chapter 4
"chirp....chirp...echo!"
"*More distinct animal voices*"
Near a pond in the makeshift tent laid our hero of this story all awake from these different kind of noices. He laid there to wait for the sun to rise and warm up his place a bit as last night it was really late and chilly winds were blowing.
For a while he thought how he would do his training and at another moment he thought what he will catch to eat and now he was thinking when he will be able to use mana and try the things he wanted to with mana.
The sun was finally up as was he ready and determined to improve himself. He went out of the tent with his blazing in determination.
First he did some streches not wanting any cramps in this place he was in after half an hour he was ready to start the real exercises.
He started with pushups and as he was more than determined to he didn't count and went on till the part he was training felt sore.
After pushups he did situps, planks, squats and pullups(which he did this one a sturdy tree branch after climbing a certain hieght, and boy you could say he was at a dangerous hieght).
He did all this in the similar fashion to how he did the push ups, but this made difficult for him to climb down from the tree after doing the pullups as his whole body was sore.
But he managed to it, albite with trouble. Afer going down from the treehe took out his emergency stash of food he kept for rainy days and ate like he hasn't eaten in days.
After finishing his meal he noticed that he was free of pain, perplexed by the strange phenomenon he asked the A.I. about it. [It is because the meager amount of mana in the beast you ate just now].
He was amazed by it as it could very effectivly aid his training. He also noticed how the A.I. said the animals were beast. He asked "You say beasts but arn't they just small animals?".
[No the animals are all found near and in the human settelments, in any forest their are only beasts present].
"So the requierment to be a beast is for a animal to have mana in thier body?" [Yes, you seem to catch on quick].
He started his spear practice and then went on to do the exercices in a cycle till the time of lunch came. He ate his lunch and went on to hunt, he went to catch many feathered rabbits for days of practice, at dinner he returned with a month worth of food.

ONE MONTH LATER
Sun was at its peak hour in a clearing a boy was trainning doing situps and all. After a few hours when the evening was approaching he finally went in shade and sat down took a piece of meat and hurridly ate it.
As if by magic after eating he was more energetic than before. It was our one and only Dale Huston. After resting a bit he called out his status.

After seeing his status he felt satisfied and content. As he was about to go on with his tranning, the A.I. said something [You have finally unlocked constitution stat, congratulations!].

After seeing his new stat he somewhat understood that it was overall toughness of his body. [Now if make it reach past 25 you can start playing with mana] as he registered A.I.'s word he became so much excited that he forgot he didn't knew how to increase it. after calming down he realised his mistake.
He asked the A.I. about it [Eating more mana enriched food will be the only way possible for now, if you were in a city you would have many more options but will take more time than with the method I told.], "it means i have to head deeper in the forest finally.".
He returned to the spot he slept and started his spear tranning till the time of dinner when the time came he washed himself, after setting up the fire to keep himself warm and ate his dinner watching the the fire till it became completely dark thinking about tommorow. And then went to sleep.
Next morning he packed his things and went on to the deeper parts and stopped in the middle area and started circling the middle area starting from right side. Stealthly he went on exploring the middle area of the forest.
As he went on his way he heard some voices speaking unintangible words. He halted his steps and focused on it and came to conclusion from his encounter with the goblins long ago that it was goblins, he went ahead and saw there were three goblins comunicating among themselfs.
He checked their weapons and saw there was only one goblin with a knife and were unarmed. He went around them quitely, behind the one with knife and in a swift swing he reaped its life.
The other two got startled taking advantage of which he finished of another one. Till the last goblin came to understanding of events its companians were dead it pounced on Dale who with a thrust finished it too.
With his current strength normal goblins were a childs play for him, as he went ahead he came across many simmilar groups which he finished in the same fashion. after all day till evening he had killed so many goblins that he could not count.
At the evening after resting a bit he went ahead, in 2 hours he heard sqeaking voices. When he checked he saw a big boar ( wild pig).
As he was observing it he stepped on a trunk to not let the boar escape he went ahead in its view. The moment the boar saw him it charged ahead, Dale dogded by just 1 inch. The boar surprisingly was very fast for its huge size.
As the boar charged again he readied his spear and while dogding to the side he tried to slash his size not know the thikness of its hide it was just a shallow wound which only made it more angry.
As it charged again he aligned himself with a strong tree and at the last moment leaped to the side, causing the boar to hit its head in that sturdy tree.
As it was confused Dale came with his spear and peirced its head with all his might. The boar was dead and Dale was panting from exhaustion.
[This one will do take it and find a place to reat]. Dale went ahead and agreed and till night came he was in a safe cave cooking parts of the boar he catched to eat.
After having his feast he went ahead to sleep after this lengthy day.
