Memorial

"Mr Reigns of course... I can't believe he let you come into his home. Do you know how hard it is to be so close to him?? Girl... you should be lucky you came back with flesh and blood." Andrea exclaimed.

In others eyes, Levi was a terrifying monster who ended anyone within arms reach. Zeus is the only one seen so close with Levi, no other person is privileged to come so close, not even Chairman Reigns, Levi's granddad.

"Um... okay?" Emma said in a not so questioning tone. "So you are going to be living with him right?"

"Yes. He said I'll have to make him breakfast and dinner every single day. And considering the distance from his mansion to the office, it's quite a long journey." Emma replied as a matter of fact.

"Alright alright. And here I was thinking I will be the one to move out and leave you alone." Andrea said jokingly.

"But I'm still certain you will get married before me. So technically, you will still be leaving me behind." Emma getting a little emotional embraced Andrea as she tried to hide the sadness in her eyes.

"I should be on my way now. My lunch break is almost over and I'm sure my boss will be hungry by now." Emma stood up facing Andrea.

"Okay... Let's hang out again tomorrow. I feel like I'm going to cry if I don't see you tonight so I guess I'll spend the night at Jerry's."

"That would be great. Take care sis... I'll be off now." Emma said as she walked out of Andrea's room after a quick hug.

She arrived at the office just in time and went back to work. Things were getting busier as the date for the product launch was fast approaching. Everyone at the office had to work overtime today because the Chairman had a lot of complaints today.

From the inefficiency of the staff, to long lunch break, and the fact that the staff are too relaxed... he literally criticized everything today. So they all had to stay behind to show the chairman just how hardworking they can be.

After the chairman left at 6pm, they were all able to breathe and Levi in consideration of his employees effort to cheer up the chairman, gave everyone permission to leave by 6:30pm.

Emma as usual went down to the garage and they went to the nest of the cold iceberg by her side. Levi has been in a foul mood ever since his talk with the chairman in the afternoon and so the atmosphere was a bit chilly during their drive.

Upon reaching the mansion, there was already an array of different delicacies spread all over the table and their aroma was inviting. Emma tried her best to lock up the hunger that bubbling in her eyes on seeing these nerve-racking foods on the table but her stomach had to betray her in the end.

Levi revealed a small smile that went unnoticed by Emma and in other not to make the situation awkward, he invited Emma to the table and they dug in immediately.

Emma days went by like this and it was her parents memorial in no time. She woke up very early in the morning and did her everyday chores. She also prepared a sumptuous breakfast for Levi before she left with the driver Levi got some time ago.

As early as six in the morning, Emma was seen climbing to the top of the mountain where her parents were buried in the cemetery. The sun wasn't fully up yet and the surrounding was lonely. The different tombstone she walked passed were creepy but she didn't mind as she advanced before successfully reaching the top.

Clad in a black hoodie and a black joggers, she had a sad expression on her face while staring at the picture of her parents on the tombstone. She walked forward and placed the white lilies in her hands by the tombstone. Her mother loved pink lilies a lot so Emma also placed a bouquet on her mother's grave.

She also placed the chocolates her parents loved by their grave side. She swept the graveside and laid there for who knew how long. After a long time of silent communication, she got up and said her goodbyes. Then she dragged her tired body down the mountain again.

Levi upon seeing Emma staggering down, hurried out of the car and met her by the bottom of the mountain. He's been waiting for two hours and was having the urge to go check up on her. Over the days they spent together, he's gotten used to her company and has always been in a great mood whenever she's around.

He was very worried when he woke up to find his house Emma-less and eased up a little after the driver informed him of her whereabouts.

Getting to where she was, he held her by her shoulders to see the lifeless and lonely look in her eyes. "Are you okay??"he asked with worry deep within his eyes.

"Hmm" Emma replied lightly.
