Jennifer gets envious

"So, there is no Juliet here right? I have never seen anyone other than you when I came here before" Jennifer whispered moving slightly near Alex.

Jayden just turned around after taking the freshly ground coffee powder. When he saw them sitting next to each other and even being so close, he walked to Jennifer with hurried steps.

He then lifted her up and hugged her waist. Then he pulled her away from Alex and made her stand next to him.

"You stay away from my wife!" Jayden issued a warning to Alex.

"You are too possessive and if she runs away because..." before Alex could finish, his door was opened with force.

What the... Everyone was rushing into his house today without giving any prior notice.

Jennifer moved away at a slow pace, as she wanted to see if the newcomer was the Juliet whom Jayden mentioned before. As the space in the house was too small, Jennifer once again stood next to Alex in just a few steps.

Jayden who was now making the coffee didn't realize that Jennifer had moved away from him.

Ria who barged into the house saw Jennifer at first. She thought that the girl who cheated her brother and ran away was Jennifer. She decided that she must have now come back to take all the money which her brother made from this coffee shop.

"You! Why are you here?? How dare you come back?" Ria rushed forward with anger and lifted her hand to give Jennifer a slap.

No one has expected that Ria would react in such an abrupt way. Thankfully Jennifer's reflex was fast and she held Ria's hand with a firm grasp in no time.

She even twisted her hands behind and pushed her towards the wall while her face slammed against the wall. Ria felt dizzy for a second and struggled under her grip.

"You!! Let go of me! Such a shameless woman you are! How dare you come back and even get physical with me? Brother!! Are you just going to watch her hurt your own sister like this??

"Brother?Brother?" Jennifer repeated twice.

"She is not your Juliet?? I was thinking... oh forget it.." Jennifer realized that she was asking too much and stopped talking.

She must not poke her nose into someone else's life. So she kept quiet. But Jayden's loudmouth, who can control it?

"She is not!!! Look at her ugly face! If you see his Juliet, even you will fall in love! She's a beauty!" Jayden said.

"So you love... I mean did you like her too??" Jennifer asked while unknowingly twisting Ria's hand even more.

"Ouch!ouch! Let me go" Ria shouted in pain.

As her face was stuck to the wall, she did not notice Jayden but had a feeling that she had heard that voice before. It sounded too familiar to her.

"Answer me," Jennifer demanded.

All the while holding Ria's hand even harder and twisting it. Ria screeched in pain and started to struggle even more to release herself from the Devil's hold.

"No! I only love you! How can you not know?" Jayden said immediately.

Even after hearing his answer, Jennifer's mind was not relieved.

"Alex, I came here to drink the coffee you make. Since you are not making it today, then I am leaving. I will come back some other time when you do not have any guests to entertain." Jennifer muttered that while trying to hold her temper in place.

She immediately pushed Ria down. She walked fast towards the door without waiting for a reply from anyone. Jayden who saw Jennifer was leaving ran behind her ignoring everyone else.

He didn't care about anything anymore. All he wanted to do was clear the misunderstanding which was caused by his own mouth. He chased behind Jennifer while knocking down everything on the way.

Alex turned and looked at the mess which Jayden created. Then at Ria who was now looking at Jayden's back with shock. She sat in that place in a daze where she was pushed down.

"Why are you here?" Alex asked irritatingly.

"Brother, why did you not stop her from hurting me? Is your lover more important than your own blood-related sister?" Ria complained.

"She is not my lover. If you have nothing else to say, you may leave" Alex started to clean the mess.

"How can you be so cold? We used to be so close before but everything changed once you met your runaway bride. Don't you think you are so cruel? How can you..." Ria muttered under her breath.

"Yes, I am a cruel person but not as cruel as you guys are! Just leave... I don't want to be associated with you all anymore."

"You are an ingrate just like mother said. She always kept on blaming you for what happened to our family. Now I can see that it is all true. If I had not been studying overseas at that time, then I would have definitely saved you from that wretch's hands" Ria screamed at Alex.

"Good thing you were not there or else Melissa would have suffered even more. I don't mind her leaving me. So why should you? Just leave now. You know what? You are no less dreadful than your mother. You are equally shoddy! Now stop disturbing my peaceful life and get lost"

"No! Why should I leave? And do not forget, she is your mother too. Now listen carefully, I want you to sell this place and come home with me. We all really miss you." Seeing that all her shouting was not working, Ria started with her next strategy.

She knows her job depended on her brother. Only if he sells this cafe, can she become a full-timer!

"I am not selling this place and I am not going to come back anywhere." Alex lifted her up from the ground and held the same hand which Jennifer twisted.

"Ouch! Ouch! Brother, it is painful! Let go of me, please" Tears formed in her eyes and she started to cry loudly.

Alex let go of her once he reached outside. Then he walked inside the house and slammed the door on her face. He was really disappointed. What did he do wrong? Is loving someone more than his life, so wrong? Or trying to stop his parents from making unreasonable demands were wrong?

All he wanted was to live with her happily throughout his life. But why did everyone go against them? He never imagined that Melissa would leave him at the altar. Why? Where are you, Melissa? I am dying each day without you!! Please come back.

He controlled his tears from rolling down. What did he do so wrong? Why did she leave me without saying a word? When will she come back to me?

Just before they could take their oath, she just walked away. Leaving him standing all by himself. He tried to chase her but he was just a minute away. She disappeared into the crowd.

Her phone was switched off from that onwards. Later when he was under depression, her mother revealed few details while cursing Melissa. At that he realized, it was not Melissa's fault.

Her decision to leave him was actually not wrong. He stood up at that moment and left his house. He never contacted his parents or anyone after that.

Ria who was now left outside the locked door. She looked at it and even got irritated. Moreover, Jayden was here before. She shivered!! She could not imagine what would happen as he had already seen her face.

Is that girl, the rumored wife of their boss. Then she could be sure that they would remove her from this job without mercy.

No! I need to make sure my brother sells this place. Or else ... she couldn't even imagine what would happen next.

As she had made up her mind, Ria started to knock on the door with all her strength. Alex ignored her for more than fifteen minutes but even then she didn't stop.

"Brother, open the door! Please!! I miss you! Just let me in! Brother..."

Each time she hit the door, Alex felt like someone was striking him with a hammer on his head. He couldn't take it anymore and opened the door but didn't let her enter the house. He stood in front of her and blocked the way.

"What do you want?"

"Brother.."

"You do not have to lie! Just tell me the exact reason you came here"

"..... I want you to sell this cafe to our company"

"No! Now get lost"

"Brother, please. I may lose my job"

"I don't care and do not start with how much you guys love me. Do not try to make me a heartless person. Go ask your mother what she did with Melissa. Then if you still have the heart to see me, come back! I will show you what actually cruelty means?"

Alex once again closed the door with a bang. He hit the wall in front of him. His knuckles started to bleed. But the pain was lighter compared to the one Melissa gave.
