Concealing the Truth

While Huan driving back sushi home, he seems like full of questions and dont know where to start with hesisating and asking several times in mind. Meanwhile Sushi lost in her own daydream, peeking out the window with her cheeks blushing like a lowest temperature on earth. Her mind swung back to the heart touching instant when June had held her in his arms—a gesture that sent a tornado of feelings racing through her heart. 

"hey, have you fallen for him?" , Huan fired a quick shot.

Sushi's heart skipped a beat at his sudden inquiry, her breath catching in her throat as she struggled to find the right words.

"What are you talking about? It's nothing like that," she stammered, her voice tinged with tension.

"It doesn't seem like that. You hurt yourself deliberately to escape from reality, am I right?" he pressed, his tone tinged with a mixture of concern and anger.

"No, it just happened like that," she deflected, her words laced with evasion. "Maybe... maybe it was just a stroke of luck." Deep inside, she understood that her intentions weren't just a matter of luck.

"You're avoiding the real issue by hiding the truth from him," Huan stated firmly, pulling over to the side of the road.

Sushi sighed, "I will tell him eventually, I promise. But first, I need to figure out what happened between my sister and him. I've been trying to reach Chloe, but she's not responding to my calls. Maybe she's busier than I realized," she said, her expression filled with question marks.

"With the current circumstances, it doesn't matter what happened. Huan added in a loud voice, "You still have the option to tell him, and you have to tell him before it's too late, before it hurts both of you."

"That's true, I understand, he doesn't even know my existence, how can I even start?" Sushi with a depressing vibe

"What? That June doesn't know you—what do you mean? Huan is perplexed

"Yeah Huan, June didn't know about me, he doesn't know that Chloe has a twin sister," she disclosed the startling truth.

"How did you find out that he has affections for your sister if you two don't know each other, and how can you feel so at ease with him? Sincerely, based on what I saw of you today, it doesn't seem like you know him only for short time; rather, you behaved and felt at ease with him as you were well-versed in him. Huan was babbling nonstop, expressing every notion that was driving him insane.

"Even if I tell you that some people are like that to us, you won't understand. In any case, don't worry about me; I'll take care of it shortly". Sushi is gripping Huan's hands and pleading with him to stop talking about this.

"I've known you since we were kids, yet right now you're hiding things from me. Huan gave her a stern look and reminded her of their friendship and commitment. "Okay, fine, don't tell me," he said.

"I promise to tell you everything when the time comes". Her innocent face and adorable eyes said, "Let's go home and leave this for now."

Upon realizing that she would not be telling the truth at this point, Huan turned on the car quietly and drove her home.

As Sushi was about to turn in for the night, she got a message from June. Her face glowed in the darkness like stars.

"How are you doing right now?, are you feeling better now?" Juan sent her a message that was really worried.

Sushi said, "I really appreciate your help back there," with a tone of sincerity. "I couldn't properly thank you at the company, but I wanted you to know how much I appreciate your kindness."

When Sushi saw June's next message, she was shocked beyond belief. 

"Who is Sushi?", June's message.
