Arriving at Grand Folck (2)

"So I think it's time I left." Elaine said while relaxing on Hiros' couch. "Where are you headed?" Hiro asked. "I don't really know. I want to have and adventure. I've always lived in my royal palace. I guess my first stop should be a nearby adventurers' guild." Elaine replied, wondering where her destination would be located. "I see. I'll head over to Grand Folck city with you tomorrow morning. There's and adventurers' guild located there. The city isn't as big as the capital, but it's a nice place nonetheless." Hiro told Elaine. "Why are you going with me?" Elaine asked with a surprised look on her face. "I'll explain later. For now let's go to bed. It's late and we have to wake up early to start heading to the city." Hiro replied getting up and heading to his room.

"Hey get up!" It's time to go!" Hiro told Elaine as he woke her up from her slumber. "Yes. Good morning, Tachibana-kun." Elaine said. Hiro just nodded and said, "Good morning." Hiro was preparing luggage, when he turned around he got a bit flustered. Elaine was half naked rubbing her face. When she realized what she had done she yelled in embarrassment. Hiro closed his eyes and told her to put on clothes and that if she wanted to bathe it was the last room on the right side down the hall. Elaine thanked him and left to the bathroom while Hiro walked outside to wait.

Elaine finished her bath and other preparation and finally walked outside to Hiro chanting and storing the luggage in a storage space. Elaine saw no way of transportation other than walking and asked "Are we going to walk there?" "No" Hiro responded as he grabbed Elaine's hand. Before Elaine could react they were at the city entrance gate. "Welcome to Grand Folck" a giant sign read. The sign was properly placed on the side of the road.

"How did you do that?" Elaine asked in confusion. "Magic" Hiro replied smiling at Elaine's' reaction. "Just who are you?" Elaine asked thinking about what had just happened. "You'll figure that out in a bit." Hiro replied nonchalantly. As Elaine and Hiro walked to the adventurers guild Elaine noticed that not many people recognized her, which she actually liked. "No place cares more about politics and royalty than the capital. Many people aren't going to recognize you." Hiro said as he had noticed Elaine looking around in unease. She just smiled at him and said, "Okay."
