Battle Trail

This is so boring. I thought to myself trying to stay awake. In the morning we have English with Present Mic. "ALL RIGHT EVERYONE." "HANDS UP." "SHOW ME SOME SPIRIT!!" He yelled out to no avail. Lunch is the only cool place since we get to eat great food from the Cook Hero Lunch Rush. But It got really interesting in the Afternoon. Hero Basic Training with I thought Aizawa. Then suddenly I saw a massive frame appear in the door. "I HAVE COME THROUGH THE DOOR, LIKE NORMAL!!" It was All Might. The one hero I haven't met. This should be interesting. "HERO BASIC TRAINING!" "THE CLASS THAT'LL PUT THROUGH ALL SORTS OF SPECIAL TRAINING TO MOLD YOU INTO HEROES!!" "NO TIME TO DALLY. TODAY'S ACTIVITY IS THIS!!" He told us before holding up a card with the words battle on it.
When I saw the words battle I felt my body tense up a smile appear on my face. Thank you All Might. I said in my head. He then told us to get dressed in our costumes that we sent in with our quirk registry and meet at Ground Beta. I actually designed mine to be more casual and look like normal clothes. I designed Ochaco's too but she wanted to do it herself. She did take a few of my ideas but it's mostly all hers. As I make my way out with my gear on I feel like a pro. I'm really surprised they got the exact parts I asked for. Even the gloves are a nice touch. As I strapped them down. The boots are surprisingly soft inside. "Christan you look awesome." she said running up to me and pushing my hood off my head revealing my headphones. "Really this is not the time." She said trying to reach for them. I took them off my head and held them high above her while holding her back so she couldn't get them.
As I'm doing that I notice Midoriya walk out. "Oh hey Midoriya!" I call out getting Ochaco to leave me alone. We walked over to him. "Cool Costume Deku!!" "Really practical looking!" She told him. He looked really flustered. "Yeah not bad, just looks kinda similar to All Might." "You know with the "ears" & "smile" design." I explained making him look even more awkward. "I really admire him so I uhh…." He started saying under his breath almost like he was muttering. "I get it, we all have our heroes." I told before rubbing my head. "Speaking of suits I wish I'd been more specific in my request form...It's so puffy and curvy." Ochaco told while kinda blushing. "Puffy and Curvy indeed Bubble." I said under my breath but she totally caught it. But then Tenya asked All Might a question. "This appears to be the same field used in the exam." "Will we once again be performing cityscape maneuvers?" Tenya asked him looking pretty cool in that armor. "Nope you'll be moving on to step two! Indoor Anti-personnel battle training!!" He informed us.
"Villain battles are most commonly seen outdoors, but statistically the most heinous villains are more likely to appear indoors." I know that all too well. I thought to myself. "You'll now be split into Villian and Hero Teams and face off in two on two indoor battles!!" All might informed us. "I wasn't expecting to be part of a team but it really makes no difference." "A battle is a battle." We decided teams by drawing lots. It took a bit but eventually I was put on Team C. My partner is the girl with that big ponytail. I politely introduce myself putting my hand out for her to shake. "Hello I'm Christan Brooks, your partner." I am Momo Yaoyorozu, I am in your care. She said catching me a bit off guard. "You don't have to be so serious." "This is all practice so let's do our best out there." I say to her before smiling.
She had this look of confusion before sighing and smiling back. "Right then let's remain calm." "This will be a true learning experience." She said proudly as we walked into another building with everyone else. "That'll do Momo." I say as we get into a room with a giant screen in it. Turns out it's Midoriya and Ochaco as the heroes versus Bakugo and Tenya as villains. Their battle was really intense. Bakugo must really hate Midoriya. The blasts he was launching were nearly fatal. Ochaco couldn't really get past Tenya. But I guess at some point Midoriya came up with a plan to give them a opening. After the fight Momo really laid into them. And as much as I don't want to hurt Ochaco's feelings I have to be honest.
"Was it really that bad?" She asked me looking really exhausted. "Yeah it was pretty bad, if that was a real bomb the rocks you launched might cause more harm than good." "I'm not gonna say more than that." "Aside from that you did alright for your first time." I said making her frown change into a big smile. Then All Might called for me and Momo to head in the building. "I'll see you after this, wish me luck" I said before walking out to the building with Momo.
We get to the room and I'm a bit overwhelmed. This is my first real hero battle. Our opponents are Kaminari and Jirou. I know almost nothing about them. I know Kamanari has a electricity type quirk from yesterday's test. Jirou, from what I can tell her quirk has something to do with her ear lobes. For what is up in the air. Then Momo broke the silence. "So this is the bomb were protecting?" She firmly placed her hand on it almost making it almost fall over but I pulled it back to a steady position. "So that's your quirk." "I haven't seen something like that before" "Well that's half of it anyway." "Half?" She looked puzzled, so I broke it down for her. "My quirk is called Rebound, it gives me complete control over repulsive and attractive forces." "It allows me to repel and pull anything with with a 5 second cooldown." "If I were to do it inbetween this cooldown the the amount of force I'm able to unleash decreases substantially." I explained to her before pulled a staff out of stomach. "Well since we're sharing, I might as well tell about mine."
