C25: Siblings Reuniting

"You!!??"

"Wait! Owl!" Katie's voice ringed inside Owl's mind too. "I didn't kill him, it was just an act you bloody fool!"

Owl stopped in his tracks and spread his wings to break the glide. He slowly floated down into the pile of wheat and shoved his whole body into it.

A bright flash came and Owl jumped out of the pile of wheat.

"My God... Why would you think that I'll kill my brother?" She asked him, amusingly.

He stared at her annoyingly. "You did pull out much more of an act there," Owl finally spoke. Even Katie was surprised to see this.

"Oh ho... So you talk when you're excited huh? So Lil Rick was right." Katie asked him, smirking at him.

'Oh no!' Owl was frightened to talk to a person, though he speaks up when he is overly excited. It was a trait Owl had since he was an orphan of the church. He was always lonely, even when he was a child.

But when he left the church and joined his new friends, he wasn't. But his development of communication was just too slow.

"Oi! You guys... What the hell happened back there!?" Elijah and the other two boys joined in with them.

The crowd was surrounding the place where Rick's fake body was. And the tension in there was growing bit by bit. Since they were out of the crowd, Katie was safe.

"Hi, Elijah." Katie smiled, glancing at Elijah. "It's been a long time... And what a coincidence! I met my stupid younger brother in the same meeting after 12 years! It was such a wonderful thing! That's where we caught up with this popularity thing!" She laughed.

Katie and Rick, bastards of a noble. And yes... None of the 3 had seen both of them in 12 years. It was truly a surprise to see these two here. Except for Aether, who had never seen Katie before.

"Damn Katie... I've missed you so much!" Elijah instantly hugged her, tightening her arms and sharing her embrace.

Owl wanted to join in but... He was too shy because Elijah was hugging her. 'What if I touch somewhere inappropriate! Elijah's going to kill me!' He thought.

Though, he wasn't scared to touch Katie. Because she would gladly take his hands and make him squeeze her breasts like it's nothing.

After Owl hugged Katie, Luke came and gave her a hug with a smirk.

"Hi, Katie." He whispered in her ear, slowly sliding his fingers down her waist as he embraced her.

"Mmm... I can still remember the last time when we met in the castle of Riverria... That was the best sex I've ever had, in that princess's bed..." she murmured to Luke's ear as she slid her hand down his chest to his lower body.

"Tonight will be fruitful..." Luke slowly stopped back, using all his spirit to do so. He just didn't want those breasts to lose the friction on his chest.

Katie bit her lip in a way that made Luke spring up instantly.

"Ahem..." Elijah coughed, getting suspicious about the two. "Where's Rick?"

Katie's mood went from happy to annoyed. "Ughh... Him. Must be somewhere hiding. You see, he got this new skill where he can control a puppet clone by himself... He told me that he found it from some dungeon or something..." she said, utterly bored.

"Wow... Must be something interesting!" Elijah jabbered, getting into the sister's nerves.

"Oi! Over here!"

A very similar voice came from somewhere close by. Owl turned around and saw a man waving at them inside a carriage.

A guy with sharp hair shaped in a curved upward manner. His hair was purple and his skin was pale. The guy had a vicious grin on his face.

He was... Rick Skidro.

"Rick! There you are!" Owl waved him back. The man got out of the carriage, tightening the white glows covering his arms.

For a while, they talked with each other, discussing how they've changed throughout the years. Though, since Aether was new, he couldn't quite get what they were saying.

Finally;

"Who's that new guy there? The one who was dropped off from that merchant you mentioned earlier?" Rick asked Elijah, pointing a finger at Aether.

Elijah turned to Aether and smiled. "No no... He's my friend. He's been helping me and Winry out for 5 years now. He's a good one, you'll get along with each other, in time."

Rick gazed at Elijah's eyes and saw the flicker in her eyes when she said, "No no..."

'So she's lying about the merchant's servant... Something interesting, finally... Can't wait to see that guy,' Rick thought, narrowing his eyes at Elijah.

"Hey... By the way, where are Winry and the others?" Katie jumped in, questioning Elijah.

"Ugh..." She paused for a moment. Actually, why were they late? Did they really find a clue? Elijah started to wonder.

"I guess they will be here soon..." she said.

Elijah and the 3 boys were tired after walking around the city and finding absolutely nothing, except for the 2 siblings. So they needed to take a break.

"Hmm... What do you say, you four!? Need a drink for old times sake?" Rick asked from the group.

The whole group smirked after hearing this from Rick. "On you!" All of them said, even his sister.

Rick glared at his sister like he was looking at some low life. "Everyone except..." he pointed a finger at Katie.

"You."

Katie pulled out her gun from her side belt, pointing it at his brother. The bother gobbled, because this time... He wasn't a puppet.

Katie seductively winked at him.

"My God... Come along." Rick turned around, bringing the group along. They walked through the streets and Rick invited them into the largest inn at West Lake. 'I hate her...'

"THE SILVER BEARD," the sign hanging over the inn said. It was printed in words embedded with shining silver.

'Phew... This Rick guy is rich...' Aether told himself, following his fellow people into the inn. 'Nothing less expected from one of the greatest thieves in Argoth.'
