Duel

When Iruka heard Haruto accepting the duel request he made both of them come up to the ring and said, "since it would be your first time having a match so I will explain the rules to you first. 1) under no circumstances you are allowed to kill each other. 2) none of you are allowed to use your ninja tools. 3) ninjutsu is forbidden as this is simply taijutsu match. Understood."

Both of them nodded at the same time. Iruka nodded and asked them to make the peace sign and take their stances.

Both Haruto and Kogarashi took their respective stances but in Haruto's case he simply seems to be standing with one hand in front and the other at the back.

Iruka noticed this and thought that he had seen this stance somewhere. He looked at both of them and nodded and shouted, "START"

As soon as the signal was given Kogarashi hurriedly moved towards Haruto and tried to hit him with his clan taijutsu but Haruto's senses were good enough to dodge his attack.

Seeing that his attack missed Kogarashi gritted his teeth and continued to attack him but still his attacks did not land a hit on him.

Kogarashi was starting to get frustrated and said, "keep still you shit." Hearing Kogarashi cursing him Haruto smirked and diverted his hit to make him lose balance and threw him by grabbing his hand.

Feeling that he was about to fall Kogarashi maintained his balance and landed on his feet though he was breathing very heavily.

"What happened already tired eh?" said Haruto. Hearing him being mocked Kogarashi was very angry and shouted, "BYAKUGAN".

Seeing that his opponent has activated his kekkei genkai Haruto smiled a little and said, "getting serious are we. Then I guess I should also be a little serious."

Haruto narrowed his eyes and looked towards Kogarashi who was glaring at Haruto. Kogarashi took a stance and said, "gentle fist: eight trigrams 32 palms" and came towards Haruto.

Haruto did nothing but kept on dodging. Seeing that he was still not able to land a hit on him Kogarashi started to get impatient. Haruto who noticed this did not wasted the opportunity and threw him on the ground and restrained him. Haruto smiled and said, "it's my win I guess."

Kogarashi could only sigh on his defeat and said, "it seems that way, but next time I would be the one who will win."

On hearing his response Haruto smiled and released him and offered him his hand so that he could stand up. Kogarashi gladly took the hand and looked directly towards Haruto with determination.

Iruka on seeing this smiled thinking that there were no hard feelings between them.

The whole class cheered for them as they got out of the ring and stood besides Nanami who was very excited while seeing their match but was also worried about Kogarashi as he was her childhood friend.

When both of them reached at their place Nanami started to check Kogarashi for any injuries that he might have taken. Seeing her actions Kogarashi was flustered and was trying very hard to hide his blush.

Seeing their actions Haruto smirked and asked, "should I go if I am disturbing you two?"

Hearing this both of them blushed and looked away from each other since they realised what they were doing in public.

Others on seeing this had mixed expressions, all the boys looke towards Kogarashi with hate and envy while the girls were looking at Nanami with jealousy and this reaction was obvious as both of them were very good looking.

After that rest of the class had thei matches and after the class was over they started to pack up for going home.

Haruto, Kogarashi and Nanami were in a group and were talking to each other while moving towards the gate. When they reached the gate all of them noticed a group of children with two women standing at the gate. The group recognized Haruto and waved and shouted towards him.

"What are you all doing here?" Haruto asked Naruto and the others but before they could reply Haruto received a hit on his head from Kushina and she said, "Is this the way you are supposed to talk to someone who came to receive you?" On seeing that Haruto shivered and politely said, "I mean it's very nice of you to come and receive me."

After sometime Kushina calmed down and Haruto looked towards Mikoto and asked, "what are you doing here Mikoto-san?"

On seeing Haruto asking her a question Mikoto came near him and hugged him and said, "I came to congratulate you on entering the academy but it looks like Haru-chan is not happy to see me."

Haruto quicky said, "no no I am very happy that you came to congratulate me don't be sad." Even though Haruto knew that Mikoto was just teasing him, he still liked to play along with her. Mikoto released him from the hug and stood besides Kushina.

Haruto stood straight and introduced his new friends to them.

They were talking for a while and Neji said, "Even both me and sasuke together are not able to beat him how the hell do you think you would be able to do it baka." Neji said while patting Kogarashi's shoulder.

Kogarashi was actually was also part of the hyugas deployed for protecting Hinata along with Neji.

Hearing that Kogarashi grumbled but suddenly pointed his finger at Haruto and said, "Haruto I promise that I will defeat you one day." Everyone looke at him and then at Naruto and all of the children except Nanami said in unison, "you act just like Naruto."

Hearing this both of them said in unison as well, "huh I don't behave like him" while pointing their fingers at each other then they looked towards each other and said, "stop copying me" at the same time.

Hearing their bickering all of them were laughing but were brought out of their laughter when Nanami exclaimed, HEH HE IS THE HARUTO YOU TOLD ME ABOUT, THE BOY YOU LIK---"

Ino suddenly put her hand on Nanami's mouth and said, "shhh don't shout Nanami nee"

All of them looked towards both of them and the younger children were asking Ino what happened and both Mikoto and Kushina poking Haruto's cheeks while he was embarrassed and was blushing. He do know how Ino feels but he put that at the back of his mind as he thought that it was only her childishness.

After talking some more all of them went to their respective ways. On the way back Kushina kept on teasing Haruto while Naruto was just confused and thought what was happening.
