Adventurers Guild & Results
The pair finally arrived at the adventurers guild and as soon as they walked inside they were greeted by a young blonde female behind a counter; she was one of the receptionists. "Good morning! How may I help you today?" "She's here to register as an adventurer and I want to reinstate myself back in. It's been too long." Elaine kept quiet and was listening. She was still wondering who Hiro was; he told her he'd explain later. Hiro then spoke again, this time facing Elaine, "I haven't told you my identity, and I don't plan to keep it a secret from you, but you're going to get into quite and adventure if you do follow me. Besides I wanted to travel with you since I took a liking to you. " "I was hoping you'd like to travel with me too, although I wasn't expecting that to be your reason. I'll gladly accept!" Hiro decided to not fake anything so Elaine would gain his trust completely.
The receptionist smile at what had happened and interrupted, "Well then, for the girl, we are going to test out her power and knowledge. As for Tachibana-kun, we are simply going to reevaluate your combat prowess, but first we're going to test your power. All of this is so we can get a rank for both of you." Hiro nodded, "Very well. I figured as much." The receptionist then carried on to explain what the crystal ball she was placing on the counter would do. She explained that the crystal ball measured the magic output by levels for every person. Everyone would start out in a low rank but if a persons magic output was too high then they'd make exceptions and allow that person to start at a higher rank due to their strength. The guild ranks were F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, and SSS, with SSS being the highest rank. Only one person could ever hold the SSS rank per nation. They were considered national weapons, and would usually get the most freedom but they were also given very dangerous tasks.
Elaine placed her hand on the crystal and poured magic into the crystal. After a minute, the crystal ball gave a reading; Elaine's level had appeared.

The receptionist nodded, "Alright, now you just need to take the written portion of your exam and once you finish with that, one of our guilds higher ups will test your combat so you can receive your guild card and rank. Now its Tachibana-kuns turn for the crystal ball." "Okay" both Elaine and Hiro agreed.
Hiro placed his hand over the crystal ball; this time the crystal ball took five minutes to give a reading which had never happened. The crystal ball then showed Hiro's results.

Hiro smiled at his results because the last time he was tested was before he defeated the Demon King and he was level 1203 at the time.
When the receptionist saw the results her mouth hung wide open and she turned pale. She stuttered but managed to speak, "T-T-Tachi..." she took a deep breath then continued, "Tachibana-kun, I don't know if the device is being faulty. Let me bring this up to the guild master." "I assure you it's working perfectly fine. Since you guys don't know who I am let me explain. I am the former hero who defeated the old Demon King. My name is Tachibana Hiro, and I had been originally tested the the palace in the capital. That was 3 years ago. When I defeated the Demon King my level was 1203 but lived in a forest until now." Hiro said this knowing full well that he might cause a ruckus but it was the truth and he knew that if he hid this information, it most likely wouldn't be for long.
