chapter 41- The first ability

She looked at the cave with surprise. 'How did we get here?'

"Your Highness please put me down." She demanded.

Alex eyes met hers." Are you sure about that your face looks like chalk." He looked worried.

"Am fine just a little dazed." She said.

He signed , before putting her down gently. She walked passed him and touched the wall of the cave they had passed through." How did we get here? "She asked.

"I passed through the wall." He replied.

"How is that even possible?" She demanded.

"Humans cannot pass through the wall. To them it is normal , but to us it's different." He said gently.

Her eyes widened. "That's means you brought me here to see if I was a human?" She questioned.

"Yes."he replied causally.

"Then what if I was a human, what would have happened?" She said.

He smirked at her." The wall would have killed you , it drains the life out of any human who wants to poke their nose in what is bigger than them." He said.

She thought about Eliza and smiled mischievously." Even Eliza?"

"Especially Eliza." He said and was rewarded with peals of laughter.

Her laughter died down when she suddenly realized that they were standing in a cave that barely had enough light." Wait where are we exactly? " she asked.

"We're in the cave were my fathers are." He said happily.

"You seem excited about being here. "She said.

"No I am not excited to see them; these old coops are nothing but pest that keeps disturbing me , and advising me to change from my ways. Am happy to be here just because I can finally introduce you to them." He said.

"Your making it seem like they're alive." She hoped she didn't sound nervous.

He looked at her with mischief written allover his eyes." They are." Saying this he flashed her a devilish handsome smile before clapping his hands , the whole place lit up with touch's that were hanged in the walls.

Before she could protest he started walking into the cave, leaving her standing.

She wasn't going in there, it was a big no. Could he had said the truth? could he have lied? Alex loved being mischievous. Yes it could be possible, but she had just passed through a wall and a few months ago if someone would have told her that she would actually walk past a rock she would have called him crazy.

"Are you coming?" Alex voiced brought her back to reality. She starred at him as he stood majestically , he should have worn blue it brought out his prefect features and she was finding it hard to focus right now, knowing a handsome devil was a few feet's away from her.

She inhaled and felt like it was pins that she was inhaling into her stomach. "Fine, am coming." She grudgingly walked up to him.

"Let's go." He said ignoring her evil eye.

They walked for sometime in the narrow passage of the cave before they came into a large , it wasn't empty she could see graves stones ; her eyes widened in horror as, she saw were this irritating man had brought her. ' He has brought me to a cemetery .'

"Your Highness, what is this place?" She was very confused and needed answers.

"This is were my ancestors are buried." He said as they headed down the stairs into the cemetery.

"I thought you said that they were alive."

"I did and they are but in a dead way." He said.

This man was becoming more and more confusing every minute, when they get back to the castle she'll appeal to the king to get his son checked before he completely runs mad and drive her insane while doing it." What do you mean in a dead way? "She asked.

He only smiled at her." You'll see." He said.

They continued walking passing through graves until they reached the last one that had no flower on top.

She read the inscriptions that were written on the stone Eva Knight 1709-1748." Is this your mother? "She asked.

"Yes." He said and looked at the grave." It will be rude not bringing any flowers for her." His hand reached into his coat pocket and he brought out a white rose." This is for you mother." He knelt down and placed the single flower on top on the grave." Am sorry I haven't visited you for a long time." He looked at reina smiling warmly. "Mother this is Reina, she's the woman I want to marry so please give us your blessing." He said." And would you please help me to convince her that I am serious in my decision. "He added.

She couldn't help but chuckle , he got up from the grave and walked to the next one." Hello grandfather , I hope you're enjoying your time in hell , don't worry I'll be coming to join you soon to ease a little stress." He said.

She looked at her with surprise." Don't worry my boy ,hell is a lot more comfortable than you think." An older voice said.

Reina jumped when she heard it and threw herself on Alex climbing him like a tree till her hands were around his neck and her wrapped her legs around his waist screaming. " Who said that!" She asked.

He held her tight." You can hear him?" He asked.

"Yes I can hear him! But who is he?" She exclaimed burying her head into his shoulder, her body was shivering with fear.

He smooched her back gently. "Its OK , I can hear him too and he is my grandfather." He said calmly and gently.

She raised her head and scanned the room." But there on one in her but us, how can we hear him but not see him." She was scared to her wits.

"Because he's not here, he's in hell and he can communicate with us; but we can't see him." He said.

"So he's not here and he can communicate with you?" She asked, he nodding in agreement. "How is that possible."

"It's a gift and it seems like you also have the ability to communicate with the dead." He said.

"Wait do all vampires have this gift?" She asked.

"No." He replied.

"Then how many has it."

"so far it it only me that had this ability ; but now it seems like you are included." He smiled at her." Now let's not keep grandfather waiting, get down let's talk to him." He said.

"No,I am not coming down." She stubbornly replied.