"My quirk is called Creation it allows me to materialize different objects, such as weapons and tools, from any part of my body." "The only requirements is for me to understand the atomic configuration of said object in order to reproduce it." She told twirling the staff and walking near the bomb. "That's a pretty versatile quirk, in fact that gives me an idea." I told her as I devilishly smirked.
Jirou P.o.V
This place is a lot darker than it looked on the monator. I go up to a wall and plug one of my jacks into a wall to hear them above us. I looked over to Kamanari and pointed above us. His hand the started spark before we made our way to the third floor.
Christan P.o.V
As Momo pulled out these metal sheets from her body . "Its not a bad Idea." "It might not be perfect but it's good enough against them." I told her as I grabbed one.
"This could go completely wrong." —she grabbed a couple the the metal sheets —"And I'll take all the blame if so, your just gonna have to trust me." I told before smiling. Just then a giant yellow lightning bolt flew throught the wholedoor blowing off all sheets, almost hitting Momo. But I reacted quick enough to pull her out of the way. "The 3rd floor huh." "Thought you could hide on one of the lower floors." Kaminari said as an electronic field was send towards us. We nearly jumped over him and near the bomb.
"You could have warned me that you were gonna do something that large" Jirou in a frustrated tone told him she fanned away smoke." "You have to make a big entrance in these type of situations." He said before they made there way towards us" "You keep them from the bomb, I'll keep them busy." "Your gonna take them both on?" She then looked back to me and smiled. "Your just gonna have to trust me." She then rushed them both landing a strike on Kamanari in the gut with her staff. He then used his quirk as he grabbed her staff shocking her, literally. Jirou then tried to bind her with the capture tape but I used my quirk to send both Jirou and Kamanari flying into the wall.
Momo then made her way over to me after dropping her staff. "Are you okay?" I ask her as I check her arm that looked to be fine. I let out a sigh relief. "I'll be just fine." She said as she struggled to get up. I helped her stand up before I noticed Kamanari and Jirou had attempted to rush us. But I launched them back but it felt a lot weaker. "What's wrong with your face?" "Those marks weren't that far a few moments ago." Momo asked me sounding very concerned. I felt my face snd the cracks had reached past my nose. I initially freaked out but I quickly kept my composure. "Its nothing important." As I said that Jirou had sent a sound wave at us, knocking us down. They then ran to the bomb and put their hands on it. "Bomb secured!"
"Uhh All Might we hot the bomb where's the announcement of the hero team winning?" Kamanari confusingly asked All Might through his earpiece. "Young Kamanari I would give you the win if it wasn't—" "A fake." Momo said as she stood up along with me. "A fake?!" They both yelled out as the looked at the bomb. "Where's the real thing you might be asking yourself." "It would be of the fifth floor." I told them before they tried to frantically run out of the room before I used my quirk to pull them right in the and into my hands. "Oh come on, he can even also pull us." Kamanari said as we heard All Might yell out that the Villain team had won.
"Yes!" Me and Momo yelled before we hugged before I felt weird. Light headed even. I felt my vision get blurry before I fell into Momo's chest unconscious. I woke up in the nurse's office. "Oh your awake, you really stressed out your noggin." I heard Recovery Girl tell me. "Granny?" "I guess I really over did it, didn't I." I awkwardly said to her scratching my head. "I already healed yah, all you need was a little mental rest." She told me giving me candy. "Thanks Granny. " I say before I turn around and see Midoriya still asleep in the other bed next to me.
"Will he be okay?" "I wouldn't worry about him, he's already quickly recovering now he just needs to rest for now." She stated to me before I left the room. I almost ran into the really skinny guy with long messy blonde hair and sick look to him. I get back to the class and open the door. Oh hey guys Christan's awake!! Welcome back man!! The guy with the spiky red hair yelled out getting almost everyone's attention. "I'm Eijiro Kirashima." "That was an amazing strategy back there!" "Very clever." He told me. A pink girl that I noticed yesterday started talking. "I'm Mina Ashido!" "You have such a cool quirk." "You were like push and the outta nowhere you pull." She said mimicking my my stance from then. I felt a bit overwhelmed having this much attention after just waking up. I talked to them for a bit before I made my way over to Momo to apologize.
"Hey, Momo I'm sorry for not telling you about what was actually going on with me during the practice." "I felt like I could handle it due to my experience-. "You don't have to apologize, I'm just relieved your okay." I noticed her arm was bandaged up. "Whats that?" I asked both confused and concerned. "Oh this, its from that electric shock earlier." "Seems like we both kept secrets." She said as we both laughed. "Well now from now on no more secrets." "Deal?" I said putting my fist out for a fist bump. She gave me this happy smile before fist bumping me. "I'd like that, deal." She said as I saw Midoriya come in. I wasn't going to bother him along him along with everyone else so I went back to my seat where my headphones were. Ochaco must have brought them here while I was out. I looked over to her and she smiled and gave me a thumbs up. I put them on and hit random on my playlist. Man, this place is so much fun. To think I didn't think I'd like it here. Big mistake on my part. I met a new a few new friends, saw a few new quirks. I even got to battle. Tomorrow should be even better...
