chapter 61- Greed for time

"Reina's origin?" James grasped suddenly.

Alex raised a brow. "What? Is it too hard for you?" He questioned.

He bowed his head, this princes Aura and dominance was more than the young blonde he had encountered in the garden. "I can't." His barely audible voice was lanced with fear.

The room turned cold as he said those words. Alexander looked at him for a long time before saying. "I won't force you to say anything without your own will ,but this concerns Reina who is not only your daughter but also going to be my future wife so, if you think that you are doing this for her own good, am sorry to inform you that it is pointless. " So her mother was a purebred like the others, what has this got to do with Lorraine? "Alex questioned.

" Reina was different, werewolves children do not show any signs or transform into a wolf at least until sixteen, but Reina started showing the sighs at the age of five. It was a rare genetic mutation that has never been seen before. Before in the past if a child transformed into a wolf they would be killed immediately because there was a time that these children was left and they tried to teach them how to control themselves but soon there was a rampage and the children killed an entire village of humans." He said.

Alexander frowned slightly. Seeing he had no intention to interrupt James continued. " Every since then it was a law that any werewolf child who transformed before the ripe age would be killed. "

" So Reina transformed. " Alex stated.

" Yes and no." He answered." pureblooded vampires have been blessed with abilities because of their unique genes , but werewolves don't have any of these. But that was not the case of Reina. "

" It was not too clear back then, and now I am not sure. " He answered.

Alexander leaned into his chair." So what kind of abilities , did they think she had? " He asked the man sitting opposite him.

'Time .' Alexander thought within his heart, time was very fragile and was a force of nature that could not be reckoned with. Any power related to it was not only rare but was also very dangerous. A small mishap and it could affect the order of things. "How was it related to time?" He asked.

" Before I meant Sofia ,me and Jade had a child together and after that when Sofia died, and I had to marry Jade to protect Lorraine. Jade became pregnant but the child was born a stillborn so we passed it out as Reina, we kept her somewhere safe for a few years before we brought her out at the right time ,you see Reina doesn't age quickly but looks like she's eighteen or nineteen now but she actually older. so at that time we could definitely pull it off."He explained.

" How old is she?"

" The incident happened ,when she was five and it was twenty-five years ago." He explained.

Alex was in deep thought as he got up and walked to the window." Who else knows about this matter?" He stood close to the window overlooking the place grounds.

"Lucius, and a few others. They mostly comprise of some witch's and vampires, Lucius was the only wolf that was in the group along with Ethan." He said.

"Read it, it's from Reina ; after you finish you can do what you want I will not stop you weather you want to see her or not." Alexander said slowly walking out of the room.

James stared at the letter in his hands wondering was he should do next? should he open and see what his beloved daughter wrote? He sighed inwardly. I hope she's ok.
