Meeting a Princess (1)

Hiro was sitting on the corner of his bed pondering. "What should I do today?" he thought. Hiro got out of bed and walked to the kitchen and started making some tea. While the tea was heating up he went back to his room to change into casual clothing then returned to his previous task. Once the tea was done Hiro started to pour some into a cup when he heard a loud scream that startled him and made him drop his drink. He got angry, and walked outside. At the front of his house he tried to see whether he'd hear the yelling again and the direction it came from. "Must have been nothing after all." he thought. When he turned around to head back inside he heard the scream again and rushed into the forest.

Hiro ran looking for clues on the scream he'd heard when he saw a smear of blood on the bark of a nearby tree. He got closer to the tree and investigated the area. As he looked around he saw another bloodstain on the leaves of a shrub. He decided to follow the path of blood. After running for a while, he saw a beautiful girl in danger. She had been surrounded by wolves, and was fighting them off with a sword on one hand, while her other hand covered a wound on her stomach.

She slashed at a wolf when another pounced on her. As she turned she saw the wolf in midair when suddenly the wolf fell right at her feet giving its last breath. She was surprised at what had occurred, but because of the wound her vision started to blur. "I've lost too much blood. Damn!" she exclaimed thinking about her perilous situation. "Relax. I've got this." Hiro said as he approached her from behind. She turned towards the voice and saw a figure approaching and sighed a breath of relief because the figure turned to the wolves something glowing on his hand. She saw the figure start fighting and passed out.

Hiro finished off the final wolf and picked up the mysterious girl off of the ground and carried her home. As he was walking he wondered who the girl was but decided to leave the questions to have answers when she woke up.

Hiro was sitting on the stairs in front of his house when his front door suddenly opened behind him. "You're awake. How do you feel?" he asked the girl that was walking outside rubbing her eyes. "I feel okay. Thank you for saving me! To most I'm known as Princess Elaine, but you can just call me Elaine." she said. "You're royalty! I didn't expect that. Very well, I'll call you Elaine." Hiro replied. "How long have i be..." Elaine was saying before she was interrupt. "Three days. You had lost too much blood so i healed your wound but you need time to rest." Hiro told her as he sighed. Elaine was surprised by this as no one before had ever dared interrupt her when speaking. "I don't care that you're royalty. To me you are just a girl that needed help." Hiro said. "Hahaha! I like you!" Elaine said in a happy tone. She couldn't help it. She was always treated like royalty and not as a regular person even by her close friends. She always despised that about being royalty. "What is your name?" she asked Hiro. "Tachibana Hiro" he replied.
