Bad News!

When they arrived, the dishes she prepared this morning were left untouched just the way she left it. Levi sat her at the table and served her breakfast in a light proportion.

'ring ring'

Emma reached out for her phone in her hoodie and answered the call. "Jerry?" She called out in surprise.

"Emma is Andrea there?? Pass her the phone I want to speak with her." Jerry said anxiously.

"What do you mean is she here?? Hasn't she been staying with you all week??" Emma asked as she began to feel uneasy.

"What?? So you mean you didn't see her at the cemetery??" Jerry screamed out in terror.

"N- No no. She wasn't there." Emma stammered as her voice grew faint. "Goddamit!" Jerry cursed before hanging up. Emma was left sitting there in a trace.

Then unexpectedly, she stood up and dashed for the door. Levi who had been observing her ever since she picked up the call suddenly stood up in a hurry.

"Emma!" He dashed towards the door to catch Emma just before she crashed on the floor.

"Zeus! " Levi called out in panic.

"It's ready sir." he replied hurriedly.

Levi then gathered Emma in his arms and disappeared through the front door.

""Get me the person at the other end." Levi said with anger before he entered the car and sped off.

"Doctor... how is she?" Levi asked in a more relaxed tone as soon as the doctor came out of the ward.

"She's fine. She just fainted from fatigue." the doctor said as he tried to hide the fear in his eyes. Just by standing opposite this man, he felt goosebumps all over his skin. He was truly as terrifying as people said he is.

By this time, Zeus walked into the hospital with Jerry following behind and they both had tense expressions on their faces for various reasons.

"Sir... Miss Emma's best friend has been kidnapped." Zeus carefully told Levi as he informed him of all he had learnt from this man.

"Apparently, they have decided to make their move... and at this time of all times." Zeus said.

Levi had a dark expression on his face as he stood there deep in thought. "Get ready." after dropping those two words,he turned around and left.

Zeus who already knew what Levi wanted turned around and made a quick call. Jerry was left confused as he stood by himself in the hallway. What are they going to do to rescue Andrea??? They were planning something, fine. But as her fiance wasn't he supposed to be involved??

Frustrated, he turned around and walked out of the hospital. He took out his phone and after getting no news from his colleague, he drove off in anger.

Opening her eyes, the first thing Emma saw was the blinding lights above her. She struggled to get up from her sleep just to find a needle inserted deep within her hands.

"Don't move." Levi's cold voice rang out from across the room. He walked towards her bed and pushed her back to a pillow, adjusting her to a half sitting position.

He brought a glass of water to her lips and Emma opened her mouth and took in the water obediently.

"Where's Andrea." She asked in a calmer voice.

"She's been found." He replied lightly.

"But??" Emma looked at Levi questioningly.

"We haven't extracted her yet." Levi replied while observing her expression.

Surprisingly, she was calm and didn't have the worked up expression she had earlier. After contemplating for a long time, she looked up at Levi with pleading eyes.

"Please save her." She said while biting her lips. She had a rear helplessness in her eyes that Levi was tempted to just give her whatever she wanted. She has always been that proud and bossy Maid of his who would always scold him for eating too little or criticize him for throwing away used clothes.

She always had a paragraph or two to say to him whenever head made a mistake that he has gotten used to receiving scolding from her. But never had she lowered herself to such depth and pleaded to him with such intensity.

He suddenly felt like a failure for not being able to give her what she wanted immediately.

With bowed down heads Levi said "I'll get her back. I promise." He said sincerely. He stood up and left with a blazing aura.

Emma was discharged later in the day after she had lunch and was fed with the proper medications. It was their driver that picked her up and took her back to the mansion. Today was Andrea's birthday and a surprise was prepared for her by 5pm in the evening after she closed for work. With the money she's been gathering for over a month, she was able to book both of them tickets to the ice rink Andrea had loved since forever.

There was a famous ice rink at the outskirts of C city, a little close to Levi's mansion. She booked them a three day ticket to spend some fun time at the rink. As it was friday, she decided they spent the whole weekend celebrating Andrea's thirtieth birthday and she was sure Andrea would live it.
