Jace Saves Eve

"You have to stop those boys from going out of the wall into the wasteland" said Jace hurriedly to the guards stationed to secure the walls and to keep the city updated about the monster situation.

"And why should we do that? They are clearly going on what can be said to be a school field, so why should we stop them, or perhaps you need some companies your age?" Said one of the guards which made the others laughed.

"This is not funny, they are plotting something sinister which needs to be stopped at all costs" Jace said angrily while clenching his fists tightly.

"Then you should go stop them yourselves, we have better things to do than to listen to sickly like you"

Again the guards laughed and mocked Jace without even caring for the consequence because they believed no one would say anything to them regarding Jace.

Jace has never been this angry before in his life, he could take insults on a normal day and not be phased, but today was a different day, today he was made fun of when there is a serious crime that is about to be carried out and that on the City Lord's daughter and the only girl who chose to help him today.

He looked at each and every one of the guards present, itching their face into his memories to make sure to receive their appropriate punishment after this.

After that, he quickly turned around and used every tiny bit of strength he could muster and made his way towards the gate leading to the wastelands.

"Are you sure we should let him just walk out of the city?"

"He was the one who chose to go of his own violation, nobody forced him out"

"Even though, we were here when he walked out all by himself and we did not do anything to stop him, if anything were to happen to him, we will have our heads separated from the rest of our bodies"

"And who is going to do that? The Norman Family? Heh, I bet they are also trying to get rid of that sick, pathetic bastard and we are just doing them a favour"

"Do you think those powerful family would thank you? If anything were to happen to that boy, they will be happy on the inside but they must grief and try to look into his death, linking it to us, now instead of that praise for helping them get rid of a waste, we will turned into a scapegoat for them, we will be a warning to others out there, that's all we are"

"Well it is a little too late to regret anything anymore"

"I know, that's why we should pray that nothing happens to that boy"

The guards discussed amongst themselves before going back to their duty post while praying and hoping nothing happens to Jace Norman or they are finished.

Wasteland

The wasteland, a place were monsters roam freely outside the monolith they came from.

The Monoliths always appears outside the walls of the city which the Humans are grateful for along with the other races currently inhabiting hate but this also made them wonder where the Monoliths are coming from or who is sending them to earth.

Due to this, the Monsters roam freely in the wastelands and nobody gives a damn about them, not until they are much in numbers which could pose as a threat to them.

Now inside this wasteland, was the sick Jace with a device in his hands with a red and yellow dot showing on the screen of the device.

The yellow dot points the current location of Eve and he was the red dot.

This tracker is a special feature of his that he created to help him track his father..

The tracking feature could locate anyone on the planet as long as they are in the database of the UR.

With this tracker, he would hack into the database of the UR without drawing their attention and link his device with that of the person he is looking for and viola, he has gotten who he is looking for.

It is just a simple but powerful tracking feature he created during his spare time.

Right now he was using it to keep track on Eve.

After a few hours of walking and resting, he finally managed to chance upon Eve who was cornered by the four boys whom he overheard talking about having a go at her.

"Stop right there" he yelled drawing the attention of Eve and the boys to himself.

"Look who decided to show up to the party, the sickly waste of the powerful Norman Family, what to watch as we have a taste of this beauty right here?" One of the boys said as he looked at Eve with a perverted grin.

"You dare? I will make sure you don't have your way with me" said Eve as she raised her hands trying to activate her Gift to get rid of these fools.

What happened next surprised Eve greatly as she could not feel her powers anymore and that's when she realized that must have sealed her powers earlier.

"You Bastards" Eve yelled glaring at the boys as she backed away from them.

The boys laughed loudly as their plan really worked out well and now they cab have one of the top beauty in the city.

Jace observed all of these and knew something was up, the sealing item they bought was of a high grade and there is no way these boys could afford something like this, which means someone is helping then or this whole event was planned by someone who wants to humiliate Eve.

They are different types of sealing items, there is a tattoo type, a wrist type, and lots more, and the tattoo type is one of the costliest one in the market due to his undetectable nature.

But right now is not the time to be thinking about that right now as he must save Eve before she becomes a plaything for these boys but he knew he could not do anything to them which leaves him with no other choice.

He glanced at Eve and gave her a signal which she easily caught and nodded.

He brought out a device and pressed a button on it "Now" he yelled as he ran away from there after dropping the device.

Eve also ran in his direction thanks to the startled boys as she knew how weak he is to run on his own.

Before the boys could register what was going on, they heard a loud and terrifying roar which made them look at the device and found out what it was.

"Shit, that bastard"
