Calvin vs Superman {Basic form}

Superman flew out of the portal and floated in mid-air. He was confused.

Here he was, all of a sudden, floating above a grid platform that was suspended in absolute nothingness.

As he scrutinized his current environment, his gaze fell on Calvin who seemed to be the only one here with him.

He flew down to meet Calvin who had a wide smile on his face.

"Excuse me, but do you have any information on where we are?" Superman asked when he reached Calvin.

Calvin was ecstatic. Superman, THE superman, was talking to him. It seemed so unreal, but it was real.

Superman was right in front of him.

Quickly coming back to reality, Calvin remembered that he only had some minutes left before Superman would become enraged.

He had to create the abilities he would use to fight against Superman.

But what abilities did he need?

He knew superman's weakness was kryptonite, but if he used that against him, he would not be able to get the challenge he needed to test the system's limits.

The only option was to use powers that were leveled with that of Superman.

Now, knowing how dangerous Superman would be when he was enraged, Calvin couldn't take any chances in creating abilities.

He had to be as accurate as possible so that he could reduce the weaknesses that he would have to compensate for.

After about two minutes of thinking, he quickly decided on the three abilities that he would need.

"Initiate command; «create»"

[Ability: perfect flight

Description: This ability grants the host user the ability of perfect flight. With this, you can soar through the skies with perfect control.

Cons/Weaknesses

*Flying for more than ten minutes will cause this ability to go on cool down.

*When on cool down, the host user cannot use this ability until five minutes have passed.]

[Ability: super body

Description: This ability gives the host user the ability of super strength, super speed, impenetrable skin, ultimate hearing, super sight, and super smell.

Con/weakness

*Host user's body will become bloated the longer this ability is equipped and when the hidden limit is reached, the host user will explode.]

[Ability: Negate

Description: This ability lets the host user avoid every cons/weakness of created abilities.

Calvin had just taken a guess and given the descriptions for the last ability. He could never have guessed that it would work.

With this, he could create any ability at all without bothering about the negative sides.

However, this did make Calvin worry slightly. The system had informed him that every ability had a weakness, but this one didn't.

This meant that the system didn't tell him everything he needed to know. What other secrets was it keeping?

In the end, Calvin couldn't think about this too much.

The five minutes were almost up.

Superman had watched in confusion, Calvin talking to himself. He didn't know about the system so he just thought that Calvin must've been crazy.

As he was about to leave to find a way out of here, or at least, where he was, he suddenly felt a slight pain in his head.

It was almost unnoticeable, but the pain was not something superman felt quite often so he knew the moment he felt it.

Before he could even address it, he was suddenly plunged into darkness.

Calvin watched as Superman's eyes turned bright red and lasers shot out of them towards him!

He tried to block them with his hands but the power from the lasers was practically insane!

It had pushed him far away towards the edge of the platform, but instead of being thrown over the edge, he hit hard on the invisible forcefield that he had created to prevent just that.

Calvin winced. He might have impenetrable skin but he still felt the pain from the laser trying to tear through his skin.

As he silently cursed himself for forgetting the pain factor when he was creating the abilities, Superman suddenly appeared in front of him!

He threw a punch to Calvin's abdomen with so much force, that Calvin could feel the power of the punch before it had even touched his skin!

Keeping a calm mind, Calvin sidestepped at super speed when the punch was only a few inches away.

He then raised his leg and kicked Superman so hard on his midsection, that he had flown across the platform and hit hard on the forcefield on the other side!

Calvin could feel a stinging sensation from his leg that had hit Superman, but he ignored it to concentrate on what was important.

Superman quickly reorganized himself and flew black toward Calvin at a speed that broke the sound barrier!

The moment Superman reached Calvin and prepared to strike, Calvin grabbed him by the jaw, raised him above his head, and smashed him down on the grid platform with so much force, that it sent waves that caused ripples on the invisible forcefield.

Calvin flew away and watched superman try to stand up after that hit.

The part of the platform where Calvin had performed that strike did not even have as much as a scratch on it.

He had created it to be extraordinarily hard.

"Damn, reading the comic is one thing, but fighting him is another." Calvin sighed.

He had read comics where Superman went all out and fought against his opponents. While it was an interesting read, it was nothing compared to what he was facing now.

It might seem like he had the upper hand, but in reality, he knew that this fight had not even begun.

Just as this thought went through his mind, he suddenly felt something hitting his face and sending him crashing down to the platform!

BOOM!

He laid on the platform as unimaginable pain wracked his body.

Before he could even properly process what he was going through, he saw Superman standing over him with his leg raised.

With a loud thud, Superman hit him hard on his abdomen!

He repeated it again, again and again.

The pain made Calvin feel like he was dieing but the impenetrable skin ability prevented the hits from doing any significant damage, but it didn't stop the pain.

Superman was about to hit him again but Calvin suddenly caught his feet.

With a yell, he tightened his grasp and flew hundreds of meters up. He then spun to gather momentum before throwing Superman down to the platform!

The sound when Superman hit the platform was so loud that Calvin was almost tempted to cover his ears!

That throw had broken the sound barrier!

Superman laid on his back unmoving.

Just as he managed to get the strength to stand back up...

BAM! SPLAT!

Calvin had flown down and stepped hard on his head, bursting it into nothing but a gooey splatter of blood and brain matter!

He fell on his butt and tried to catch his breath.

When Calvin managed to catch his breath, he looked at the once all-powerful Superman that had been bested by him.

Even though on one hand, he was happy he had fought against one of his favorite superheroes and won, on the other hand, he didn't exactly get what he wanted.

"I better make some few tweaks to the abilities I want to use and try again." Calvin made a mental note.

This time, he would put everything into account.

He and Superman were not over just yet.
