The Test

Han bilu Knew all that but, this was a test for her. She needed to do it alone and do it flawlessly, if indeed she was determined to change her fate. This was a small test compared to what await her in the future.

[ Flashback...]

"Alright" Finally regaining his composure, Zhang Heng cleared his throat and continued

"Let's do this.. I'll give you a Test and if you can give me a satisfactory result, Then I'll consider your offer."

Han bilu eyes brightened immediately, but she kept silent and waited for him to continue and say what the test was about. Either ways, it's not like her to back out of whatever she puts her mind on. So, she'll do her best to get more than a satisfactory review from him regardless of what the Test was about. She came there Mentally prepared because she knew it wasn't going to be easy getting his approval.

Staring at the young girl's bright eyes, Zhang Heng didn't have the heart to make things difficult for her. But seeing as this was business, he had to be strict and thorough.

"Since you seem to know so much about the Su corporation then you should have probably heard about the recent New Era World project they were awarded by the government." Zhang Heng stated, Stealing a glance at Su Tiangxio when he felt his friend's gaze at him. Su Tiangxio wondered what his friend was up to this time around.

"Since you also know that their head designer and architect was recently involved in an accident and still in coma.Then, you should have figured that the blueprints and draft was not completed before the unfortunate incident.."

The great devil and Su Tiangxio could immediately guess the direction Zhang Heng talk was heading. Su Tiangxio couldn't believe that his friend was dragging the Su corporation into this issue when it was Zhang Heng the girls came there for. He decided to keep silent though and hear him out before he could conclude on his friend's exact intention. But knowing Zhang Heng, despite being a ladies man, one thing he doesn't joke with is business. He's the type that knows when to draw the line between business and pleasure or fun.

The great devil also had same thought as Su Tiangxio. If anything Zhang Heng had a great work ethic which was admired by all because he knew just the right balance between business and pleasure. That despite being a well known casanova, is still a very successful and principled businessman admired by many.

Lu Man was clueless and clearly impatient but just had to control the urge to scream at Zhang Heng to spill what he wanted them to do and get it over with. Why drag things out when you can just be straight forward?. She felt like beating him up for making her exhaust her brain cells.

But Han bilu already knew where he was headed and what the test was about. Ofcourse how can she not know, she did her homework before coming to meet a successful businessman like Zhang Heng. From the Zhang corporation to his friends and their different corporations. She knew every information she needed to know that aren't even privy to most of the companies high ups. How she knew all that? Well I believe that is a story for another day.

Looking at Zhang Heng, Han bilu waited for him to continue. After a couple of minutes and deliberation Zhang Heng finally spoke up

"I want you to come up with a design and detailed plan for the project. If your design can gain the approval of president Su and Chairman Su then.. I promise to consider your offer. And you have just two days to do that!" Looking at the way Lu Man's eyes bulged out in surprise after hearing him mention Han bilu had just three days to complete the project, for some reason, Zhang Heng suddenly felt guilty and bad. It was as if he was bullying two young girls even though that wasn't his intention, there was absolutely nothing he could do about that. The contract with the Han corporation was to be signed in three days. In fact it was already late to even consider changing companies and designs since the high up of the Zhang corporation already accepted and approved the design and plan submitted by the Han corporation just that the contract has yet to be officially signed. But it was already an insider knowledge that the project was going to the Han corporation without any doubt.

So if he was going to be switching on the Han corporation for this young lad then it should be worth it. She needed not just talent but extra plan up her sleeves to make it possible.

"Actually... she doesn't have two days for that. She has less than twelve hours!!" Saying Su Tiangxio turned to Zhang Heng who was staring at him perplexed by what he meant by twelve hours.

Sighing, he explained "There will be a final meeting with the executives and higher management to choose the final design and plan for the project among the many offers submitted so far. Grandfather will personally be there to participate in screening the various designs. You know how important the project is to him, he's taking no chances. So unless she can handover the design to me for submission before the screening, she can forget about getting the design approved despite how good and extraordinary it turns out."

Zhang Heng:"..."

Lu Man:"...."

Seeing all their expressions, for some reason, Su Tiangxio couldn't help but feel sorry for the young Lady. He could tell she really wanted this project for reasons best known to her though. Now the only way for her to get it was cut short. Sighing he couldn't help but look at her with pity. Business was business, it wasn't like there was anything he could do about it. It was just her luck that she came at a bad timing.

"I'll do it!" Everyone turned to look at the determined young lady who has clearly not lost her spark as her eyes were still gleaming with hope and determination despite hearing everything Su Tiangxio just said.

"I said I'll do it. I'll take you up on your offer.."
