Honestly couldn’t wait so long to see all the unreleased chapters after 1500+ chapters of reading. Went into mtl and finished it up there, I love the book. Author is by far one of the few who has genuinely taken their time to ensure that the plot holes are explained and that the story is well connected. Reminded me a little of ”Release that witch”. Do give this book a shot, it is definitely worthwhile reading this.
An overpowered main character that has a hate-love relationship with the item gacha. This seems like a self-indulgent fiction featuring Lu Zhou cleaning up the mess brought by the original and Jiang Wenxiu, there is no teacher attempting to turn his disciples good. Treat this as half slice-of-life and a comedy relief so you won't get mad with its story progress like other readers. Can I just say I felt disappointed with the OG by chapter 663 and 664? Anyway, just stay for the disciples- they are a riot. I just want to say sorry for doubting Old Ninth 😂, you're not a green lotus but a genuine white lotus gal! Sibling wars at its finest- rivalry, violence and solidarity. Although one can't help but question the logic of some characters, the hints of past substance is really intriguing. Current Chapter Read: 665
Even though this book isn't ridiculously good, for some reason when I read it like stable because I don't dislike the mc or other characters because one time the mc of another book annoyed me that i wanted someone to beat him and let him lose then i looked back i just dropped it because that not how im supposed to feel about the mc and book .This book is pretty goooooooooooooooooooooood.
Oohhh very interesting title and story. Hahaha. The mc is very interesting too, even his disciples. All (except one( are betrayers. I can't wait to know how he will discipline all his villain disciples who betrayed him and want him dead, specially disciples no.1 and no. 2. Can't wait to read it. Good job author. I very much like this story of yours 🤗😘
Overall a good cultivation novel, quite refreshingly different from the usual run of the mill ones. Will definitely recommend others to read through at least 20-30 chapters before forming Adm opinion. Unlike what the title suggests, the master and disciples are really not that villainous in the story so far (which is really refreshing). I have a couple of gripes though. The primary being that we do not get to know the mind of the transmigrant MC. All we see is the MC playing the role of 'old villain' (whose body he occupies) as best as he can. But it's really a stretch to imply that this is really what he wants to do especially for someone coming from modern earth. Somehow the MC totally adopts the role as his own in an instant (though the disciples do say that he has mellowed down from before) and we never get to see what the MC himself wants to achieve. Secondly there are hardly any normal conversations with the MC. Others are kneeling before him most of the time, including his disciples who he is either reprimanding or ordering. While this may be the norm in that world but it is quite strange to see MC adapting to this in a heartbeat coming from modern earth. Likewise it is quite strange to see MC show anger eruption from so-called 'betrayal' by some of his disciples when he should have no sense of master-disciple relation despite inheriting some of the memories.
