guy spoke confidently, his teeth shining. "Although I am not as sharp as Kakashi, no one could commit a crime in front of me. Manager, you have to believe in the power of youth!"

As an elite ninja of Konoha, Might Guy's words were convincing, despite his eccentric appearance with green tights, a watermelon haircut, and thick eyebrows.

"...Since Might Guy vouches for him, maybe I did see it wrong. Can you... let go of my hand?!"

The manager, not wanting to disrespect Might Guy and in too much pain to continue, relented.

"It's all a misunderstanding; of course there's no problem," Might Guy said, turning sharply to show his white teeth to Yato. "Young man..."

Yato let go immediately, ignoring everyone as he turned and left without hesitation. The crowd, seeing no more excitement, dispersed.

"Did you get everything?" Yato asked once he was out of earshot.

"Yes, I collected all the weight-bearing ninja tools for you, as well as everything else in the store," Riku replied. "As for the other things, Kunai and Shuriken, I got them all back for you, including his inventory!"

No wonder the store manager cried out in despair when he left just now.

"Thank you!"

Thinking of this, Yato rarely smiled and thanked Riku.

He knew that this was the system housekeeper or the system elf venting his anger on him.

When Riku heard it, it thought it had heard it wrong. It rubbed its round ears several times before it came to its senses and let out a strange cry.

"I didn't hear what you just said. Can you say it again?"

Yato didn't answer and continued to walk towards the forest.

"You, a heartless and rude brat, can actually say thank you? Impossible. Do you want to never give me food in the future?"

This guy!"

Several black lines appeared on Yato's forehead. He wished he could hit Riku on the head right then and there and kill it to eat later.

Unfortunately, this thing ignores all damage and cannot be killed at all!

Back at his own training ground, Hanabi had already left, but the rice balls she made were still there.

Yato took a glance, regained his mind, and prepared to continue his training.

Riku returned to his exclusive seat, sat cross-legged in front of a bird's nest, took off his pants, and planned to count his spoils.

Suddenly, its long tail stood up and pointed diagonally in a direction.

"Yato, someone is coming!"

Upon hearing this, Yato immediately removed the gravity suppression on his body and hit the wooden stake without changing his expression.

"You can enter the state of training immediately after something like that happens. Boy, your youth really touched me."

"Boom!"

Yato heard a voice before he saw the person coming towards him!

He still had the same look as before, with a watermelon head, green tights, thick eyebrows, and a mouthful of shiny teeth that had nowhere to go.

"So shiny, damn, how come this guy's teeth are even weirder than mine!"

Looking at the teeth that were still dazzling Riku even though the sun was about to set, the system spirit, who was sitting cross-legged on the bird's nest, suddenly showed an expression of seeing a ghost.

Yato couldn't look at it directly and asked knowingly, "Who are you? Come down..."

"Good question." Before Yato finished speaking, Might Guy's look changed again, and he said passionately, "I am Konoha's proud blue beast, Might Guy!"

Not sure if it was an illusion, Yato saw a scorching sun from behind him, cartoon-like, like a cheap painting drawn by a kindergarten kid.

Taking a deep breath, Yato asked, "How did you find this place? You were following."

Might Guy said passionately, "It is your youth that has shown me the way, young man!"

After being interrupted again and again, even Yato had the urge to hit him!

Seeing that the other party's calm face had a few blue veins looming, Might Guy knew that he should stop while he was ahead.

His IQ was not high, and his memory was not good, but he was not mentally retarded. How could he not know that his behavior was very weird in the eyes of others?

So, he put away his usual tricks and explained his intentions seriously.

"Young man. Do you want to become my student?"
