Trouble!

"Um... miss Emma, the boss wants his breakfast now. Please hurry up as he's running late for work." Zeus said after Emma opened the door and left immediately.

Emma was left in a foul mood as she threw her phone on the bed and stomped downstairs.

Levi was sitting leisurely on the couch. of yesterday when she came down and he had a dark expression on his face as he flipped through the file in his hands.

Hearing footsteps behind him, he tilted his head to the side to catch a glimpse of Emma's frustrated expression just before she entered the kitchen and it caused his lips to lift up a little.

With anger bubbling in her stomach, Emma made egg sandwiches and served it with coffee for Levi. She was so upset that her face spelt the letter 'BEWARE' but Levi couldn't care less as he sat down and ate the entire breakfast without sparing Emma a glance.

After dinner, Levi insisted on his maid getting a change of clothes as it was improper for her to go out without having her bath so after much bickering, she went back to the room she woke up in and took her bath.

There was a formal pair of clothes waiting for her after her bath so she put it on and hurried downstairs, leaving the expensive bad and shoe that was prepared for her. They got on their way in no time and during the thirty or so minutes journey, none of them said a word.

Getting to the office, they were both late by almost an hour. But as the boss, Levi didn't mind as he strolled to his office leaving the awkward Emma answering all sorts of questions at her department on why she was late.

After a stressful morning, Emma had a sharp pain in her stomach and it made her feel very uncomfortable. Come to think of it, she hasn't had anything to eat since the the previous day. The last food she remembers eating was the pasta she made for Levi at his office yesterday and she ate her portion in a hurry so it didn't really sink well.

It was almost lunch time and as the newly hired maid, she knew she had to prepare lunch for her boss. Finding an excuse to go to the top floor, she found Zeus with a worried expression on his face as he walked from one end to the other outside Levi's office.

"Miss Emma... I'm sorry but you will have to skip today's lunch. The chairman is around and he's having an important discussion with the president." Zeus said seriously to which Emma nodded in understanding.

Thankful for the chairman's arrival, Emma happily flagged down a taxi and went to the restaurant Andrea works in. She was very familiar with the place as she had been here a couple of times so she walked to Andrea's rest room in familiarity.

The restaurant was a big international restaurant and although was only a second rate restaurant, it provided amazing services. Their chefs each get a personal room they can rest in during the day or at night for those who work the night shift.

As one of the top chefs in the restaurant, Andrea's room was a bit better than others as it came with a bathroom and a little kitchen. Even though she doesn't spend the night at the restaurant like most of the rest chefs, her room was always in great shape.

Knocking on the door, Emma waited by the side where Andrea wouldn't be able to see her through the door and like she predicted, Andrea came out when she didn't find anyone through the door hole.

'Ahhhhhh! Where did you come from???" Andrea exclaimed in surprise. "Are you okay??? I've been trying to reach you since yesterday why didn't you reply my calls or messages??" Andrea asked worriedly as she led Emma into her room.

"I'm fine girl... but first, give me something to eat it or else I won't answer any of your questions." Emma said tiredly as she dropped on the couch.

Without further ado, Andrea went into the kitchen and served Emma the food she Prepared a while ago. "Here... try this. It's one of the dishes I perfected recently." Andrea said excitedly add she scooped a spoon of potato porridge for Emma. Like the child that she was, Emma opened wide and took in the spoon of porridge before letting herself get lost in the delicious taste of the food.

"This is so good!! I never knew you could cook potato porridge so well!" Emma exclaimed with shimmering eyes as she grabbed the bowl from Andrea and continued eating spoon by spoon.

After letting her have her fill, Andrea gave her a glass of milk and stared at her with an expression that says 'start talking'.

With a deep sigh, Emma turned to Andrea and narrated all that happened without concealing any detail. Listening to the tale quietly, Andrea said nothing as she kept nodding her head as her smile grew bigger and bigger.

"That's awesome!!" she exclaimed after Emma finished her tale. "What's awesome??" Emma asked slightly confused.
