This is the best story I have ever read and i wish I could give more stars for everything BUT update stability which is veary bad. This is the second time i belive that the author lost motivation in continuing this novel. Even though its not finnished and we will probably never get to the end it its still a worthy read due to the quality of the story.
The novel is good, well written, the character development is interesting and overall it's a good novel. But if there's a taunting thing about this novel it's that it's full of jargon, that's the bad thing. Every interaction between the protagonist and another character has to have a jargon, and the worst thing is when this happens in the middle of fights, the characters are attacking each other, then they stop to say they're going to kill themselves, they go back to attacking and stop again to drop other jargon and it's like that throughout the fight, it seems like interactions of children who are playing superheroes. The fight that was supposed to be frantic, one wanting to kill the other and leaving no chance for the rival to breathe, but no, it's 1 attack and a jargon, another attack and another jargon. I recommend the novel, but you'll have to get used to it.
This is the best novel i read on this site. I dunno why but l concept of the different world was really intriguing. It became so bewildering after athena's explaination that i got hooked. The only faults i could find were that character development has become rather rushed and that the transition into the norse mythology was too sudden. But still it remains the best for me. Keep working hard mr. author. see ya!!!
One of my favorite books, if not my favorite. 365 chapters, 2 days of reading. I truly recommend this book. You will feel pain, sadness, happiness, love. If you do not jump up in your seat and exclaim "f*** yes!" at least once, I can only say I have no taste in books. There are unresolved characters and plot points that could have developed better, and the mix up between he/she is pretty common, but for a new author I can only say this is immensely impressive to me. btw, read past the 3rd arc, its my favorite part if you can.
I'm not sure why most people keep complaining about the fact that van never had a single win. also how tf can u say that story went downhill after the Timeskip? 1) I'm not sure what novels you've been reading but heroes can't always win( technically van is not a hero but still) him losing everything after having gotten them is kinda sad and I'll admit I kinda hated the author for that but still there were many parts which I found enjoyable and sometimes even sad. Van meeting the forest giants and meeting his daughter, killing Charlotte, learning of atermis's death etc... I cried for each of these scenes, although it makes me frustrated but still if a person only wins all the time and never truly faces a loss or never lost anything then van would be like all the OPMC's out there. also in the recent chapter we learn the possibility of a higher existence watching over van. anyway my point is that even though there are some frustrating moments the novel is still one of my favs and because it makes me frustrated I still hope to see a better ending for this.
