Lu Man's Worries

After dropping off Lu Man at the Lu family mansion, Han bilu drove to a condominium which she bought some years back. This condominium was bought by her several years back when she made her first millions. After discovering she had some weird aspects of her that her family and friends didn't seem to notice, she started hiding alot of secrets about her. Since the Han family mansion was inconvenient for her to keep a number of her works, as she was afraid of her family discovering how perverse she is, she bought the condominium after making her first millions designing for a client abroad who paid her quite well. Her family doesn't have any knowledge of the condominium as she bought it under a different name and she hardly spends the night over so they don't get suspicious about her.

The condominium houses quite a number of her secrets and works for years. Some of which includes the different dresses and jewelry she's designed for years, Some of her calligraphy works, her drawings etcetera.

Stepping into the house Han bilu felt dehydrated, so she went to the refrigerator to get some water for her parched throat. While drinking water, she heard her phone which she left at the centre table in the living room ring severally but she ignored it till she finished two bottle water. Finally feeling satisfied, she strolled towards the living room, picked up her phone and saw that her friend Lu Man called her twice and her Dad was the last caller. she ignored her Dad's call and clicked on Lu Man's number intending to call her back and inform her that she was back home, safe and sound. she was pretty sure her friend was worried about her, since Lu Man told her to immediately call her once she was back home safely.

Before the call could connect, Lu Man called back again. Seeing that, a small smile played on Han bilu's face. she could imagine how anxious Lu Man must be currently. Picking up the call, she had her friend's anxious voice on the other end.

"Hello, Bilu dear. Are you okay? Are you home yet? Why weren't you picking up your call? Hello?" immediately she picked up, Han bilu could hear her friend's anxious and worried voice bombarding her with a series of questions.

"Manman am fine, sorry I got you worried. I just got home few minutes ago and felt a bit tasty so I went to grab some water to drink. I was planning to call you after I was done." Han bilu slowly answered her friend's questions while smiling. She was glad one of her best friend was back to support her. she really missed them alot. Atleast now she had a reason to smile despite whatever she was facing. She was sure her upcoming days won't be so gloomy regardless, because Lu Man has a way of cracking her up sometimes with her tendency to overeact to issues.

Han bilu could hear her friend breath a long sigh of relief from the other end of the call.

"Am glad you're okay and home now.Your Dad called my house phone earlier and kept asking of you, demanding you come home immediately even after I told him you were already on your way home. You needed to hear how scary his voice was, he sounded pissed, girl!! I had to feign a network disconnection and cut the call." "Anyways, where are you right now? Are you sure you're really okay with staying alone?. Do you want me to come keep you company, I can ask our chauffeur to send me, you just give me the address okay?" Lu Man was still worried about Han bilu staying alone especially after all that happen with Chen Mubai and Han Lina. She couldn't put her mind at rest. She had also faced betrayal before so she knows how frustrating and heartbreaking it feels. So she wants to be with her friend at all times incase she has the thought of doing anything silly that would endanger her life.

Chuckling at her friend's overreaction, Han bilu continued to assure her "I'm really okay Manman, believe me. You just have to help me avoid telling my family anything no matter how much they pressure you. I'll go back home when I feel it's time and I can face them and not cower. For now, I just want to concentrate on the Test project CEO Zhang Heng gave me. Remember I'm to submit the draft tomorrow, so I have to start working. I definitely do not need any distractions of sorts."

"Yes Yes, I almost forgot." patting her forehead, Lu Man wondered how she could forget such an important matter.

"Do you want me to come over and help. Or maybe I can help you from here if you don't want me to come over. I have my laptop with me here, you can just tell me what you need me to do and it's done." Lu Man also studied architecture as part of her training and personally got taught by a renowned architect her family hired to teach her. She also got some lessons from her grandfather who is an architect, once in a while. So even though she didn't major in architecture in the university but instead is currently studying Estate Management, she still has an idea about Architecture, designing and drawing up a plan for a project.
