chapter 59-Lucius

He looked calmly at the girl in his hands, she looked so soft and even felt comfortable to touch.

" I seem to have meant you before my lady." He had been trying to strike a conversation with her since he lead her to the dance floor but alas , he was informed by her companion that she had a scaled throat and couldn't talk properly. But it was too a coincidence, and he never believed in coincidences. Either they were lying or they were not ,either way he had to find out the truth.

Twirling her around, he gently stepped on her feet and was rewarded by a hroaes shout, like a claw scratching the ground. and he knew that he truly scaled her throat. "Please forgive me my lady." He pulled away from her gently." I am a little light on my feet today, I hope you can pardon me for this mistake. " He said flashing an embarrassed smile.

"it is no problem my Lord for it is only a mistake, and mistakes are bound to happened. " Her low cracked voice sounded from within the mask.

He gave a flashing smile and walked away after the dance was over. He headed outside towards the garden ,but was block by a tall and dark figure who pulled him away.

"Mother have you seen Lucius." Adam said looking around the room and noticing that Lucius was no longer present.

Ruth frowned slightly scanning the room ,and noticing that Lucius was no longer present to the room. "No Adam I saw him a minutes ago dancing with Reina. "she said quietly in a low voice.

"Where might he be?" Adam asked.

"As if I knew. " Ruth questioned back , her frown becoming more obvious.

"We have to find him mother, He's never been to the palace before and I'm worried that he might get caught." he refuted angrily.

" He's not the child like you Adam he can perfectly take care of himself." Eliza said coldly as she walked over angrily.

" Eliza dear have you seen Lucius?" Ruth said ignoring Eliza's remark.

" Yes Aunt."she replied bluntly." I saw him walking towards the garden."

"Huh thank goodness." Ruth let out a sigh of relief." I thought that perhaps he had lost his way. but since he's in the garden let us go down and meet him."

" Don't you ever give up?" James said as he angrliy landed a blow on Lucia's face giving him bad a bruise on the cheek."I didn't answer you when you took Sofia away from me, I turned a blind eye when you took my daughter away from me, I turned a blind eye when I was forced to move away from where I was and come to an unknown land, And now You come from my other daughter." he said to clenched teeth as he continued landing blows." If it wasn't for your alpha I would have killed you long ago. But still you don't want to let me be , And you've come again this time on your own suspicion. And you think I will let you be? so many years have passed but you still don't want me to leave happily. And because you don't want me to leave happily I won't let you go even if you're alpha kills me, I'll make sure I leave your corpse at his doors." James poured out all his bitterness as he spoke.

"Enough." A cold voice said and like ice cutting though the air the two men reluctantly released themselves.

They both turned to the direction of the voice ,and saw a tall blonde dark red eyed vampire staring coldly at them." Mr Drummond this is no way to behave at another person's residence much less the king's." His deep cold voice rang through the night showing his displeasure.

"I am sorry." James was humbled by the cold and overbearing aura emitting from the young vampire.

"Come with me." He turned walking towards the palace." Guards." He paused and said to the three men he had brought with him." Escort the uninvited guest out ."

"James." Lucius said quitely .

James glared at him and wanted to pounce on him If not that there was someone there. " What.?" he asked coldly.

"She's not the one." He replied ignoring James death glare." And am sorry." His voice was barely a whisper.

Even though his voice was barely audible James still caught what he said." You've never been sorry ,you've always wanted Sofia and if you couldn't get what you want you want, you always make sure you destroyed it so that nobody can get it. You destroyed Sofia and everything that was associated with her ,even an innocent little girl." He said deeply before turning around and walked into the place with the vampire living Lucius to the guards.
