DATE'S END

During lunch, we talked a lot. Rogue is so calm and composed that no one will even guess that I just licked her, and she squirted on my face.

She is so cute...

Rogue was like a little kid who finally got a friend. She told me about her life in the academy and how everyone behaves around her.

After hearing her, I realized that her life was all enclosed within the four walls of the academy. Everything she knows happened within the four walls of the academy. Although, she often sneaks out of there for some fresh air.

Before the merge, there was huge chaos and fights between mutants and the government. I don't know the details, except for what the news showed us, but it was huge. Apparently, the government even tried to use missile strikes but eventually failed due to a mutant with the ability to control metals.

Anyway, that's in the past. I am glad that everyone is co-existing together without useless battles. Well, count out those freaky vampire ninjas and those villains. They don't fall under the category of humans, well... except for Harley and maybe that plant lady, Ivy, or something in Gotham. I saw Ivy's picture in the newspaper and on TV.

Let me tell you, she is a sex bomb. Although she is green, her exposed assets, god, are a sight to behold.

After lunch, we decided to take some rest.

Right now, Rogue is lying beside me, on my arm, on the large rubber boat in the pool.

It's so calm and peaceful. We are just lying there without words. And I am playing with the white strand of hair.

"You know, this white strand adds a unique charm to you. Did you dye it?" I asked.

"Thanks, but it's not a dye..." Rogue looked a bit distant.

"Hey, I am sorry. I didn't mean to press you." I said, noticing her worried and distant expression.

"Don't be. It's all in the past, anyway..." Rogue explained the story behind the strand of white hair.

From what she told me, that mutant who controls metal captured her and tried to use her to change all humans into mutants, but eventually failed with Wolverine's timely arrival. Had it not been for him sharing his healing ability with her, she would have died. During that time, a strand of her hair became white.

"I know I died back then," Rogue mumbled, "If not for Logan and the others..." Her voice drifted off.

I hugged her and just stayed there without a word. Sometimes, it doesn't require words to show your feelings. I didn't know that she faced death. It's not easy to talk about one's death experience, but I am glad she told me. It must be painful for her... remembering that painful event again.

Fuck! I shouldn't have asked.

If it happened once, that bastard might try to capture her again. So, I used Q&Q to enhance her body twice. I don't know how strong she has physically become, but I am certain that her body has become strong. I could have boosted her more, but I didn't want her to get too much stronger suddenly.

It will attract attention...

Let's keep it a secret from her. If she gets captured again, I don't want the psychic/ telepathy power user in the enemy's team to read her mind and find out about the enhancement.

Rogue is sleeping peacefully in my arms.

Haaa. Sleep well, Anna. Sleep well...

It feels good, you know, watching her sleep so peacefully. It's like I can stay here forever, watching her face.

Haha, cheesy. I know. But I am certain about one thing. It's not sexual attraction or lust or anything like that. I feel something different...

My heart feels warm, and I am happy to be just there with her.

I really love this girl in my arms. I want to take care of her. I want to love her. I want to see her smile. I want her to share her pains and worries with me. I want her to live a happy life with me. I want to fill her life with nothing but happiness.

I will definitely, fill your life with so much happiness that will make you forget all your pains and traumas. I swear on my life, Anna.

I moved the strand of hair from her face and tugged it behind her ears. Then I softly touched her cheek with my thumb.

"Mumm..." Rogue opened her eyes with a yawn. She rubbed her eyes and looked at me.

"Hey," I said softly.

"Hey," Rogue smiled.

"Have a good rest?" I asked.

"Yeah. You know... I didn't have any bad dreams today," said Rogue.

"I am glad," I replied.

"But, I spoiled the date by sleeping. Sorry. I don't know what happened... I just wanted to..." I stopped Rogue from speaking any further.

"Don't be sorry. After all, I got to see you sleeping and snoring," I said with a little chuckle.

"I never snore!!!" Rogue protested, lightly nudging my arm.

"Are you sure about that?" I said.

Rogue looked stunned. For a moment, she really believed my words.

"Aahahaha!"

"Look at your face..."

I burst out in laughter.

Splash!

Rogue pushed me into the pool, "Hahaha! Got you..." She is laughing.

"Oh, I don't think so," I grabbed her hand and pulled her into the pool.

Splash!

"Aaa! Hahaha!" Rogue fell into the pool, and then she started to swim away like a professional swimmer. She is fast, "You can't catch me..."

"We will see about that," I chased after her.

We enjoyed ourselves and played for another hour before getting out of the water. It's almost dark.

We changed and left the park. The manager was glad that we paid them a visit. I am sure he is very glad because he is going to enjoy the money I paid in a lump. Sadly, we didn't have the time to enjoy the spa. But it's alright. We can visit next time, or maybe I will buy a theme park.

I dropped Rogue before the academy. We kissed each other and said our goodbyes. I promised her to visit soon.

Jubilee, Kitty, and a blue woman were peeking their heads out from the wall. They look like three musketeers, haha. The power of passing through objects is really awesome.

I made my way toward home. I wonder what those two girls are doing right now. They haven't even called me once.

Well, I should buy some food and other ingredients. Let's cook them something good.

I can see something green following me in the rear mirror.

But for what reason is she following me? I don't remember messing with any lanterns or anyone powerful recently. Moreover, her smell... She isn't a human.

I drove to an empty place away from the town. Then I got out of the car.

The green lady landed a few meters from me. Her skin looks purple, and her ears are longer than humans.

"You need something from me?" I inquired.

"The box. Where is it?" She replied.

I knew it. It's nothing but trouble.

I ran over to the car and took it out, "You mean this box?" I showed her the box.

However, before she could answer, another uninvited guest arrived.
