C24: Siblings

"What in the name of —" Elijah's jaw dropped open before she could finish her sentence.

Rick glanced at the guards dashing through the crowds towards him and smirked. 'Hehe... A total loss for you today, guys! Sorry!'

He turned around, dramatically, making his cape blow away with the wind.

"I —"

Shoot! A gunshot roared across the harbor. Rick glanced down at his chest and saw the blood, slowly spreading on his shirt.

"Ouch..." he whispered to himself.

"Ric —" Before Elijah could run to save him, someone placed their hand on her shoulder, pushing her back.

But the touch on her shoulder was more than familiar to her. Who was it? She turned around, only to see a tall woman with high heels and a long hat of a witch, but with a black rose on top.

Her maxi skirt exposed her left leg cut up to the peak of her thighs and her breasts exposed in a way, enough for a man to wet himself just by a single glance. She was dressed like a highborn lady. But the seductive shape of her body spoke of something different.

Elijah's jaw dropped further when she saw the lady standing beside her.

"K – Katie!?" She mumbled to the lady.

"Yes yes... Hi Elijah. We'll explain later!" She whispered to her, keeping her pistol pointed to Rick.

Suddenly, she pulled out another gun with her left hand from her side belt and pointed it at the man in front of her.

"If you please drop the weapon and the crystals? We can't let you have those beautiful crystals, can we now?" The lady asked Rick.

Rick placed his left hand to his waist to block the blood outage. With his right, he held the enormous scythe, and yet... The showdown was not about to end.

"Haha... Lady, do you think a low-grader's shot like yours would cut through my nice abs?" Rick asked from the lady, finally managing to get himself up.

Even the crowd gasped upon hearing these harsh words, astonished.

He placed his scythe over his shoulder and smirked at the lady.

"Now... You just —"

Shoot! Another bullet shot Rick's chest, and that made Rick step a little backward. "Hmm? What did you say? My low-grader shots?"

"Yeah! You show him, lady!" The crowd suddenly started to cheer the man.

"You show who the low-grade motherfucker is babe!!" Luke yelled from the front of the crowd. Katie's eyes went to Luke and she winked at him.

All the men surrounding the woman started to cheer her from the back. They were going crazy over the lady's shape, her beauty, and most of all, her skills.

Even the guards had stopped in their tracks to check the woman in battle.

'Tch! Sister... I'll show you what this little brother could do, wild bitch!' Rick was pissed after his sister's despicable mockery of him.

"Imma fucking kill you, lady!" Rick took a step forward and jumped at a tremendous speed. He shot into the air and flipped twice before landing on top of the flag post of the ship that was anchored nearly 20 feet away from the place he was standing before. Yes... He jumped that high.

"Oh?" Katie muttered amusingly. "Jumping won't let you loose, would it?" She asked from the brother, and Shoot! Another shot was fired.

'Wha — just how fucking fast is she?' The whole crowd observing the scene was thinking this.

"I think... That guy's dead." A guard who came chasing the thief whispered to his buddy nearby.

Elijah gulped after seeing this. Just what were they doing? Why are they killing each other!? Are they crazy!? She asked herself.

'Wait...' she figured why they were doing this. 'Is she —

"Go, lady! You can do this!!"

"You're the best! More powerful than a King's Knight itself!!"

She heard the crowd screaming and cheering for her. 'So that is it... She is trying to get popular.' After figuring this out, a malicious smile came to her face.

'Hehe...'

"You go, lady!!!!" Elijah joined in with the crowd, laughing at Luke who was cheering her like crazy. She didn't even know whether he knew the secret or he just got angry after Rick called her a low grader.

Rick's bleeding just got worse and blood started to pour out of the corner of his lips. But still, he had it in him.

'I'm not going to lose without, giving you a nice beating..." he whispered to himself, glancing at the woman's eyes. Her hat covered her beautiful eyes, not letting them distract her opponent.

Rick had to push his limits to put up a show here, even though if this was an act. Things had already gone too far after him been hit with 3 bullets.

"Devil's Slash!" Rick yelled as he swung the scythe at Katie. The scythe lit up with a dark fire and as he swung it, a ripple of dark flame shot towards Katie.

'Hmm... You've gotten good, my little brother,' Katie told herself lifting her head, slightly, letting her eye within eyesight for Rick.

Rick saw her left eye, glimmering with a sparkle. But that deadly look in her eye just startled him.

The ripple of fire hit the place where the woman was standing and Boom! There was an enormous explosion.

"Heh? Did I get her?" Rick was frightened now. He didn't mean to kill his sister, no matter how much she mocked him. Though that move felt pretty damn good.

"Oi... Oi —"

Shoot! A bullet shot from Rick's back, piercing through the back of his skull, appearing through his forehead.

The crowd gasped as they saw the woman flipping in mid-air. She landed on the long flag pole of the ship, as her little brother fell from the flag post down to the bottom of the ship.

"She did it!! She did it!!!" The men in the crowd yelled. The guards rushed into the ship to find the bag of shellfire crystals and the crystals were lying on the floor, just like that.

And when the guards looked up, the woman had disappeared.

"God... That bloody woman. Just who was that?" One of the guards asked his buddy guard.

"Another secret legend maybe... Will fit perfectly as a King's private maid," the other guard told him as he picked up the bag of shellfire crystals.

However, Elijah and the two boys were utterly shocked. Katie just killed his little brother... But did she?

It was so real that they couldn't even figure out if it were an illusion or a reality. Maybe a clone? But...

"Elijah... Come here." A whisper ringed on Elijah's mind. She turned back and saw a hand waving to her, behind a large cart filled with wheat.

"Luke, Aether. She's there." Elijah whispered to the crew and slowly made her way through the crowd.

Meanwhile...

"What in the fucking name of God! Why did you... Kill Rick! No!! No, I won't let you go traitor!" Owl flew down towards Katie, who was hiding behind a large cart.
